Hoping- I have been taking Lupron since Wednesday. My RE keeps me on Lupron until the trigger shot. I start the other feritility meds on 8/11. My RE doesn't do a u/s until 7 weeks because the sac would be too small to see until then.
Rosario- 14 Follies is awesome.. I hope all of them have eggs. Keeping fingers crossed for you.
JDC- 2 fert. eggs is a great sign. I hope they will both be able to transfer.
Valerie - Hoping everything went ok w/the BW and U/S.
Nothing else new here. I can't wait to start taking the fertility meds, makes it seem much closer. Only about 3 weeks to go until the ER.

Can anyone help ..... I am on my first cycle of IVF, I had the nasal spray for 4 weeks but when I went for my baseline scan my lining was too thick and I was given progesterone to restart my cycle and buserelin injections to downregulate. After 2 weeks I went for another scan and although I had bled the lining was still too thick and I have been given another course of porgesterone and continue with the injections. Has this happened to anyone else .. I am getting really worried!!!

Hey all,
I had my first shot this morning! Thanks for all your advice and encouragment! I couldn't just "stab" the needle in, so I have to admit I slid it in slowly. I was releived that I didn't feel the needle at all. I did take advice and push the plunger slowly. Hopefully I won't have any tenderness or bruising.
Those of you already at this phase...can you tell me what's next? My clinic has me coming back in after 5 days for another ultrasound. Then what? Did any of you change meds or add meds at that point?

Welcome loistheliar. I'm sorry you're having so much trouble with your lining and I don't know what to tell you about it. I've read many posts but never read anything regarding that. I would suggest that you post a subject and address it to Ghost and/or IVFnurse. They're on the board, Ghost is a researcher for IVF meds and the nurse is exactly that. They are the one who could answer your question the best. They're wonderful and so helpful. Good luck!
jenolina~ Congrats on your first injection! If you didn't feel the needle going in, then you're doing great! Next step is bloodwork (BW) and ultrasound (US) to check your E2 number and on the US to see the development of your follies. Depending on those results, they either keep you at the same dose or increase it. Once in a while, I've seen them decrease it. Now, it's just a waiting game. As you progress, the BW and US become much more frequent as they like to monitor you. Those are the things you'll be doing for the next few days.
I hope you're feeling good and have lots of PMA. Let us know how you're progressing.

Hello ladies!!! Sorry I haven't posted in a couple days. I've been keeping myself busy during my 2ww. I had a baby shower for my brother and SIL yesterday, then a birthday party for my DH's 30th birthday!! And then me and DH ended up taking a nice and much needed nap today! Now to get caught up with all of you!! So after I catch up with the couple pages I've missed, I will send more personals!!!
valerie: Thanks for checking on me. I'm getting through the 2ww nicely. I'm not really having any symptoms this time around other than being tired. But I do feel different this cycle, but I'm not sure how to describe it. I just feel so much more calm, and positive this cycle!! Congrats on your last BCP!! Getting closer!

Hi everyone! I go for my transfer tomorrow....(3day). I did not here anything today, but they said no news is good news. Everytime my phone rang my heart skipped a beat. I have AP scheduled for 5:30pm tomorrow after transfer. I'm ready for my miracle to happen.

valerie: I didn't really have symptoms with my 1st pregnancy until after I found out I was pregnant, and I found out I was pregnant because I missed my period. So I keep telling myself that no symptoms doesn't mean anything. And the only symptom I ever had with my first was heartburn! I do feel positive about this cycle though. I think I may cave and begin POAS tomorrow morning, and then Wed, then Thurs!!!
And then my beta is Friday!!

Had my last ultrasound today. Had 17 follicles. 5 are >18mm and another 6 are >15mm. I will trigger tonight at 8pm and go in Wednesday at 8am for ER. That should give me at least 10 mature eggs by then, maybe more if the smallish ones grow.

From there the Doctor will decide what is the best process for your situation. I am in the middle of my third cycle now and will be more than willing to answer any questions you have.
