Hi everyone!
I am new to this board, and I am currently in my 2ww. I've done everything to keep my mind off the 2ww, including buying a puppy. LOL. Anyway, I gave in and took a HPT this morning. I am 9dp3dt. It was a very faint positive, but I am wondering if it is just the residule HCG from my trigger shot on midnight (Sunday the 16th). I have my blood test on Wed. and these last few days are murder. alreadyblessed - I'd say you got a BFP!! If you got the trigger on Sunday, 7/13, then the HCG should be long gone. Congratulations!!!

Welcome~~ the 2 week wait can drive you nuts

What I did was .. I took an HPT on 9dp3dt and then took one everyday for 4 days until my blood test date which was scheduled for 13dp3dt. They all came out positive..very faint at first and got a little darker/clearer each time.

Ah - the dreaded 2 week wait! I remember it well! I took my first HPT a day earlier than you...and it was a true positive! I kept taking them every day for days afterward - my husband thought I was nuts! Sure sounds like you got a real positive! Good luck! Hopefully you are indeed pregnant!

I am so excited hearing all of your news. It's GREAT!! I did IVF in 2004 and wound up with a beautiful little girl. This time around I hyperstimulated, and wound up with 42 eggs!! It was crazy. I thought they were going to cancel my cycle. With my last pregnancy, I had implantation spotting, and I havn't had that this time around, so I really thought it didn't work.
Can anyone tell me what a chemical pregnancy is?

A chemical pregnancy is when you get a positive pregnancy test, but the embryo growth doesn't progress which leads to your beta hcg not to double as it's supposed to. It's usually due to abnormalities within the embryo and your body aborts it naturally very early in the pregnancy.

I had one at a little past 4 weeks for my first IVF. My first beta showed pregnancy, and then when I went for my second one 2 days later, my betas hadn't gone up. About 2 weeks later I got my period.

Hi Amy! Thanks for the response. Congratulations on your pregnancy!!!! When are you due? Like I said, I am new to this website, so I am trying to get all the "lingo" down hahaha. What is BFP? Love your baby time line!!
