HCG still in my system?

Post by christiedawn »

I am 4dp3dt and 9dp HCG trigger shot. Should the HCG be out of my system? I know..I know "they" say that it takes up to two weeks, but those of you that have done this before and poas after transer how long did it take?

I am still getting faint positives 4dp3dt and just wanting someone to shake me and tell me to NOT get my hopes up...it is still the HCG.

Thanks,

Christie

Hi,
Generally the rule of thumb it takes a day to get rid of 1000 units. For example if you took 10,000 units which is the most common dose by now, the HCG may very well be out of your system. It can take at most 14 days and it all depends on your metabolism. I truly hope that you received a real positive! I'm rooting for you!!!

I think it's pretty early to test and if you're only 9 dp hcg shot (assuming it was a 10000 u shot), you may still be seeing residual. I'd wait 2-3 more days and if you're still getting (+) hpts I think you can be more confident. It also depends upon what kind of test you're using. The real sensitive ones now can pick up such low levels.....

Try to relax (I know, much easier said than done!)

Good luck and KUP! I hope you get the bfp really soon!
