How's everyone doing?

Hope well yay it's thursday - one more day and the weekend!!

I have been having lots of Braxton hicks yesterday I had at least 15-17 of those and I'm a lil concern about it.

I think I might discuss this with my OB on my next check up because I do not want to jepordize anything.

so far everytime she has checked my cervix it's been nicely closed - so I dunno she did say to call her if I have had more than 10 BH's a day.

I get really nervous and scared but at the sametime I don't like to bother OB every time something new happens.

Good morning mommies!

I was so busy yesterday I totally forgot to post! I guess I'll chalk that one up to PG amnesia too.
OMG I had the worst heartburn the other night...I thought I was going to DIE! Luckily my OB ok'd pepcid & I had some, & it worked within 15 mins.

Jenn- this is stupid, but I didn't think it got hot in Canada. Shows you how much I know! I guess the humidity makes it worse though. Our coastline just got hit by a hurricane, so we are getting some crazy rain...good for the grass, not so good to drive in! Congratulations on the boy!! So his little wee-wee was totally obvious? See, that's what my OB said, that the wee-wee lights up and is so obvious...and since she didn't se anything she thinks its a girl. Well know for sure on aug 14th i guess (If she cooperates)

sameera- sorry to hear about your BH contractions...is that normal this early for a twin PG? My EDD is Jan 13th, next U/S is Aug 14th. When are you driving to Iowa? You should talk to your OB before you go just in case!

God Bless!

Chelly - sorry about your heartburn I hated that when I had that with my first pregnancy. Luckily I don't that at the moment. I think you can take Mylanta or Maylox or something..

I am leaving for Iowa next weekend but yeah I do plan to call my OB and ask her about it prior to leaving.

My OB said it's normal to get BH's already however they shouldn't exceed more than 10 a day or something to that effect.

Sameera, I was just thinking of you and your little twins. I have a friend who is 37 weeks pregnant with twins and I called her the other day to see how she's feeling since she has been on modified best rest. She's obviously ready to deliver but she told me she measures 47 weeks!!!!!!! Can you imagine????? I asked her how she breaths??? LOL.....she's hanging in there though.

Nikki - oh man I'm scared and nervous - I'm very petite and tiny person I dunno how I'm gonn handle both the babies. I cannot believe she is measuring 47 weeks! I'm gonna die ...

I know that I'm gonna get bigger but didn't think it would be that bad but the more I read is more I'm getting scared.

I'm already big for me right now and this is only 4month and I got lots of weeks to go - my OB prolly put me on bed rest!! if not I'll ask her to put me on one if i cannot SIT comfortably..

I just want the babies to be healthy, not too much worried about what's going to happen to me.

So...one of the nice OB docs at work did an ultrasound for us yesterday and my DH was able to be there which was nice cause he doesn't see them usually when I'm at work. Anway, as we thought.....ITS A BOY!!!!! We're happy and I'm very happy to be able to shop for one or the other and plan the nursery....YAY! :D

Morning all!

Michele - Yeah the temperature here in the summer does get pretty hot. With the humidity it is 90-105 everyday. Sorry about your heartburn. I get it almost everyday. I got it quite frequently before I got pregnant. I tell ya though it definitely hasn't gotten better.

Nic - Congradulations on the BOY! We are having a boy too and are very excited about being able to get the nursery ready. We still have to figure out what we would like to do exactly but I'm just glad we can start on it soon. My mom has already started buying him clothes! She called me on the weekend to let me know she bought some clothes for 12 months & 18 months.

Hope everyone is having a good morning so far.

Good Monday morning!

jenn- have you thought of a theme for your nursery yet? I think little boys are so precious....I have to admit I dreamed of having a boy 1st...but I am happy either way!
Its not for sure but our OB thinks we are having a girl...they can tell us more at our next scan. But now DH really wants a boy...so he's already talking about doing an FET for #2! I reminded him that since its already an embryo, that one could possibly be a girl too...he didn't like that.
The heartburn comes & goes...I had bad acid reflux before getting PG too so its no surprise. I just avoid the spicy & acidic foods. I tell you what...spaghetti sauce kills me! Too bad I love spaghetti  Pepcid is my new best friend...and I keep Tums in purse.

Niki- congratulations on your boy!! I bet you can't wait to start buying stuff for the nursery!

sameera- I had a friend in school who had twins...she didn't get that big. I mean, big enough for 2 but not gigantic or anything...and I think she carried to 37 weeks I think. Not sure but she didn't need to be on bedrest or anything. Isn't it amazing that PG women don't topple over?? Maybe that's why we start to waddle towards the end! Are you still having BHs?

God Bless!

Hi everyone. Sorry its been a bit. I'm having some PC probs, so I'll be hit and miss for a bit, I need to replace my harddrive.

Wow, fab that everyone is finding out sexes already. We don't find out til after the Aug. scan, and we're still in the air if we're going to find out or not.

Like Jenn said, the weather in Ontario has been hot and humid, with tons of rain... so not ideal for pg people.

We threw my twins second birthday party this last weekend. Tons of work ~ and tons of people, but so much fun.

And Sameera, I measured about ten weeks ahead consistantly through my twin pregnancy... good luck with that.
