AUG/SEPT BUDDIES!

Hi everyone....I just wanted to give a quick update on my situation. I had u/s today, and things look worse than my first cycle. I've been on stims 6 days and I only have one follicle at 14 and a few under ten. This sucks so much. They will keep me on the stims a few more days, but I know I will be cancelled. My heart is broken again.

Hi..I think I will be cancelled aswell because I've been stimming for 14 days and the re said "oh your close"

WTF man, I'm tired of feaking stimming already. My E2 levels are 1800+ and they counted a couple 20 mm follies today and like 5 15mm, like 6 17mm and 10 less than 10 on each ovary.
I'm waiting to see what they say about my e2 level today.
I'm so pissed that they stimmed me on a low dose then uped the dose and I'm still not ready for er.

Plus my af will be hear in less than 2 weeks, so how would that be a 2ww anyway?

Girls I hope you guys dont get cancelled. You guys are mad they started off on a low dose and i am nervous they started me on 600 units and this being my first IVF and all. Never went thru any type of treatment. Lets pray all goes well for us all. I am currently on day 4 of stimming and you could tell i am a little swollen. This is all new to me and i am scared you have no idea.

Rosario - I am so happy that you made it to stimming. I am really rooting for you and your cycle.

JDC - I can't express how sorry I am for you and that your cycle might be canceled. I have been there before and I know it is really frustrating. I don't remember what your DX is but is their anyway they could do IUI if they do cancel your cycle. This way maybe you will have a slight chance of getting PG without wasting all the $$$ you paid for the drugs. Just a thought.

ndgo- I just posted on the other site but I wouldn't think that you would be canceled. It is just taking a little longer for your follies to grow.

JHarris - How are you doing? Are your embies back home yet?

hopinginpa - I know your not so happy about your fert report, but you only need 1 so you still have a really good chance of getting pg.

jenolina & ohbaby - welcome to the site - good luck on your cycle.

Val - are you going to be disappointed when your regular AP comes back from vacation? If you like the substitute better can you keep going with her? I am glad we will be starting are stims around the same time.

Karen - how are you doing? I forgot where you are at on your cycle? Are you doing BCP's now?

Hope everyone else is doing good and that you all have a good and relaxing weekend.

I'm just still hanging out taking BCP's. I am finding it really hard to get excited about this cycle. I have a lot of fears that it will be canceled and then I don't know what we will do. I am trying to keep up PMA trying not to worry too much.

HHello Ladies

I hope everyone is having a good Friday. So exciting the wekend is upon us again.

JDC- I am so sorry they may cancel you. I can only imagine how disappointed you are. I know it is going to work for you. I have read many women who's follies just took over after the 5th or 6th day of stims but if they don't I am positive the AP and herbs are going to have a positive impact, maybe it will just take a little more time. It is just so frustrating how this whole thing is so unpredictable here you are needing those follies to grow and grow and I jsut wanted mine to slow down. I just wish this whole process was more predictable. But we WILL all get our babies, I just know it.

Jharris- Did you have ET today or are you gonna make to to a day 5 transfer? Can't wait to hear.

Ndgo- I think you're gonna be ok ) The progesterone will most likely hold off AF. I have a 25 day cycle and when I have my last IVF it took 5 days after stopping POI to get AF that put my cycle at 33 days. I aloso posted on the other post about FET and maybe that is a way to salvage the cycle if they do cancel which I am sure they won't. Keep that PMA.

Hoping- I know you are disapointed but 4 really are great. I bet they are nice and strong. I will big thinking grow grow all weekend.

Rosario- How goes the stimming? Is there a reason they put you on such a high dosage? Do you take ust the one stimming med? I was on 300iu of repronex and 300iu of fom my first cycle but that was due to my weight but I felt the same way that it seemed like alot. I am sure doing the babydance is ok during stimming as DH and I were ordered to do it during that time.

Nothing new here just waiting waiting waiting. I will be bringing up the rear just like on the may/june thread. I am on day 24 and waiting for AF. Then I have to wait for AF again but with no down regging this time so hopefully she will come sooner then last time. On the BCPs last time it forever to get AF.

Welcome to all the new ladies. This is going to be a boooming month/s of BFP's.

I'm hear everyday reading and trying to get reassurance for
myself from the stories on here. This site is awsome

Update on me- I start my trigger Saturday and er should be Monday.
Then I guess et will be some time next week or beggining of August.
I'm tryna keep calm and stay positive but it's sooo hard....darn 2ww.
I'm looking forward to the 2ww but not the wait of the 2ww

So anyway..yeah, that's my update.

JDC~I feel for you! this is terrible news about your follies and seems so unfair after everything you have been through. I hope that they kick in last minute and you dont get cancelled. I am thinking of you.

I am just so nervous right now. We did get a good report today. We had 3 4cells and 1 2cell. I am happy with that. ET is tomorrow am.

JDC-I am so sorry about your cycle.

Ndgo82-sounds like you are ready to trigger!

Jharris-congrats on PUPO!!!! Enjoy your bedrest.

to_have_fun08 Thank you so much. You aren't too far either. BCPs worked great on me. They shot my E2 levels down right away. Dont worry when you hear your RE say "you can start your meds now" i am sure you will definitely wake up every morning to a big

on your face knowing you are one step closer to being PUPO.

MzTia I been on Follistim since Tuesday night and i am definitely tender. Belly is swollen and i cant even bend, sit or walk properly. I am scared out of my head to have IC. I kinda feel bad for hubby, but there is nothing I can do right now. I dont know exactly why they started me on that dose. I do have two guesses though. One because my endo and ovarian cysts have damaged much of my ovaries (maybe they suspect i wont be able to produce much) and two because i am on the overweight side. Maybe these two combined made RE decided on 600. Then again i am only doing Follistim while some of you guys do half and half.

Hope everyone is well. Like i have said I am very tender and just cry because I get frustrated knowing what i have to go through being so young. I guess maybe after all of this i might just be needing some therapy.

JDC- i can't express how deeply sad i feel to hear your news..i'm so sorry. please don't lose hope for the future. i have a acquaintance that did IUI about 9 times and then IVF 3 times, all over about 8 years, and then got pregnant on the 4th IVF try. she has a beautiful boy a year old.

Chris- i get your fearfulness....i cry at the drop of a hat the last 2 days. it's awful but i've found lots of support. i sobbed in front of about 10 coworkers this morning out of no where. we're all very close. only some of them know what's up, and the rest were very supportive too. i don't start stims til sept (no suppression- flare), need to have hysteroscopy mid august first, and have at least 1 normal period, as i'm post miscarriage.

mztia. i'll be 'bringing up the rear' with you ...or maybe even behind you.

ndgo- last cycle i got pregnant with only 2 mature follies...so you never know. best of luck to you.

I went today and had my CD 3 u/s and bloodwork done. Here are my results:

FSH: 11

LH: 2.9

Prog.: 0.8

E2: 53.4

I started on BCP tonight and will take them until Aug. 6th, then if all goes well i start stims. I only have my left ovary so i know I will not produce alot of eggs. Today on the scan it showed 3. How many do you usually have on CD 3? Praying I will have more. I just want mature eggs!!!!!!! Any help will be greatly appreciated =)

Good morning ladies! Hope you are all having a great weekend!! I I went in yesterday for ET!! We transferred 3 beautiful embies. (with grade 4 being the best) 1-8 cell grade 4, 1-8 cell grade 3+, 1-8 cell grade 3!!!

So now I'm on 3 days of bed rest.

This is the hardest part I think! But I'm happy! We have 5 more embies they are watching, and if they make it to Monday, they will freeze them. Not sure of their chances, but we will see.

Now to try and catch up!!

muggsey: I don't recall them ever saying how many follicles on CD3 for me. I'm sure if your RE was concerned, they would have said something. Not much longer till stims!!

Rosario: I think we all feel like we may need a little therapy after all this!

Good Saturday ladies,

This is a jumping thread for the past day or so...busy, busy.
Worked hard all day yesterday and went to a friends' house last night. I had AP this morning and now I can finally catch up!

jharris~ Great news on the ET!! Wow, 3 embies...they might all take

. I'm amazed that you stay in bed for 3 days. I couldn't do it. I figure that since other women that get pregnant naturally do not stay in bed, why should I? I would take it easy but that's it. If they're going to implant, they will no matter what.
Best of luck and enjoy being PUPO. Believe that you are pregnant, don't even doubt and I feel that it will happen.

hoping~ Thinking about you! How did ET go for you? How many did you transfer? Best of luck to you too! PUPO...YEAHHHH...

Muggsey~ You and I will be very close to each other as I start stims on the 7th. Your number are very close to mine. My FSH was 10 and E2 were also 53.5. Sounds good. I was never told before about how many follies they saw. I will have the US on the 6th of August and maybe I'll find out more than. Just relax, it looks good for one ovary. I'll be happy to have 5 or 6 follies. That's plenty for one ovary. Try not to worry about every little detail because it will drive you nuts. I know from experience as I did that the first time.

ndgo82~ Congrats on trigger today...that's always such an exciting moment. Yes, stay very positive and calm...you'll do great!

Chris~ Try and erase those fears from your mind, they don't bring you good energy. Think that you will have great follies and of good quality. My AP always says to have positive thoughts and the negative ones should immediately be erased from your mind, push them away and tell them not to come back as you don't have time for them.
You'll be stimming with Muggsey, kate21 and myself ...we are going to have BFP...I feel it!!!
I will not change AP, but I must admit that I enjoy the substitute a lot. She might help me some more around ET time, we'll see how it goes. My regular one does not do house calls and I might need one at that time. We'll figure it out when that day comes.

JDC~ I know this is a hard time for you right now! Why can't they keep going even if you don't have that many follies? I only had 3, remember? and 2 eggs and I got pregnant! Keep the PMA going...
How many is a few that are under ten? You've got still a few days to go and they can still catch up. I'm sending you all my positive energy and wish you the best. Big hugs for you!!!

Rosario~ So much unknown the first time, I know it's not easy to deal with. If they started you too high, they can adjust that dose. When is your first US? That should give you an indication of what's happening. Let us know and we'll help calm your fears. I'm sure there are good reasons why he started you so high, some you mentioned yourself.

Karen~ Enjoy your mini vacation...I envy you too...You need this time to relax with DH, recharge your batteries and relax your mind.
You might bring in the rear but what better note than to end up with a BFP!

As for me, I feel great and very confident about this cycle as well. Everyone tells me I'll be pregnant and I feel it too. I wish sometimes I could rub some of these good feelings to some of you..we all have to believe deep down, within our core that we are going to be pregnant and never doubt it. I doubt sometimes too, don't get me wrong but I quickly erase those thoughts ...let us all believe that we are going to be mommies!

We have a great thread, with so many girls, it's wonderful and I really love it. I look so forward to read about all of us, feel so happy when somebody is doing well and so sad when somebody is suffering.
Thanks again to all of you for being here and be such an important part of my life.

Hi everyone,

I've been looking at your message board for days now and i've finally plucked up enough courage to join in!!

Im 36 and dh is 40, ttc for over a yr, so went to fertility expert who diagnosed hydrosapinx of both tubes. Had surgery to remove both tubes last month and about to start ivf. SO NERVOUS !!!!

Currently i'm on birth control pills, which seems kind of wierd but i stop these on the 4th Aug and will be injecting (dont know names of all the drugs yet) from the 10th. Ive been told egg retrieval will be around 20th/21st with transfer 5-6 days later.

Even though i dont know any of you yet i want to say thankyou as reading all your stories and seeing how you are there suppporting each other has given me so much strength at a time when i feel so helpless
