to_have_fun08 They actually didnt wait until i had a period. They went ahead and that same day the cancelled me they put me on bcp. I still didnt get my period. My LMP was 05/31/08. Is it normal for RE to not wait for a period?

Jude Congrats on your BFP. Wow i cant believe so many of you guys have BFPs.

AWESOME NEWS, JUDE!!! What an outrageous beta number! Holy crap! That is just so exciting, I am so happy for you!!

I've been very very very tired...had to check in on Jude as soon as I got home, now it's time to lay down!

adsgirl and jude - thanks for counting my weeks for me and for the awesome website! I love that website! I showed my bestfriend and she thought it was pretty neat as well.

hope everyone else is hanging in there. Like most of you, I am starting to get pretty tired these days and the cramps are hurting but I am taking that as a good sign. i talked to the nurse today and she said is completly normal. Also, I take a probiotic for my ibs and have taken it all through my cycle. Now that i am preggers though, not sure if i should stop or not? anyone else take a probiotic?

tohavefun - thanks - we transferred 3 3day embies, one 8 cell, one cell and one 5-6 cell. I am wondering how many stuck!

Bella, thanks - hey roll on Monday now, so for big numbers for both of us

- I have no idea about the probiotic though sorry. I don't see why it should be stopped, but you never know. They don't say don't eat yoghurt or anything that is cultured with probiotics though as far as I know?

Rosario - thanks, good luck Tuesday with your checkup.

Venus - good luck tomorrow!
Sonu - are you still sick? I have been a little nauseous today and yesterday

but definitely not enough to puke. Hope you feel better - or not really seeing as we like m/s!!!!!!

congratulations Jude .. with that Beta there is definitely more than one in there .. when is next beta??

Sonu - I laughed so much when I read your post about being pleased to have morning sickness.. it is happening for you ... soooo pleased!!

I have appointment with RE on monday to discuss what went wrong and what he will change for next cycle .. also had some counselling which has helped .. going to take another week off work as my job is quite high pressure and lots of staff reductions taking place at moment - which I would have to do and know I am not emotionally stable enough to do at present

Will keep checking on you ladies .. love to all

Hi all,

My first post - and first round of IVF (so not sure of all the lingo! where can I get caught up on the abbreviations?).

I had my transfer on July 3 (ET?) with assisted hatching. Waiting for next week to let me know if it took.

I'm laying low, and keeping realistically optimistic. Any words of wisdom?

Also, I'm finding the progesterone shots more painful as we go along. My DH (got that one!) has been giving them to me, but will be travelling and I'll have to do it myself from time to time. Any suggestions on that?

Glad to find all of these kindred souls - I'm looking forward to having a community to connect with that is going through the same thing.

Thanks Wishfull, my next beta is Monday. I'm glad you have an appointment with your RE to try and figure out a game plan for next time. I hope that that helps you to feel a bit more together and to get through the grief. Let us know what happens.

Welcome Mommakk!! How many embies did you transfer? When is your first beta? Hope that you are feeling good, and yes, taking it easy in your 2WW. You are PUPO!!!! Putting a heating pad on after the PIO shots really helped me, if you look on the June/July thread back a few pages there is a link to a youtube video that Godblessus posted about giving yourself the shots - I am fortunate that if DH couldn't do it, my MIL did so no tips I'm sorry.

Updated beta today: 1387! DH and I are so excited..."Babies in the hizzle" is the direct quote from DH when he heard today's beta report. He's such a freak...

Thanks, Tara and Kim...Actually, that was my 3rd beta - 15dp5dt. Still feel great about it, though! Would love for it to be twins...DH thinks it is, I think it's one. We'll find out in a couple of weeks! I will call tomorrow to schedule the U/S. They said we could come in on the 25th or anytime after (as if we would want to wait!)...As long as our doc is there that day, it should be the 25th...DH's birthday is the next day...so it will be a perfect way to kick off his bday weekend!
