Congratulations and welcome, rhall and alreadyblessed!!

rhall - congratulations on finding out that you are carrying twins. God must be having some definite plans when He chose you to have twins. He does everything with a purpose so do not worry and leave everything up to him. But yes, you have to be doubly careful in these initial weeks, that I am sure you must be taking care of. :)

alreadyblessed - Very strong beta, indeed!! You can be on either side-twins or singleton. All the best for your next beta, Yay, this wait can be killing. But dear, it has just started, after this you have to wait for two weeks to hear the heartbeat!! I am not scaring you but just be prepared. Getting pregnant is just another beginning!!! :)

tjspry - Amazing beta numbers!!! I think we are going to have lots of twins on this board as well!! You say 'you can handle it'...and thats the key word. :) He knows it all!!! All the best for your u/s next Thursday.

Amy - I am so sorry that spotting is bothering you and I pray that it gets over quickly. Its extremely relaxing that your doc is taking good care of yourself. You are definitely a lucky girl to see you lil baby every week...here we have to wait for two weeks before we can get glimpse of the little one.

Annie - Again you had great beta numbers!!! It definitely proves some strong implantation there. I think I also be going for my next visit on 13/14Aug...and frankly speaking this wait seems like ages to me.

At my end, things are steady and thankfully no major m/s. I am not working, so I am spending whole day in the house...resting!! and I am so terribly bored at times. How much can one read or watch tv!! Ya, I know its a lull before the storm but it can be very frustrating at times....no, no I am not complaining, I am very happy that we have been blessed with a pregnancy in our 10th year of marriage. I am really thankful to God for that and I pray that these months pass without any problems. Anyway, just few more weeks before I am out of this frightening first trimester. Ok enough of blabbering...and yes thanks for listening to me. :)

Hugs to all.

hi babyloves!
Yes, according to a pregnancy wheel I have had laying around (with dust on it LOL) I am due on April 7th. My first beta was 210. That was 12dp3dt. It sounds much lower than yours. Maybe 2 in there? :D
Unfortunately I have to wait until tuesday for my second beta (my docs office isn't that aggressive I guess) It's dragging by! UGH. So, you will have your second beta tomorrow! GOOD LUCK! Let us know how you are doing.
AMAZU~ I have been on pins and needles for you waiting to see how many little embies have stuck for you. Those beta #s are awesome! How are you feeling?
Sonu~ Hang in there. You are doing great. God has blessed you, and I can't wait to watch that baby count down go on and on and on!!
rhall~ CONGRATS!! CONGRATS!!! Had to say it twice! That is wonderful news. You will have two times the everything! And although when it comes to things like morning sickness, that may not be the best, you will have two times the love and joy when your babies arrive!!!!

Hi ladies,
How are you all doing? How was your weekend? I had to do the house chores which I had been avoiding these past few weeks.

Rhall and babyloves - Welcome and congrats ! I am happy and excited for you guys. Twin means double happiness and double blessing.

I am really getting frustrated with this waiting game. I do have some symptoms like frequent urination but it is getting less now. I feel very hungry and fatigue. I am also having backache but I don't know whether it is due to pg or my surgery 4 months ago where they gave me epidural and it hurts at that spot in the morning. Anybody else is getting this? My dh things I am getting crazy when I getup in the middle of the night to eat something. I am so tired mostly that I start wondering whether it is due to pg or I am getting sick as it is too early, isn't it?

Alreadyblessed - I am also getting excited to know how many are there? 3 is not possible as i had transfered only 2 blasts. Pray for me so that everything turns out to be fine in the u/s. Your waiting time is going to be over in 2 days. Hope to see a huge jump. Keep us updated.

Sonu. tjspry and amy - How are you ladies doing?

AMAZU~ It is definitely not too early to start feeling fatigue. I have two DDs. Both of my pregnancies, all I wanted to do for the first trimester is eat and sleep. (Some life huh!) :D I can't remember if I had back pains, but I definitely had cramping that felt like AF. I have had an epidural in the past, and the twinges and cramps from that lasted on and off for almost a year, so try not to worry.

alreadyblessed: hi..my beta was actually 2 days after yours, so its not that much higher..who knows u may have twins in there too...i've heard its a wide range and u can't predict...i'm just hoping mine doesn't go down...ectopic and m/c is always something we fear i guess. Hope its smooth sailing for all of us!!

hey all,
sorry it has taken me awhile to write. I had to work all weekend to get my classroom ready for the new school year. That was the most work I have done all summer!!!

Glad to see that we have more mommies to be that joined our group! Congrats on all the great betas!!!

Amazu: I feel your pain, some days I have symptoms and some days I don't. The other night I went all night without having to get up, it really freaked me out. I guess the good part is that the nausea comes and goes. I also have some back pains, but I had that before the pregnancy as well. I have a hard time sleeping at night. If I lay on my left side I get nauseous and my stomach starts to hurt. If I lay on my back my back starts to hurt. So, I have been doing a lot of tossing and turning.

Welcome babyloves!! Great to have you with us. You have some great beta numbers. All the best for your next beta!! Well, thanks for your kind words about me, I had to be strong...no choice because after reaching the age of almost 35 years the only thing I wanted - was to hold my baby in my arms. :) Hope I am able to do that...:) Yes, my determination and perseverance has helped a lot in this journey and by God's grace we have reached here!!

Sending all other friends loads of wishes...and yes GROW BABIES GROW STRONGER AND HEALTHIER!!!! Hope M/S is not as bad for anyone.

Sleeping is an issue with me too. Somehow I have this strange muscle pull from hips down towards legs, and it hurts like crazy!! I don't know what to do about it. And constipation is another thing troubling me, though having an apple or two always help but now this also seems to fail. Well I guess pregnancy is a package affair and we have to take these things smilingly.

Hugs to All!!

Hi Ladies,
BabyLoves - Goodluck for your second beta! I am excited to know the no. and start guessing.

I know this sleeping and peeing has become our life now. :D :D :D Nice poetry, Aha! Anyways, for constipation , I try to eat fresh cucumbers with a glass of hot water or tea and wallah off you go and get fresh with no hard work. I am a severe case of constipation even before pg and sometimes it use to get bloody. Yesterday, I managed to get a nice massage from my dh. I am also getting this leg cramps and god knows this pg, I am not even working but still I am so tired as if I have to do all the work for the whole world. If I didn't have this backache, I can lie down the whole day. But, sitting and chatting with you guys is also fun. I have posted a question abt prog. supp, if anyone can answer, it will help.
Thanx for all your support,
Annie

I am going to raid your board for a min...

Sonu911- Try prune juice first thing in the am on on empty stomach. Within 3 hours later you will be in the bathroom with no issues. Also, its you cant handle the taste of the juice eat dried prunes and apricots. This will do the trick.

Once I went off the PIO I didnt have any more issues.

Good luck!

hi everyone!
Just wondering what kind of tea is safe for us..i've been avoiding all teas cuz some of the herbal ones still have caffeine. No chocolate or fish..some websites i've read say to avoid certain fish like mackerel, etc, no sushi (which i love). Any ideas? Thanks..

Babyloves,
I am excited with your nos. but bcoz of the 3 day gap I can't guess the twin factor properly but may be after your 3rd beta it will be easy. I will have my u/s on 8/14 which will be almost 7 weeks for me. My dr. says the u/s has to be done after 6 weeks 5days. I like to drink the normal tea. My dr. says 1 - 2 cup is fine but it shouldn't be herbal. I am trying to avoid chocolate but do eat fishes which are allowed as fish is very good for certain nutrients for the baby and mother.

Thanks Dakota!!! It was a very helpful advise. I will definitely try it. I hope you are doing great!!

Babyloves - healthy and steady progress!! I was told to avoid any kind of tea or coffee. However, some studies prove that one cup of coffee or tea won't do any harm as it would carry very less caffeine. I would say ask your nutritionist.

Amazu - sleeping and peeing....poetry...you totally crack me up. :D I totally agree with you but add eating to it. I am eating like crazy and these cravings can be strange a times. Its funny, but I have tears or two in my eyes when I am told that the particular thing I want is unavailable. Its so funny because I am known generally to be shedding tears once in a blue moon.

Yay!! GROW BABIES GROW.

Hi girls!

Babyloves... congrats on a great second beta!! Mine will be coming in today...finally my first was 12dp3dt and this one will be 18dp3dt. I am waiting waiting waiting

AMAZU~ I had my first u/s today to see if the doc could see any embies. He's pretty sure he sees one, but wants me to come back in a week to see if there are anymore.

my docs office seems to do things very differently which has me a little nervous. My second beta (today), was 6 days after my first, my first u/s was today (at 5 wks), and I see that most of you don't go for a u/s until later.

sonu~ sorry I have no advice for the poop issue. That's one thing (and about the only thing) that doesn't plague me.

I did find however, that if you mix avocados, pickles, fritos chips and an italian ice, you will be able to poop through the eye of a needle for at least a day. Gotta love these food cravings. I find myself eating alone these days as my DH and 2 DDs can't stomach to watch me induldge in dipping my french fries in balsalmic vinegar
