Hello everyone!! :D To introduce myself, I am 30 husband is 38. We started this process 18 months ago. He had a vesectomy. So when we decided that we were going to try to have another child he had a reversal. We tried for 12 months after that on our own and nothing. We decided that we would go to my OB and see where we could go from there. I had 6 months worth of Clomid and still nothing. My OB referred us to a IVF Doc. Come to find out the reversal was not 100%. My husband had very very low count and not very mobile so our only option was straight to IVF. We started the beginning of July and everything was great on my end no problems what so ever. We did the retrival on Tuesday (well my RN mother-in-law gave me the Hcg shot on Sunday). In the middle of the procedure my Doc said that they weren't getting any eggs. I was devestated. My husband had to run home and get the 2 vials of Hcg and they tested my blood. There was .1 out of the medicine vial and I didn't have any in my bloodwork.

Thankfully my doc called us that night and said that his office has never done this before but, we could get another Hcg shot and try again on Thursday for another try at a retrieval. So we had a retrieval on thursday and they collected 4 (which I was very happy with that because of the mess up with the shot). Fri. we got the call that we had 2 embryos. So Saturday they transfered both of them into to me and now I am playing the waiting game. This will probably be the only shot we have beause if they don't take we would have to start all over and the costs are too much!

So here I am looking for words of wisdom from anyone that has anything that I can do to make at least one of the attach. Trying not to go crazy!!!!

Thank you for any advice you might have

Hi Phil n Lil,
I know what you mean about going crazy playing the waiting game. All I can tell you is that I've gotten a few meditation cds to help ease my stress and anxiousness and it's really working. I talk to my "embies" and sing to them, as hubby does too. We're very playful and positive and are hoping for the best. This is such a hard process to go through and I'm so glad to have support here. :D

I started talking to my embryos and look at the pic the doc gave me and I feel like I am just shooting myself in the foot. Trying to stay positive and strong though!!!
