Steph2~ Hang in there! Maybe today will bring some good news. The IVF road is a hard one to travel, no doubt. We will all be praying for you.

rslzk~ I know what you mean about the occasional cramping, and twinging, and though I don't have the itchy nipples, I did thoroughly enjoy a scrambled egg breakfast with 8 sour pickle wedges on the side
I thought my DD was going to vomit on me!!!

Steph:
Hoping your e2 levels are ok, and you don't have to cancel...

rslz: great 2nd beta...solid!

already blessed: so funny about your breakfast.

An update on me...I had my FET yesterday. WE thawed 8 3 day embies. Four made the thaw. We transferred 1 8 cell, 1 6 cell and 2 4 cells. Not much hope for the 4 cells. I just rested yesterday in the bed. I did cancel the AP, I guess it just wasn't for me.

I am so excited to be in the 2WW! I know it will be hard, but I am just so hopefull!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to see so much action on our #2 thread- I feel like I started it so long ago with high hopes for lots of #2s and now I see that at least a couple of you gals got bfp- congratulations!!!!! That's great news!

I have been trying to stay off the boards more or I will just keep obsessing about the chance of us maybe doing IVF again and we may never do it again. But I will still check in here sometimes cuz I'm hoping the best for everyone!

Yellow- I am so very sorry about your news. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Again, good luck to all the gals in the 2ww and to all the bfp gals and just to all the #2 gals!!!!

Laura :)

Hi All

Gosh there is so much going on it is hard to keep up. We should try and update Yellow's summary of where everyone is at. I'll try later when have bit more time. I haven't got a handle on where everyone is at yet - sorry.

Yellow - I'm just so very very and really deeply sorry. This is just SOOO hard. The hope and the huge hill we have to climb, and then the worst is just coming so very very close and then having it taken away.

I think despite the attempts that haven't worked, there is hope for as long as you have the determination that this is still the right path for you - easy to say - when I am petrified too that it might never work again no matter how many cycles we chose to go through. Wish you all the best in next decisions.

So good to see some really really good news balancing this out though. To all those with BFP - CONGRATULATIONS! It gives us all some more hope to cling too!!

I got my AF today and was pretty tempted to phone the clinic to get started - lots of will power to actually leave it another month, at least things are on track and AF is on schedule with when my re said I should expect it (pretty much to the exact day!!)

Best to all

Hello girls

so much going on ....took me ages to catch up with everyone but it is great to have a network like this.

Yellow - am so sad for you. I get so angry with ivf and it just feels so unfair to lose a pregnancy from ivf. Big hugs to you from me.

Kimmysq - great to hear that your fet went well. How you keeping? I am going absolutely nuts so sorry I can offer no advice on how to stay calm during the 2ww.

Steph2 - am so sorry that your transfer is in limbo. Am praying that things go good on saturday.

Laura - I know what you mean about being addicted to these boards ......I am totally. I hope that you come to the right decision for you and your family.

Melo - great to hear from you. My two cent worth, enjoy the time before the ivf and get as fit and emotionally prepared as you can. I have done 3 fets and in the middle of the 2ww for freah ivf in the past 15 months and it was way too much. I really found this cycle very very hard and deep down I know that it was because I just jumped into each cycle out of sheer panic. I simply could not believe that I didn't get pregnant after the 1st fet when I got pregnant from ivf with my dd.

Rizysk - fantastic beta numbers. I am very happy for you.

Alreadyblessed - all those +hpts are looking good. I adore the way that you told your husband your good news.

Suzhan -My apologies for not telling you how sorry I am about your mc in my first mail to you. I was catching up with everyone and missed out on your sad news. hope you ok on the spray & bcp. I find that stage of the ivf a bit tough cos of the headaches but this time I drank loads and loads of water and it made a huge difference ......I am talking about 4 litres a day. When I felt the foggy head.....I just downed a big glass of water. Congrats on your recent bday as well .......I am the big 40 in October.

As for me. I am almost 4 days after my transfer and feeling really desperate to be pregnant! I think because my husband and I feel that this may be our last decent shot. We got 2 blasts for transfer but no frosties.
I had cramping after the transfer and I have this heavy feeling in the pit of the tummy as if I am getting a period - just seeems to be there all the time which I think is a bad sign but probably just the progestrone. I am taking it really easy - more or less bedrest with a wander around the house every so often. I need to calm myself down...........so I am going to try and get stuck into a big book today.

Big hugs to all the number 2 girls!

Thanks for all the kind words. It really does make it better to have contact with so many who know what this feels like. I have not yet had any bleeding or cramping to speak of. I'm worried that I may need a D&C or something. I just want this part to be over.

We have more frosties and we will try again, but I think I need to take a little break from all this -- enjoy my new house and my family.

I'll post an updated list soon.

Good luck to all of you! Lots more BFPs!

Yellow- I just want to say how sorry I am, I went through 2 miscarriages within the last year, it is a horrible feeling and my first one took almost 2 weeks before the cramping and bleeding started, just before we were going to make an appointment for a D&C. We are now trying for a FET and got our hopes up and looks like we may have to wait for another cycle. This IVF stuff can really stress you out, so enjoy your house and your family wishing you all the best.

Hi everyone

A quick mail to say that I did a hpt on saturday 12p5d and got a BFP. I have to phone the clinic tomorrow. I live in Ireland and they don't do betas here. I think I just have to keep doing weekly hpt and then go for a ultrasound around week 7.

We are very happy .....but low key happy...taking it day by day. Please God all will go ok for us.

Hope you are all well. I'll keep in touch with updates.

Wonderful news and so glad you found this thread to let us know. Please keep us posted on the ultrasound - this is fantastic!

just a quick update - I'm on day 8 of stims and went for my second ultrasound today. Only 8 follies that are measuring in the good range (14-15 mm + a few more that they think are too small.) So, that's a lot fewer than I've had in past cycles, but I figure I was 2 years younger then, so my RE says I should be really happy with 8 good follies at 40 years old. They're guessing trigger will be Tuesday night and retrieval on Thursday. I go for acupuncture on Tuesday night too.....

Again, congrat's Joyanna!
