Hi Girls,

Been a while since I posted but now I have 6 wks off I am sure I can find some time!!

Nicky - shame about not seeing Jen, I hope her ms improves soon. Glad you enjoyed Scotland, I'm so looking forward to going at xmas. Tmt so far has been good, hot flushes have started to disappear (thankfully!) and I start stimming on the 7th August - can't believe in a months time we will be in Sweden!! Perhaps we can try and meet up some time while I am off?

Julie - how was the spa break? Bet it was lovely doing nothing?

Lisa - how is Mia and the moving/job hunting going?

Jen - thinking of you, hope the ms starts to behave itself and you feel better soon. Hugs

Souris - oh pregnant one! How are you?

As for me things are cool. Am really positive about tmt, the people I see genuinely seem to care which makes a real difference. I found out the other day that the hospital in Sweden only have 4 pIVF patients at a time in order to have a more personalised approach. Am looking forward to starting the stimming, although I don't want to wish my holidays away - especially if the weather stays like it is!

Anyway, am off to spend the day in the garden - hope everyone is all ok?

Hi all - Summer is here!! Long may it continue.

Kate - Hope you enjoy your 6wk break...I will be back at work before you are back in school  . The health spa was bliss. Total relaxation I couldn't even think if I tried - my mind was blank. Roll on next July!! Best of luck with stimming and enjoy holiday x

Nikki - Glad enjoyed Scotland. Can't believe it stays light until midnight! Bet it is wierd! Shame you couldn't catch up with Jen. You will be globe trotting before you know it too!! x

Jen - How are you doing? Did you enjoy your rest with your parents? Hope you were spoilt, sure you were. How are you feeling now? Hope improving x

Hi toGail and Katie and Lisa and Mia and Souris (and baby on board) - hope all well.

We had a great break away (caravan in fleetood on chance i forgot to mention). Went really slow but a nice slow. Jus is off for 2 weeks and hope the weather stays sunny so we can go out loads! His mum and dad are staying at the mo until 5 August (again!). Getting a bit cramped now.......

Have fun weekend xxxxxxxx

Hi guys.

Just to let you know that I had a D&C 2 days ago as my baby died again at 9 weeks, the same as my last baby/
I wanted to wait for a natural m/c, but it had been 3 weeks and nothing was happening.

I am having a hard time on holidays with dh's kids. I am very tired, emotionnal and want to tell everyone to f*** off...

So I think this time I am done for good. Adoption is not working out for us as I am too young and Dh too old... we dont have any sperm left from Dh and I dont want donor.
I guess in the next couple of months I will try to find out what to do with my life as I put everything aside for the IVF.

Sorry for the depressing message

I better go now
Love to all

Souris,

I am so so sorry about your loss. I know words aren't enough right now but believe me you are in my thoughts. There isn't much more I can say which will help - but if you need to rant/rave/cry you know where we are.

Sending you love and hugs

Firstly, sending huge hugs to Souris.... Honey, this world is so so cruel, I really dont know why God has decided your fate. You and your DH would make such good parents, the rules of adoption suck.... Age shouldnt matter, so what r they saying?? If your DH was younger or you were older?? It's crazy. It makes me mad!!!
I am here if you wanna rant and chat or whatever, Im a good listener (or reader!!)
I hope you find peace soon, and can move on in life.....

Secondly Lisa, I am concerned I havent heard from you via tx or email, are you ok?? Please get in touch some how, thinking of you, hope everythings ok with you and DH & Mia xxx

Kate, Jen & Julie..... YOu guys regularly tx so I am up to date with you's.....
Kate,Good luck with stimms. xxxx

Smita, how's you & your little gal??

Me, Im good, feeling lighter and happier, but still have my sad days. this week, ive had many tears, mostly due to the cats leaving us and going to a cats home forever..... my little twin cats are going, but we have to do it, otherwise they would be stray, and thats just awful....they need a loving home, and sadly no-one i know would take 'em, various reasons, such as having dogs and budgies and living on main roads etc.... You cant house a cat on a main rd, and both my aunt & uncle would have 'em but both live on major roads. Asked every1 at work, and no joy.... So we say bye bye to them.... aww, It's tough. As whats been going thro my mind is that, i am a bad mum.... but Dh says dont be silly, you wouldnt re home children if we had 'em. Its totally differen situation, but i feel like mum to my pets, and i feel like i am failing them.
Oh i dont know..... I try to be strong.
Much love to you all, and hope every1 is having a good w-end xxx
TTC 6yrs......Have jumped off the rollercoaster for now, too many BFN's and too much heartache, to keep going....Moving on to fulfil other dreams!!!

Hi Girls,

Just a quickie to let you know that all is well for Sweden. We fly out Monday with EC on Wednesday. I had my one and only scan today and there were 11 decent sized follies (5 over 18mm) and some smaller ones which may grow before EC. Here's hoping :D

Julie - good luck for Tuesday, hope it isn't too bad and you don't miss William too much.

Nickie - thanks for the text, I will keep you posted while I am out in Sweden. Enjoy your weeknd.

Souris - I'm hoping time has helped a little? Am thinking about you, take care.

Lisa - how's you and the job hunting going?

Jen - hope the MS is behaving itself and you are feeling better? I'll let you know about things by text while I am away.

Anyway, hope everyone else is ok? I won't be able to log on while I am away but I'll post when I am back and on the dreaded 2ww!!

Catch you later

Gail are you still working nights? hows little katie x x x

Smita hey babe love that your still giving us all support x x you are special to us x x x

as for me...neighbour next door gave birth to a baby girl on 10th July. What would have been 1 day before what my due date was! Hit me hard seeing that little one...and MS came on big time so July was a difficult month & Aug was not much better. been facing these demons of actually NOT being a mum and trying hard to focus on DH and I, while letting the feeling of loss engulf me and the tears flow. Been reading lots of helpful stuff . And have read that it can take 3yrs to get used to the fact that i will never be a mum...( notice not 'get over' the issue .... apparently thats a life thingy! oh joy of joys!!!) well what doesnt break us makes us... doesnt it girls!
I miss you all and do wish life was different but it isnt to be for me...i dont want to be down as i actually came on here to wish our Kate the best of British! and tons of ***BABY DUST***

sooooooooo on that note i will say catch ya soon
love to you all

Hello Pheonixes...

long time no speak...hope you are all okay.

Kate - guess that you are now back flat out at work. Hope that is helping you cope with life and all the ivf trials and tribs. thinkin of you a lot sweetheart, as i know how hard it is. Have you decided what your next steps are? Its hard either way isnt it! Much love and hugs x x x

gail Good to hear from you and that our Katie is doing so well, even tho she has had horrendous (sp???) chicken pox. as you said much better to get them over with x x x Must be so much better that you are working from home and ave her around you alll the time. at least after bath and bed tme you can and not go to work! much love x x x

Nicki not long until the 6th now...cant believe you will be away for so long will miss you and your txts and emails so much x x x but you are goin on a fab adventure and will come home ready and able for all the next steps in tmt. Good luck and have fun away x x x love xxx

julie- is work still such a drag? It must be hard leaving the chubster at home. BUT as needs must eh! how is it working out now? Are you looking forward to Christmas and what where are you going? whos family is getting the 1st Christmas with the grandchild? LOL eh! Hoping that work aint too bad and your having some me time x x x much love to you xxx

Lisa hey babe i know your flat out and prob not get a chance to read this ...thinking of you and hope your mananging to get on with life and maybe moving to Ayr x x x much love to you and yours x x x

Souris you too hun thinking of you lots x x x

Smita how are you...No posts for a while i see..Hope you and your gorgeous daughter are doing well. Are you thinking of a sibling yet? I know you had a hard time with your pregnancy but they say the 2nd is easier dont they? love to you two x x x

As for me...at the moment i am doing better than i have been for the last 3 months. hoping i keep getting better too. adam has had a few interviews but nothin much on the cards yet. Just as well we had a good redundancy payment or life would be very hard!!! He is still under my feet all the time playing PS3 ( just like a bachelor boy) Boys playing soldiers live on the internet! BUT he has been helpful putting up new lights wallpaper and painting some roooms in the house...so that helps. And he has been good to me as i had been so unwell...hes a good hubby really!

My Dad had his heart op which went well enough although he suffered a slight stroke which has effected his thinking a bit. we are hoping that that will heal as his recovery progresses. xxx

I start my MS course the middle of Oct and am looking forward to it...hoping that i will cope okay with the long 4 days on the course. it is good tho to feel that i will be working again soon, feel more empowered.

anyway my lovely friends wishing you much love and many hugs
speak soon

love jeni

Hello Girls

How are you all??? Hope all is well.

I am fine, feeling a bit rundown with ulcers and inflamed throat but that goes with the season I think which is pretty much like winter already!!!

Have been back at work 6/7 weeks now and feel like I have never been away and am really tired all the time! Still not keen but there are no jobs to be had and am lucky I have this one as lots of redundancies going around with the credit crunch!

Had my car broken into TWICE in the past few weeks and have had my engagement ring and eternity ring stolen. Absolutely gutted. Stupid of me to leave them in the car I know but sometimes with arthritis they get too tight when fingers swell so took them off and went shopping and then forgot to take them out. haven't bothered claiming as just want them back but doesn't look likely.

William is fine and growing fast. (apart from being totally gummy still!)

We go away on Monday to see Justin's parents in turkey so am looking forward to the break but haven't thought about starting my packing yet! Yikes....

Lisa/Gail - How are your little ones doing (or not so little ones now...) Hope they are bringing lots and lots of joy and some restful time out for yourselves xx

Kate - How's work? bet looking forward to the half term break. Enjoy the rest! Hope you are feeling better/stronger xxx

Jen - I hope your health and state of mind are still improving. xxx Hows Adam with the job front? Not annoying you too much being under your feet I hope LOL. Hope your dad is on the mend too and the effects of the stroke are diminishing. x Best of luck for your MS course! Sounds great. Hope you enjoy it and it all goes well - let us know. Take care xxx

Nikki- Our traveller!!!!!!! Not sure you will see this before your departure to Hong Kong on Saturday but best of luck with the travels. Hope all goes to plan and you enjoy every minute of your adventure. You so deserve it after your past few years xxx

Anyway, I will pop in to see any action when I get back from holiday. Don't post often but do think of you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
