IVF Nurse, Ghost, or anyone!!!

I am currently 7dp3dt. I had some spotting this morning. Not heavy just enough to see when I wipe (Sorry TMI). Should I be concerned at this point? Could it be implantation? It is not time for my period to start yet. Anyone else experience this? Any glimmer of hope would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Hi Lukesmom ~

I agree with Kimmy that it could be implantation bleeding. I also spotted a couple of times during my 2WW and am preggers. How do you feel? Do you have any kind of symptoms?

I have had dull cramping since embryo transfer. I have kinda full feeling breasts, a little tender sometimes. A few times in the last few days I have experienced nausea, but no vomiting. Also, my lower back hurts off and on. I see that you are pregnant with twins. What symptoms did you experience?

Hi Lukesmom ~

I felt like I had symptoms almost from the beginning! I had very sore nipples, achy boobs, nausau (especially at night), felt like my crotch was falling out (which is the best way I can describe the heaviness feeling!), and fatigue. I actually mentally felt pregnant (don't know if it was wishful thinking or the real deal!). I know that how I was feeling I had never experienced before!

I'd say you are on the way to a BFP! Keep those positive thoughts going, it will only help!

BTW, how many embies did you transfer, # cell, etc? I transfered 2 8 celled 3 day embies who looked perfect in the picture!

Thanks Jen for your replies. My boobs are not exactly sore just on occasion I get like shooting pains in them. My belly feels just like I am going to start my period though. I transfered 2 perfect 8 cell embies! I had a faint positive pregnancy test this morning!! I hoping for an outcome like yours. Two for the price of one...LOL

Def a good sign with the faint pos! Most of my pts swear they are getting their period and voila....their pregnant. The progesterone causes cramping plus your ovaries are still enlarged. And yes, spotting is very common. About 70-80% of women spot during the first trimester.

Yippie Lukesmom!!!!!! Congrats to you! That is awesome!!! Are you going to test again tomorrow to see if the line gets darker? Am so happy for you! Keep me posted!
