The nurse just called me to say that the pregnancy test was positive. However, it's on the very low end. My BETA was only 6 (she said a 5 or lower is considered negative) and I need to go back Wednesday to see if it doubled. They said they have seen some miracles at their office and to rest the next couple of days. I have totally mixed feelings about all this!!!!! Now it's back to more waiting! :x

Hi Tortillachip:

My heart truly goes out to you as your news was very reminiscent of what happened to me last cycle. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers and hope that your little embie keeps growing! Don't lose faith as it could happen, but I'm sure two more days of waiting is going to be extremely difficult.

Hi Tortillachip

In my last cycle, I tested positive on all of the HPTs that I took, then they called me and told me that my beta was positive, but it was too low to last. If I remember correctly, it came in at 6. So they had me stop all meds and injections and wait for the m/c to occur. They didn't have me come back in to re-check my beta, so I think it is a good sign that they want you to do that! :D

This was the first and only time in my life that I actually was pregnant, so I did take that as a positive--that I actually could achieve a pregnancy. However, the sadness, loss and disappointment was totally real for both my DH and I. I truly hope that you will not follow in my footsteps.

I'm sending lots of PMA your way!!! And, know that I am here for you if the unspeakable happens.

Elisabeth

tortilla - did you do a 3 day or 5 day? maybe the embries just need an extra 2 days especially if they are 3 dayers. Nothing with my cycles ever seems to go according to the "normal schedule" -did you use hpts also? Hang in there. We are all rooting for you.

Elizabethski and Kim: Thanks for all your encouraging words. I too am happy that my body is able to get pregnant. My BETA was today, 11 days post 3 day embryo transfer. All my home pregnancy tests were negative. The doc wants me to continue taking my medication and come back Wednesday morning to check the levels.

I'm hoping that it doubles but I also don't want it to take if it is not suppose to. I just want a healthy pregnancy.

Tortilla, lead the way for me girlie! I tested bfn today, 9dp3dt... and feel hopeless.

There are a TON of stories of betas starting off low and ending in a healthy pg. I have a friend who is a surro and had a beta of 13 at day 16. She is now waiting (not so patiently) to deliver.

I will be praying that your beta skyrockets! Hang in there.

ndgo82: I didn't forget you- I'll take all the prayers I can get and I appreciate your caring. I'm going to try to keep positive. :)

onemorebaby: I'm sorry about the HPT. It was a HPT wasn't it? I don't think you'd have your BETA that early, right? Thanks so much for sharing the story of your friend. It helped me more than you know and gave me that glimmer of hope. Thank you!

dcdiva - Congratulation!!!! Dun think its a false alarm. Have faith!! You give me such a wonderful news to brighten my gloomy day.

emfossum - Wow!!! 13 eggs thats wonderful! Now pray that all eggs can be fertilized.

Sorry for not updating myself. I have been in a very down mood these few days and full of sorrow due to my unresolve family problem. My mother has been calling me everyday crying her heart out and Im worried for her. Really want to go and slap my unfilial bro and his wife. Feel so frustrated, helpless and sad. I just dunno why I can't stop my tears. I know I shouldn't be emotional especially when I am currently going thru 2ww. My the other sis-in-law keep telling me to pray and to calm down. If the embies can go thru this difficult moment, that means the embies are strong one. Really hope God can solve my problems. I feel so helpless and feel my energy drain. So many worries now in my mind. Keep trying to psycho myself that everything is going to be alrite and be positive all the time. Thank God my DH is very supportive and always be there for me. I dunno what I will do without him and also my best fren who has been praying for me when she herself suffered from cancer. Thank God also I have you all to share my worries. Sorry for writing such along message, I feel much better now. I just need to pour out my pain. Thank you for listening to me.
