The last I heard (on another site), she'd had 3 lots of gel and it had had no effect so there's a possibility she was having a caesarean today.

Oh dear, poor Shell is having a time of it. Her latest update is:

"I have now had 4 gels and nothing happening.
I am only 1cm-2cm dilated.
They are going 2 try and break my waters tomorrow if no joy will have a C section inducing failed "

Poor shell. I'm sure the long wait will be worth it.
Hope shes doing ok though - cant wait to hear the news.

Poor Shell

I feel so guilty now being glad? I can try and catchup on postings - plse take care Shell and hope you are not all gelled out and the C Section goes well

Hope it all turns out well in the end. 4 lots of gel :shock: Blimey!!

Good Luck if you end up with a c section and we are all waiting with baited breath.

hey i know I am new to this and ignorant in any way but what are 4 lots of gel? Michelle, i am also keeping my fingers crossed for you, i hope so much it has already happened! it must be the perfect baby wanting to stay for so long!

:shock: Sounds familiar what Shell is going through. We must have lazy babies!!

I'm sure she's fine and if she's had a c-section she may be in hospital a few days, so probably won't have an opportunity to get to a pc.

Here's hoping we'll hear some news soon,
