I just finished a month of birth control pills and the nurse told me to come in for blood/sonogram on my 2nd day off them. I did just that this morning and she said that I stopped too early, even though I completed the full cycle. Apparently at CRMI/New York they do IVF cycles during certain time frames to accommodate the OR. So now she says that Dr. Kligman (my Dr.) may want to put me BACK on BC pills for a few days to a week. I conveyed to the nurse that I think I am gettng my AF today or tomorrow. SHe said that is not a problem the pill will stop it...
Basically, I am VERY CONCERNED that this is going to mess up my cycle AND this is our last cycle before moving onto donor eggs. Also, I had a co-culture procedure done last cycle and I am afraid that they may continue with this cylce so as not to lose those cells.
Is this new development going to ruin this cycle???

i know they say cornell is good but how does the re work around there schedule i dont think its fair to push you back. we already go threw enough. but if your ok with it than that is fine. good luck with your cycle. i am trying to see if you are the same person did you go to rma before.
yes i only know you from the posting but i remember i posted one time asking if anyone went to rma. i looked at your name for a while and i remeber you wrote me back. I know you did not like them very much but i got a bfp on 6/21/08 i will be 7 weeks on saturday. I know it is hard but do what is best for you if you dont like the fact they put you off you should have let them know. i told rma i did like my other re because i always someone diffrent and they really catered to that where it did not happen.
I have not studied that. From my limited understanding, it seems like it should not be a problem. Also, I've seen last minute manipulations of a cycle now and then. Don't recall any of the docs thinking it was a problem.
But you should express your concerns to your clinic, if you have not already.
As for RMA vs Cornell, both have great reputations within the industry.
Sorry I cannot post something more firm on this one.

Darn, I guess they can do whatever they want basically,
for me I was supposed to start stimming yesterday but
RE forgot to tell my DH to take his Doxy so I had to wait a week
for this Sunday. I hope they don't forget to put the right eggs
back in me Anyway good luck.

Oh, you wanted the right embryos? Oops.
Remember to be nice to your clinic staff. If patients are rude, well, we have hundreds of frozen monkey embryos in the back room...
