hello,
This is my first time in this forum.Today is my second day after transfer and I have gas pain with cramping .. Iam worried about this thing .
Also i have another question I usually sleep on my tummy does that effect on my embryo ?
Thank you
watermelon, I had the same thing. I had that feeling for almost a week after transfer for some reason. Not sure why it does it though? I think b/c you are still real swollen inside, you are just more privy to it. But I'm not sure.
As far as sleeping on your tummy, my ER told me to stay on my back the first day, but then he said that night i could sleep how i wanted, so my guess is it doesn't matter. You might just want to check with your clinic though to be sure.
It can be quite normal to have gasey pain, you have essentially had an operation, your bowels rests when you have anaesthesia, it is very normal to get some gas type pain.
The best thing for this is to walk around your house this will help get your bowel moving and you should be able to pass wind, also peppermint cordial is very good for this.
I sleep on my tummy too. I wouldn't worry toomuch, if the embryos implant they are well cussioned by the uterus. Later in pregnancy I think it may be more difficult, but dont worry I have the same problem, but hey if we get pregnant we can sleep later
take care and try not to worry.
