Hey Susan
Congrats on your good news lets hope you get your money back aswell wouldn't that top it off i hope you stick around to share your progress.

Bel yep i'm pregnant again i did a froaen cycle after ds was born which failed and then had to start fresh i only had one good egg and you doc wanted to cancell my cycle but luckily we persisted and it worked i think he only went ahead because i cried but anyway the one i did have was the right one i was lucky it worked at all the doc said if i had waited much longer we wouldn't have anything to work with anyway to top it all off were having a little girl this time so if it doesn't happen again for us i'll be ok with that. Btw looking for a name to go with Katie, katie is a definate i've loved the name for ever since i was little but can't decide on a middle name. Oh any tips on the toilet training ds has interest a pretends to push and as you know tells me after the fact i just can't manage to catch him early enough. oh ds is 6 days younger than Ellie and definately a chatter box also i swear he could talk under water

Kery kery kery how are you had my hospital appoint to go over the notes from ds's birth to decide between having a ceasar or vbac and guess what no notes have been transfered to the new hospital yet but the doc seems to think from what i've told her that i can choose either i think i'm freaked out about trying naturally but don't want to choose a ceasar knowing how much harder it would be this time needing to lift bath and change a 2 year old and an active one at that i'm such a scaredy cat

Hi Em how are you going putting on much weight yet

Hello Ozstock hows the sleep getting any i hope youv'e settled into a smooth routine i think that is the hardest part apart from the sleep deprivation but once you have some sort of a routine happening things seem to smooth out anyway i hope things are going well and would love to hear how things are going when you get a chance

Hello Tiger hows things for you anything special happening for you.

ok best go off to bed early tonight to make up for the early start

take care all Jomaexxx

Hey Jomae
yea I'm not sure whats worse a ceasar or pushing a pumpkin through a pin hole hmmmm I'm not looking forward to the birth. They say you forget the pain but I tell ya after 11 yrs it's still fresh in my mind!!! I would rather someone just knock me out for the day and wake me when its all over!!! Toilet training yep thats good fun. I'll tell you how dh encoraged my poor ds to toilet train. My boy was just lazy and would rather do it in his nappy. My dh got so sick of changing pooy nappies he used to take him outside and hose his bum down with the outside hose. I know its sounds mean but it worked!!!! Anyway enough of the child abuse stories.

Hi Guys
Sorry i'm so slack for not posting i guess it's because the board is so slow at the moment i seem to be checking less and less not expecting anyone to have posted Anyway all is good here getting fatter and fatter and defiantely more anxious about a possible Vbac and all the unavoidable pain associated with it the trouble is no matter how much i think about it or no matter what i do i know i can't avoid the birth part and can just hope for the best.

Kery been there before with the hose thing not with ds but another child
i think i'll just need to wait until summer and keep him in undies to see if i can train him hows things for you going anyway

BEst go take care JOMAE

Ladies please post soon and let me know how your all doing i'm getting lonely here.

Hi there ladies,
Just checking in to say Hi! Sorry I've been absent for so long and thanks for all the well wishes. So many babies and BFPs going on over here which is great.

Well, our little one is now 5 and a half weeks old and settling in really well. Over the past week or so we are getting the big gummy smiles and twinkly eyes so it just melts our hearts. For the most part, I've been lucky and haven't been too sleep deprived. I tend to feed her before going to bed (which is typically on the late side), then wake once to feed her during the night (lying down so i can keep sleeping), she usually goes straight back to sleep, then an early morning feed. So have been extremely lucky. Our older girl is over the moon at being a big sister and has been a big help with the baby. I guess the 5 and a half year gap (due to fertility issues) has sort of become a blessing in disguise as i get to spent quality time with both of them.

Was nice to hear some news from Belinda as it's been a while. Glad to hear you and the kids are doing well and good luck with your next cycle. Big hello to Kery, Jomae and Em as well, nice to hear the bellies are growing and congratulations to you Susan- that's so nice to hear when mother nature intercedes over IVF. Tiger, my friend, how are you doing? Gambatte ne!

Anyway, look forward to keeping up with everyone's news.

Hi everyone,

Sorry for not posting sooner - i've been trying to not look at the internet for the past week as i tend to read too much and start to convince myself this pregnancy wont make it! Its so negative i know but i'm nearly too scared to hope after the past years efforts. In fact i've had some minor spotting for the past week however no pain so havnt felt the need to get things checked out. I have my 6w4d ultrascan tomorrow so fingers crossed there is a heart beat and all is ok. My beta levels have all been fine so i just have to keep hoping all will be ok! My god this is stressful stuff!

All of you give me hope that it can work so thanks for that.

Ozstock - so glad things are going well. i could do witha few big gummy smiles myself!

Jomae, Kerry and Em - what week are you now? Does this get easier?

Anyhoo - only a few more hours until the ultrsound tomorrow so i guess i wont have to wait long.

All the best

Hi everyone
Well Susan you have had a good day!! Glad to hear that your little one is doing well. I think you do tend to worry a bit more with your first. This time round I feel far more relaxed. I guess I know what I'm in for this time!!! Thats great that you got your money back! I am four months now.

Ozstock - thats great that you are getting some sleep! My 11yr still doesn't sleep through the night!!

Hey Jomae hows that belly of yours doing? I bet ya growing by the day!!! I developed a blood disorder during the last few weeks so my OB is trying to sort it out for me. I tell ya this bub is making my body slowly break down!! Have you thought of a middle name yet? Katie is a pretty name!! I am picking a girls name a dh is doing boys names. I am thinking Jayde but I've got many months to think about that one. God only knows what dh will come up with!!!

Hugs to ya all

Hi gals,

Jo, I love the name Katie as well, it's really feminine. I love Louise as a middle name (Katie Lou sounds kinda cute!!). The whole vaginal delivery after c-section thing is a big decision hey..I was a wuss and went straight for the second caesar, but you've gotta do what works for you. I must say, I recovered physically really well after both caesars and was lifting Annie (who was 21 months) onto the toilet while I was in the maternity ward after having Eleanor, so it can work out OK that way as well.

Ahhh Jo, toilet training, don't stress too much, they all do it in their own time, and boys are MUCH slower than girls. They say the first summer after they turn two is the ideal time for girls, and i reckon it's more like first summer after they're three for boys (though I only have girls, so maybe I'm a bit wrong here??). With both the girls they very much led the process, they were very much displaying the classic "toilet readiness" behaviour that gets talked about and I just went with it. Annie tranined just a few months before Eleanor was born and it was a lot like hard work with a tiny baby. Typically it was a great way to get my attention, I would be in the middle of a breastfeed and Annie would say "I need to poo". She had difficulty pulling down her pants independently so I had to detach Eleanour (not popular) and help her, then convince Eleanor to keep on feeding...AGHHHHHHH. Not much fun. My feeling is that unless ds is showing real toilet readiness at this stage, put it off until well after the next bubby is born, and/or warmer. I'm a big believer in chucking out the nappies and letting them run around in knickers or nude ("free willy time" in your case!!) and then trying to catch what you can in the potty. I have potties EVERYWHERE in my house / in the car / in the backyard etc so they're always available. The use HEAPS of praise when it happens, lots of "only big boys do their wees in a potty" that sort of thing...Let me know how you go..

Ooh, gotta go ladies, am feeling a bit under the weather tonight, have been on horris antibiotics and they have made me yucky in the tummy..

Talk soon

Hey Girls
Susan congrats on the strong heart beat now you can sit back and relax a little i must tell you though the worry doesn't stop but you've definately acheived the hard part and now you just have to take it easy and enjoy the next few months goodluck i hope you keep intouch letting us know how you and bub progress congrats again.

Kery yeah just in the last few days i've really noticed my belly getting bigger firmer really more than anything and trying to put on my shoes is getting difficult its funny with jacob i couldn't bend at all straight from the begginning and he basically lived under my ribs but with Katie i'm getting all my pains in the lower left of my abdomen or right down in my groin so at the moment i don't know whats worse. your brave letting your dh pick the boys names if i did that i would have a little Eddie no offence to anyones hubby if named the same so goodluck with that. whats happening with you why aren't you feeling good? Jayde is actually on my middle name short list if i knew we weren't trying for anymore kids her middle name would definatley Grace but i love the name so much i would like to keep it if we had another girl decisions decisions.

Hey bel good to hear from you again hows everything going for you thanks for the toilet info i think your right about waiting until summer and letting him loose with just undies until then if hes showing interest i'll run with it but i won't push him on it. i still can't decide on the ceasar or vbac i think i'm a bit of a worrier and can't decide incase things don't go to plan so i just don't know what to do. have you a start date for your cycle i hope your not feeling over whelmed

Anyhow best go time to cook dinner or the savages will be hunting me down.Keep in touch ladies it's good to hear from you all

Hey Jomae

Not much happening here. Ds is off school sick so I guess I will be next in line to catch it!! I go for a scan next week but we're not going to find out the sex is so there will no exciting news from me. I want to paint bubs room but I don't know what color to paint it, any ideas? It has to be two colors as it has a wooden boarder thing in the middle. How are your doing?

Nothing much happening here regarding bub except to say i'm definately getting bigger i've put on three kilos to date so i guess that isn't to bad. i've been getting extremely tight patches on my tummy i figure katie is stretching or trying to escape i still can't decide to vbac or ceasar what would you do. Hey there Kery
If you click on my ticker where it says gaga.com topleft hand corner i think it will take you to the same place that i got mine from and if i remember correctly once you've chosen which style you want you'll have three or four suppliers to choose from i can't remember which one i chose but i think it was the third one down and you post it to your profile when you get it in your profile you'll need to delete the last few brackets so that you don't get extra writing on your ticker. I haven't done it for so long and it took a while to work out myself so i'll see if i can work it out again and give you better details in the mean time give it a go and see how you go. Four and a half months hey i guess you'd be over the morning sickness well and truly by now are you getting a bump yet.
I'm glad your feeling better and things have been sorted. We are building this is the third house we've built and hopefully our final we don't have hand over until the 12th of August providing nothing unforseen and major arises which we don't expect to happen we are really pleased with the company we've built with and the quality so it's all good. Let me know how you go with your ticker

Hope everyone else is well

Kery
you have to type in the Baby - gaga.com into the web address select your due date and then choose the third option that says Get your custom ticker you then choose which type of ticker you want and then select get my ticker now which is on the right hand side of the chosen ticker ckick on the box that says yes i know about cord blood banking and then choose the second option that is for sites that allows bbcodes once it is highlighted go up to your tool bar under edit and select copy you then need to minimize that screen and bring up your profile and put your cursor in the signature section click on edit again and click on paste when the writing shows up in your profile where your cursor is delete the [Url] at the very end and submit the new profile and it should work Goodluck
