Egg Sharing??
Hi, I have done IVF in the past, and I a 27 mo old baby boy from that cycle. I am wondering where I can go or how I can find a match for egg sharing? My husband is in Law School, so the funds are a little tight! If anyone has any helpful info, please share. Thanks

I am also looking into egg sharing! I believe that the hospital you use will make the match for you ( unless you would rather go with somebody you know, then i'm not sure).
We are in a funny position at the moment as we are due to move soon. What I have done is spoken to the hospital that is treating us at the moment ( we have just been through 3 attempts of ivf all neg) and told them I want to egg share. They have been great, they are sending me all the info. through the post. At that hospital we will only have to have pay for the drugs so that dramatically cuts costs. I have also been looking into the options we will have when we move and sent the local hopsitals e mails asking if they do egg sharing.
Not all hospitals do egg sharing and they all have different price reductions. I would suggest looking at all your options and e mailing a few to get the best you can.
Let me know how you get on!
N.B you will have to go through many tests to make sure you are healthy for sharing, you will also be advised to have counselling and we were also told that from April this year a child born from egg sharing, from the age of 18 is legally allowed to find out about you! All things you will need to consider.
