Can't wait to hear about everyone's fert reports...grow embies grow! The time between ER and ET was exciting, but i felt the most sick too for some reason..as soon as the embies went in...everything started turning up!
I haven't seen my doc either since the consultation...it bothered me that he did the mock transfer but not the actual one...but like kim said b4..SG is like a factory (rockville)...anyway...the RN hasn't told me about my 2 remaining embies...did they grow to day 5 or not...i left a message and she returned my call, but her message didnt answer my question, then yesterday, called again, but this time no call back! When should I have heard about the remaining embies to cryo???

Hey ladies - just got home from pesa and er. i am so sore and cant wait for the vicadon!! I didnt start to feel crummy till the next day last time so keep your fingers crossed. We had 14 eggs. No idea how many are mature yet. The idea was to get less than last time - i had 23 and was so sick so i guess they know what they are doing

Baby - sg didnt give me update on cyro frostie till day 7 or 8. I asked on my day 5 transfer and they said they would let me know on day 7 or 8. Frustrating i know. Hopefully well have some this time. Last time we had 1 day 7 frozen which doesnt have much of a chance so im not sure why they froze it.

Anyway, we are happy for today. pesa went great (needle for like on sec)and we have frozen sperm for next time so my dh will be able to drive next time and it will save us money. Cant wait to hear updates.

Wow - this has been a busy thread!! Congrats Jharris and Kim with 14 eggs! That's fantastic. Dcdiva - 12 eggs is awesome too. WTG! Elisabeth, 9 eggs is a great #. I know it's a numbers game but 9 is a great start! Ang & RBJean, I hope ER went well for you today too!!

RN2005 - congrats on the trigger for tomorrow. I hope you feel better with the flu symptoms. Hopefully it is only a 24-hour bug. Lots of rest and fluids to you!

All is going great with me. Yesterday we went in for the ET and to get an update on our 5 embryos. Well we learned that one fertilized late and the initial 5 were growing so we actually had a total of 6 embies!!! I almost jumped off the table to hug the embryologist Here was the cell count: (1) 7 cell (2) 6 cell (3) 5 cell (4) 5 cell (5) 4 cell and (6) 4 cell. We transferred the 7-cell, 6-cell and one of the 5-cells for a total of 3 embies in the uterus!! We are soooooooooooooooooooooooo excited!!! The other three are staying in the lab to see if they continue to grow. If they make it to blast and look good, we'll freeze them for future use. This is so dramatically different from my last cycle. Last time, we retrieved 8 eggs. Only 3 fertilized, one arrested by day 3 so we had 2 left - just barely 4 cell. We are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay ahead of the game this time! I just feel like this is really really really going to work for us this time!

So I'm now with you babyloves in the 2ww. I test on 8/1. When is your test?

venus: Woo Hoo!! Congrats on being PUPO!! That is awesome that another embie decided to join in! I hope the rest make it to blast!

I finally got my fert. report! For some reason they called my house and left a message!! But never called my cell! Anyway, out of the 14 they retrieved, 11 were mature, they did ICSI on all 11, and 9 of them fertilized!!! He said they were dividing nicely, and he will call me tomorrow to discuss the transfer date! YEAH!! 9 fertilized is a great improvement from the 3 I had last time! I am so excited! I cant wait ti get an update tomorrow now. Once again, time to wait!

Hi everyone, we just got back from ER and they got 12 eggs - not sure yet how many are mature. My DH's TESE went well too, although he's sitting next to me and is very sore. He did say though that he much prefers the "natural conception method" (a little more fun)! We won't get our fert report until Friday, so we have to sit tight until then.

Kim: 14 eggs is awesome - and not too much, so hopefully you'll have a very quick recovery. I'm praying for great fertilization for all of us!

Venus: AWESOME embryo report! How crazy is it you have 3 embies growing inside you right now! And it's so great you have may have some blasts left over to freeze. Congrats!!!

wow..you guys are doing awesome..that's sooo great!! Good fert reports..i guess it takes a cycle for them to realize how much meds you need to get the best # of eggies...
Venus...my test is also 8/1...that is 18dp3dt...i plan to POAS the day before..i don't want to know sooner...i'm soo scared about the results. i've had occas cramping, sore boobs...could all just be the PIO..i hope all our efforts come to fruition . Good luck to all!

I have a total of 35 follies that are growing so far
and I think I have to stim for 2 more days.

As for me, I had my ET today. My doc transferred 2 8 cell, grade 2 embryos. They seemed happy with that. I'm still trying to wrap my head around all of this terminology. It is so fascinating. Doc also told me they were able to freeze 5. so that's good. However, he had a difficult time finding the opening of my uterus, and when they wheeled me back to my dh I was in tears. The doc and nurse said i shouldn't be worried AT ALL and that the upside to them taking so long is that they know for sure that the embies are in the right place. I just want this so badly that I feel like I can already see my little guys' faces. I'm sure you all understand. Ugh. So, my 2 ww begins.

I am feeling much better. I think I just had a 24 hour flu. Just feeling weak right now so I am not doing anything....just resting up and getting ready for ER tomorrow! I will let you all know how tomorrow goes...can't wait to join you all in the 2ww!!

Antoak...the 2ww is kinda rough..so hard to concentrate on anything else...i finished my 1000 splendid suns book in like 3 days...and now trying to study for my boards (infectious disease), which is pretty tuff to focus on. Great job on the 7 frosties...looks like you have plenty..but hopefully don't need them. I unfortunately don't have any to freeze..the two stopped growing. So, all i have is the 2 little embies in me...please implant!!
baby's coming: actually i just counted it...and it is 14 dpt (8/1)...when is ur beta?? i'm not sure if they meant 18dpt ER.

pretty soon...we'll all reach the end of this IVF cycle, and cheers for BFPs!!!

hey guys - Venus - congrats! 3 is perfect. My clinic wont do 3 just do but i kind of wish they would!!!!!! How many have you transfered in the past? We did 2 blasts last time because thats all they would let us do.

jharris - 9 is great - i will be siked if we get 9 to fertilize but im not sure what we will get. Last time i think our fert was like 12 out of 16 mature one. So i hope to get like 75% again but all depends on how many are mature. Ah the wait between er and et

antoak - 5 frosties is awesome. i would love to get 2 this time but i guess well see

So eager to see if we get to do a 3 day on sat or a 5 day on mon - since the 5 day didnt work last time i really wouldnt mind doing a 3 day this time

Hi everyone, Just wanted to update on ER today. They took 14eggs , thats twice as many as last time, so things are looking good already. I cant wait for the call tomorrow to see what happens with them. Congrats to everyone, looks like we are all in a great place. Stay busy during that 2ww, as hard as that may seem. Thanks ladies! I'm pretty excited about the 3 embies. Kim - last time we transferred two 4-cell embies and neither took. So I was definitely up for putting another one in there I still can't believe the difference in #s from our February cycle and this one. We are doing so much better!!

Jharris - congrats on 9 fertilizing!! That's awesome! Grow embies grow!

Babyloves - that's exciting that we have the same test day. They're doing mine a couple days early. I think it's normally 2 weeks from ER. Since my ER was on the weekend, my test date would normally be pushed to the following Monday. They decided to not make me wait longer and have the test the Friday before the 2-week mark. I was so grateful! (it's literally one day shy of 2 weeks) My test date is just a little over a week away now. yippee!!

Congrats RBJean on the retrieval of 12 eggs!!! I've got my fingers crossed for a great fert report.

antoak - congrats on your transfer today. Your e-cell embies sound great. My embies are grade 2 as well (whatever that means). Welcome to the 2 ww. Congrats on being able to freeze 5 too. Good job.

rn2005 - I'm so happy to hear that you are feeling better from the flu bug. Good luck tomorrow!
