Hi Everyone.

Well my headache went for about an hour, it has returned and stayed, I have acupuncture this afternoon and I'm hoping it will help as its driving me crazy. I went for a walk and got some HPTs on special offer. I got up this morning and went to the loo quickly so I didn't give in and use one of them, I know it is way too early.

Hey Priya I hope your right and its implantation headache, that would be worth having, it would be good for both of us. Did you enjoy your walk and did you buy any HPT.

Lisa: the 2 pack were 11.49 here and I almost bought them too, but then if I have too many in the house I will use them. Although who am I kidding I have another one which I got from work so I know I will probably use that one too. I really am going to try to hold off till sunday, I will keep you all posted.

Hey Jaz, I havn't been having many cramps either and my boobs appear to be less sore but I'm trying not to analyze that, so you should try not to worry.

Hi Babyloves, your very good of you doing all the housework, I was going to do mine today. the inlaws and parents should be cooking for you, I've been trying to take it easy but I am doing all the cooking as Anthony is working and I just dont feel right sat on my backside. Anyway you take it easy and dont do too much.

talk to you all later, I'll let you know how I got on with the acupuncture.

Hi Ladies-
How is everyone feeling today?
Kez01 thanks for the words of encouragement. I woke up with slight cramps this morning and just feeling BLAH! I'm feeling very tired and worn out. Not sure how the rest of you are?
I'm getting anxious and want to poas as well. I'm trying to hold off until Sunday at least. I couldn't imagine the drs office calling me at work on Monday. If it's good news of course I wouldn't mind. Thought about just taking the day off Monday. The ladies I work with know all about my ivf and have been supportive, which is great.
For those of you who are doing acupuncture, I've read great things about it! Keep it up! I should have done it myself-
We are all getting close, almost pass the 2ww! I hope and pray all of us are p!!!!!
lots of love and prayers to all of you!

Hey Guys -
I hope everyone is doing good today.

Kerry - I did go for a walk yesterday but it was late in the evening - its been raining here for past 4 days - GLOOMY. But the sun is out today :)
I did by preg test and was tempted to use it today but am going to hold on till Sunday.

Jaz - hope u r feeling better now hunn. You are right we are almost there .....

Babyloves - wow that's too much house work. I am not doing any house work except for some light cooking for 2WW. My husband has started to hlp me a little when he is around so am hoping this way he will know how to do the little chores like laundry, keeping the dishes at the right place etc etc ;)

Lisa: How r u holding up on the preg test - did you do any yet?

I still have a little heach-ache today and a little pain in my neck and shoulders - it could be the stress I think. Am going to put a hot pad on the shoulders and lie down - that helps me sometimes.

Am planning to keep myself busy this weekend - catch up on movies and see couple of friends for dinner and spend some time with my husband if he is not working - he has promised he will not !!!!!

Talk to all of you guys soon
Lots of love
Priya

Hey guys-
Ok I'm feeling blaher and blaher (if that's even a word). I'm so tempted to go out during lunch and get a pt. I've been at work since 7am and seem to have gotten worse. I'm on day 11, I would hate to get disappointed and it ruins my whole weekend.
Priya how many days are you at today? Sorry if you've already mentioned it. I'm with you, haven't done much house work. Not 3 br's at once! Wow Babyloves!
I've done some stuff around the house, but get worn out.
Are you guys ok to take something for your heachaches? Maybe some Tylenol?

Hi everyone,

it seems as though we're all getting abit fed up with the wait and POAS is ever so tempting.

Well I have spring cleaned all downstairs in my house, the living room, dining room, kitchen and conservatory, even done the windows, I'm absolutely warn out. It's very clammy and sticky here even without doing housework but you know what? my headache seems to have eased.

My husband will be home all weekend so I wont be doing anything at all and I didn't lift anything heavy.

Priya that pain in the back of your head, shoulders and neck is classic tension headache, meditation works really well if you can do it. but the heat pack should definitely help.

Well I'm off for my acupucture, talk to you all later. Have relaxing afternoons if you can.

Hi ladies.
Priya...ur beta is only 11 days post ET? i'm also 7dpt (days post transfer)...and my beta is on friday...we're all getting really close.
I don't know about you guys, but today i got up feeling that this is not working. Every day...i'm getting a little more pessimistic. Then, i think that its not good for the embies if they're still attached...so i start getting out of that rut. My friend had a bad headache before her beta, and she is pg (by IVF), so maybe that's not a bad thing. I'm sure tylenol is safe in pregnancy. Kinda wished i had a headache too!
Kerry: i'm glad u r doing housework too! i justified it as we're probably out of the rest window by now (my clinic told me 2-3 dpt)...i probably wouldn't have needed to unless guests weren't coming...DH is not as good as me at cleaning :D i love it when my house is sparkling!
I'm scared to POAS..but i think i'll stick to my guns...only the night before the beta.

Hey Guys-
Ok I guess I got passed my lunch plans. Decided to stay in and not even go out to lunch. We have a cafeteria at my work so I will be ok...
I have 2 tests at home, I'm thinking if I can hold off till Sunday after church I will be good....a little praying in Gods house first
I have to prepare myself for Monday just in case. I figured if it's negative on Sunday, I might just skip work on Monday.
I guess the end is getting to ALL OF US! I was ok at the begining of the week??? I'm scared and excited at the same time..so many emotions going through my head, as I'm sure with all of you!
We just wait

Hi Ladies!

Sorry to crash your thread. Wanted to wish you all luck in the 2ww. Having been reading your posts as Babyloves is a close friend of mine. Fortunately, we have been able to go through this infertility together. I'm just a few weeks ahead of where most of you are, so I wanted to share my experiences.

First of all, my beta was scheduled for 2 weeks after ER, which was a Wed. The previous weekend, I started having odd symptoms such as reflux and a low grade headache that didn't respond to Tylenol (which has never happened to me before). Therefore, I took a HPT (EPT) on Mon morning, convinced I would get a definitive (+). Instead, I got a very slight, barely visible line..it was so faint that I had to point it out to DH since he read the test as negative. On Tues & Wed morning, I took a First Response test and got a more convincing positive. When I went in for my beta, HCG was only 66. From what I've read, many of these HPT are not sensitive enough to pick up HCG levels <50. However, from previous experience, I have found that First Response has been able to detect HCG levels as low as 33.

Take home: I would wait at least 12 days post ER to test, just so you don't get a false (-) and be disappointed. Also, if you test, I would do it with the first morning urine, since this usually will have the highest HCG concentration. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Hi everyone,

thanks blue for your words of support, its nice to hear positive stories, it gives you hope, and congratulations on your pregnancy.

Hey lisa I'm just like you, I was very tempted to do a HPT this morning but again quickly went to the loo so it wasn't an option. I am going to try and hold out till monday like you. good luck.

Priya I would take the spotting as a good sign, it could be the implantation bleed.

Jaz good luck with your HPT on sunday, dont forget to let us know how you got on.

Babyloves I hope you have a nice weekend with your family and keep those positive thoughts flowing.

Well my headache finally cleared yesterday and I had a good acupuncture session. I feel like a complete bore but I have a headache on the other side of my head today but I'm going to try and just get on with things. We are having some friends round for a bar b q tomorrow, so Anthony is mowing the lawn and I'm just going to watch :D . I think the fresh air will do me good too.

I hope everyone enjoys their day and positive thoughts going out to all of you, talk soon.

Hi guys-
I don't have very good news, although after reading Blues response I feel a bit better. Thanks Blue!
Well I could't reisit and ended up poas yesterday after work. It was negative
I'm hoping it's just too early 5days after ET, which makes me day 11 after ER. I also did it in the mid afternoon which wasn't good. I'm feeling bummed, but trying to keep busy by cleaning today to keep my mind from thinking about it. I will do one again tomorrow morning- hoping it will be positive!!!
