Hello, girls! Moving is one way to make the 2ww fly by. I test on Tuesday, and I've barely thought about the test. I haven't forgotten about being PUPO, I'm just not stressing about it so much this time. I really really want this to work, but if it doesn't, I've got a nice new house and (of course) a really darling DD to be grateful for.

I haven't exactly been taking it easy. I rested for about 2 days, but it was nearly impossible not to lift anything with boxes everywhere. I have been trying to rest and nap, though.

I have not POAS and I don't think I will until Monday.

hrobinson & beth, so good to hear from you. I'm so glad you both seem to be a little better spirits these days. Enjoy your summer!

laura, don't even think about leaving these boards. We'd miss you. Let us know how you choose to pursue #2...

I'm at the library now. I won't have internet access at home until next Wednesday. Ugh. I'll post again as soon as I can.

Thanks for all your support and kind words.

Take care all!

Yellow:
I admire that you haven't POAS yet! How are you feeling? I know, impossible to tell what is symptoms and what isn't....
Did you bed rest those two days or just take it easy?? My RE says just take it easy, but???
Glad you are loving the new house.

Hi Yellow:
First, let me say good luck on your beta today!

I have a question regarding one of your last posts:
"2 embryos yesterday -- an 8 cell and a 5 cell. They were both frozen at one cell.
" After they thawed the embie, how long did they culture it until it reached 5 and 8 cell?? one day or two??
I am very curious, b/c my clinic just thaws and transfers, and I would love for them to be cultured for 24 hrs or so..
Can you please share this info with me.

Baby dust to you!

Hi girls and hope that you are all keeping ok.

Yellow - thinking of you during 2ww......and thinking lots of BFP thoughts.

I am on the stims since last friday - 75 lureis and 225 puregon, 2 injections in the evening.

Would you believe that I had a car accident in the clinic last week (when I was there for my first scan) - reversed into one of the doctor's car. I was annoyed!

Hi Laura:
What have you decided to do???

I spoke with my coordinator today, and decided I should do PIO for progesterone. I was a wimp before and did the suppositories, but got the BFP. I don't know why, but I feel like I need more progesterone.
I also am going to do AP before and after transfer.
I figured it is our last try, why not just go for it...

Joyanna: I am so sorry that you got in a car accident. What a bummer, but I am so glad you are okay.

Steph- Welcome!! Are you going to do a nonmedicated FET? I think someone on this thread may have done that but I can't remember. Glad to have you join the #2 gals!

Kim- We still haven't decided anything. I think we are going to really take the rest of the summer off and then make a decision. Dh and I have some things to work through together before we decide to do another cycle. We're not for sure going to do another cycle but we're open to considering it. I would consider adoption but I don't think dh would. The PIO shots aren't that bad after you do a few. Where are you in your cycle now?

Yellow- I hope we haven't heard from you because you don't have a computer to get to. Hope you got your bfp!!!!! Thinking very ++++++++++++++++++++++ thoughts for you!

Guess, I'll come right out with it.

First beta: (12dp3dt) 7.7
Second beta: (14dp3dt) 19.5

I'm out of estrogen pills. I'm waiting for the doctor to call back and tell me what to do. Honestly, I'm shocked they told me to stay on the meds and test again after the 7.7.

I don't even know what to think about all of this.

I'd already taken a pregnancy test on Monday -- BFN -- cried :( . Makes sense since the beta was so low. When I got the call on Tuesday I POAS with the last test I had -- very faint positive. This is torture!

OK, doctor just called. Test again on Monday. I'll keep you posted.

Laura, Kimmy thanks for the positive thoughts. Send some more if you have any left!

Kimmysq, they thawed the embryos on Tuesday and transfered on Thursday. I kind of like that they had a little chance to grow before the were transfered, too.

steph2, welcome! I think a non-medicated FET is a great idea. My clinic really prefers the medicated cycles, so that's what we did. I do like the idea of a more natural approach, though.

Riogirl, my dd just turned 2. We started trying again when she was 18 months. Good luck and enjoy #1!

Yellow- I'm keeping everything crossed for you!! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers that your little embie hangs in there. Lots of ++++++++++++++++++++++ baby dust coming your way. I'd say it's a good sign that your number more than doubled in two days. Now you gotta wait till Monday- I can only imgaine that is torture for you- sorry... Hopefully you can keep busy with your new house and dd so the time will fly! I have definitely read on here that in FETs, the embies implants later so keep positive- this is your #2!! Keep us posted and we're all here for support. I'm sure Monday will show great things!

Hi girls

Yellow - sending you lots of ++++++++ thoughts and prayers. it really is a rollercoaster but stay positive. I find the 2ww torture.

Welcome Rio and Steph2.

Rio - I tried my first FET around my dd 1st birthday. I was keen to try and get pregnant asap but unfortunately it hasn't worked out yet.

Steph2 - wishing you all the best with your FET. I only did medicated fet so I have no experience of how it is without the meds.......sorry

Laura - good to hear from you. Enjoy your summer and I wish you all the best with your decision making.

Kimmysq - for information my clinic has much better success by thawing and letting the embryo grow than freeze and transfer. However, they will only do this for d3 frosties and not blasts. Also, I am also hoping to do ap before and after the transfer. I have been doing weekly ap for the past 7 weeks and i find that it is very calming and energising.

As for myself, I am on day 7 of the stims and feeling so much better than when I was on the nasal spray & bcp. I am taking it day by day, just hoping to get through to the er and et ......us tomorrow to see how the stims are working.

Yellow:
Oh my gosh, waiting for Monday is going to be torture! However, your beta is doubling, and they say that FET implant later... I bet you will be okay!!

Can you please tell me when they thawed your embryos how many cells they were (4, 5, ?? cell) and when they transferred them back, were they blasts?? How many did you transfer back?? Sorry for so many questions, just so curious!

Joyanna:
Thanks for the info on your clinic. I think I am going to ask them to grow my embies out. Last time they thawed 8 to get 4, transferred, BFN.
I have 8 left. It makes sense to me to thaw them out. My clinic is a big fan of getting them in their natural environment. I got pg from a fresh 3 day transfer, however...??

As for me, I am on my estrogen pill and Lupron. Transfer set for July 30th.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Kim
