How's every one doing?

Nikki - Congrats on BOY!! that's lovely.. '

Chelly - Yeah I still get BHs all the time.. yay!! fun fun.. Well, i guess everyones pregnancy is different so who knows I might NOT be on bedrest.

Denise - My only concern is I want babies to be healthy and without any complications. I could care less what I have to go thru.. i mean i do but it's not that important.

Although for the past couple of days I am having hard time breathing.. i am only 17w4d...

I feel like my nose is super swollen from inside and lungs and everything is just pushed up and i am finding my self having shortness of breathing lol prolly cause the babies are pushing everything up.. but geeze i am only 17weeks, i have ways to go..

any suggestion ladies?? more so Denise any suggestions? I know you have already been thru twin pregnancy.

Michele - I have been trying to get some ideas of what I want to do for the nursery. I haven't come up with anything yet. DH and I are going looking this weekend. I know what you mean about spicy and acidic food. i have been trying to stay away from it as well. I find I drink alot more milk now then I used to. I drink 3 bags (4L) in 2 days. Dh constantly complaining that we keep running out. I tell him he should do what I do when it is my turn. I by 3 bags of 3 then I know it will last! I want to do another FET about a year after my little boy is born! WOW! How awesome does that sound! Also you never know, when you go for your ultrasound you might end up seeing something you didn't see in the last ultrasound.

Denise - I guess you are feeling my pain with the weather we have been having this summer! How awful.

jenn- atleast you can drink milk. I used to drink soy milk before I got PG but now I can't stand the smell. I try to drink regular milk but it upsets my stomach too. I can't even eat ice cream, and I used to crave it when I wasn't PG! I eat a lot of cheese to try to make up the calcium, but dairy is so freekin' expensive now! I think a gallon of milk went up to almost 4$ I can't wait to see what I'll be paying when the baby starts drinking milk!
I crave spicy foods though...like hot cheetos with limon...but I know if I eat it I'll regret it.
I told DH maybe the baby grew a wee-wee in the last few weeks but not to get his hopes up!
Either way, I think I am going to do neutrals for the nursery...I am into organic stuff and those linens are neutral colored.

God Bless!

Sameera, just pay attention to your body. Get your nursery ready early, then forget about it. And prioritize, there's nothing more important right now then what your body is doing. If any occassion, etc. will be too much, then don't do it. I carried my girls until 37 weeks, and even then they didn't come out of their own accord, I was induced. My philosphy is be prepared for what may happen, but don't assume it will be you, and just keep ticking away when you meet another milestone.

Anyways, very tired still, and heading off to bed. TTY all later

Good Morning Everyone!

Michele - I know what you mean about dairy being expensive. I spend at least $12-16 a week on milk but it's the only thing that calms my stomach.
I liked Italian sausage on pizza before PG now I can't have it or I will pay for it for at least 24 hours.

Denise - Sorry to hear you are so tired. I still feel it a little sometimes but definitely not as bad as the first 3 months. I could barely stay awake the first 3 months!

Jenn, for some reason it just seems to drag on. I'm exhausted alot of the time. I've been taking extra Iron at the Dr. request, and I'm wondering if its still not quite doing the trick.

My heartburn doesn't seem too bad though, and thats a blessing.

good morning, how is everyone doing??
I woke up this morning and I had a hard lump on the left side of my belly...I think it was the baby b/c I rubbed it for a few minutes and I felt like it 'floated' away. It was very strange...felt like an apple in there or something! I don't know what I am supposed to be feeling since its my first PG.

Is anyone still really tired? I keep reading that i am supposed to get my energy back this trimester, but I am still pretty sluggish. I tell DH its bc my body is making the baby...he thinks im stupid! haha.

God Bless!

chelly - it prolly was the baby that was streching - I get that happened to me all day!!

one side they would be lump and I would massage that area and then it's gone and few minutes later it maybe on my right side..

lol so i think they are just growing and moving around and trying to make some room..

oh tired - I'm very tired i thought it would get better to but geeze i'm getting worse and worse to the point in the mornings I am so sleepy that i can't even get myself ready LOL

Baby does take a lot of your nutrients and energy. men thinks it's funny and we are making up excuses but really what do they know. IF only they could go thru half the crap we do..

I make my dh rub my feet and back everyday - my feet are starting to get swollen and back hurts everyday. I don't like to feel this way but i do make him rub LOL.

Hope you start to feel better! How's everything else with you??

I'm with you on the feeling tired.....I keep hoping it will pass and I'll feel so much energy like I keep reading about. But no. This pregnancy is so different from my last, I felt really good until around 25 weeks when I went on bedrest. This time I am so tired and havve headaches, can't sleep. I also have pregnancy rhinitis......so I give myself sinus rinses every day. This does feel good for a short while. Sam.....sounds like you might have this too if you're nose is stuffy. I have a hard time catching my breath sometimes, too, especially trying to talk while I'm active or when I'm eating if my nose is blocked up.
Oh well, I'll try not to complain....I'm so happy to be pregnant and would love to embrace it rather than resent it.

Good Morning Everyone!

Hope everyone is doing well this morning.

I have to say i used to go to bed by 8pm every night. Now I'm lucky if I go to sleep by 11pm and it's not for a lack of trying. I just can't sleep. I went from getting 10 hours to getting approx 7 hours sleep. I don't feel as sluggish during the day as I did when I was getting 10 hrs but I am not the ball of energy I was wishing to have.

Michele/Sameera - I am feeling the same lump that keep disappearing. I am starting to feel more fluttering then I was. Can't wait til the kicking starts.

Sameera - You are so lucky DH rubs your feet. Mine hates feet so I have to put them up in hopes the swelling will go down.

Nic - I have had some sinus issues as well. Not all the time but at night I tend to get stuffy and can only sleep on one side or one nostril is plugged and the other one is clear. I don't like that feeling. Hoping I will be able to breathe again soon.

Denise you are so lucky your heartburn doesn't really bother you. It has got to be the worst feeling. I'm hoping your exhaustion will where off soon.

Jen- try taking a hot hot shower before bed. That's what I do every day and that helps me to sleep better. But of course I cannot get in one comfortable position.

i'm sorry make your DH rub them feet tell him it's critical he does that for you and the baby lol

Nikki - i know what you mean sinus - like today I could hardly freaking breath - I mean really!! it's so annoying when you are struggling and taking heavy breaths.

I just feel like my body is so exhausted and wanna lay down but I cannot - i'm at work and it sucks!!

Sameera - I have to say he rubs my back to try and help me fall asleep. sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I think my sleeping issues stem from the fact that i am a stomach sleeper. It is the only way I have a peaceful sleep.

I know what you mean about exhaustion. Didn't have a good sleep last night so I am trying everything to stay awake at work today. Luckily I seem to be quite busy. I hope it lasts until the end of the day.

Morning Everyone!

I am feeling a little tired but not as bad as I have been lately. I did have a bit of a restless sleep. Other then that everything is good and looking forward to my ultrasound next week.

How is everyone else doing?

Hi everyone, I hope you're all having a great weekend. My DH and I went shopping for nursery bedding today. We decided on a theme and picked up some bedding to use as the base for our decoration. It looks very cute. We went with zoo animals cause we're going to paint some animals on the wall....kinda like a mural but not that extravagant.

Is everyone emjoying feeling their little one wriggle around as much as I am? I was so impatient to feel the slightly bigger movements than just a flutter and now I can feel those I'm totally happy. He wriggles when I yell at the dog, which makes me feel bad...lol. He wriggles when I'm eating and when I'm just laying around. Come to think of it, he wriggles quite a bit. I want to put this feeling in a bottle and keep it forever, it is what makes all the struggles of the IVF treatment worth it. Doesn't that feel like ages ago?

I'm surpised I haven't really had any true, distinct cravings this time. Hmmmm......I do use pregnancy as an excuse to eat ice cream more often than usual. I went to marble stone last night and got a snicker doodle in a waffle bowl.....I highly recomend it. I had it in place of dinner so I didn't feel so bad cause I know I eat plenty enough during the day....lol. Anyone having any real cravings??

Well, back to watching a kids movie with my little boy.....one of my favourite things is to snuglle with him and watch a movie.
