Hi Alison, I just wanted to say thankyou for the gift you are offering and I wish there were more women like you out there.
My husband and I are now thinking about donor eggs after 3 failed IVFs, the last one being over 2 years ago. We live in England but I have a sister in NJ who had a baby through donor egg and she is trying to convince me to come over there for our donor treatment. But we are at early stages and aren't even sure what the costs would be.

Go for it... I have done quite a lot of research around this topic and NY has one of the best available options: New Hope Fertility, right on Park Avenue (they even make arrangements to emet you at the airport!), lovely staff and a good egg bank... they might even know a doctor in the UK to do all scans and uterine preparation, so you only have to be in NY for a couple of days.
