Hi:

I am doing IVF. I finish my Lupron yesterday and am now on Cetrotide ans will start Gonal F 750 units on the 12th. My ER is estimated to be around the 23rd or so. Guess this baseline they want to see the lining thickness and my E2 whcih I dont know what they are suppose to be so I am guessing I am in for a crash course tomorrow. Ill let you know how it went.

Thanks for welcoming me.

JDC - How did it go today? Hope you are doing good.

Much Hope
- Welcome. I am also doing cetrotide tomorrow. I don't start Lupron until Thurs. One thing you will find out that everyone has a different protocol. With the baseline they are checking out the lining and to see any antral follicles. They also want your E2 to be a low number. Good luck!!

Jharris
- Wow, I can't believe you had the will power to hold off POAS this long!! I'm proud of you. I can't wait to hear your news!!

alimoyni - Sounds like a great number of follies!! That is great that you get to trigger. Good luck on Wed.!! :)

Well, I went in for an u/s today. NO CYSTS!!!! Woo hooo!!! :D:D I am so happy. I am prone to cysts so I was surprised that I didn't have one. So I take my cetrotide shot tomorrow and go back in for baseline and b/w on Thurs. If everything looks good then I will start microdose Lupron on Thur. and start Gonal-F on Fri. :D

Hope everyone else is doing great.

Good evening ladies,

Welcome Much Hope~ What they will be looking for is a good FSH number, something like an 7 or 8, 9. I'm at 10 which is neither good nor real bad.
The E2 number could probably be around 40 or 50.
I wish you luck tomorrow with all the tests. As you start the stims, you will have to go in the office more and more often to monitor your E2 numbers and how your follies are growing.
Since you took Lupron, maybe your E2 numbers might be different. I'm not taking Lupron at all, so I'm not entirely sure how that works.

Ask all the questions you need and we'll be glad to answer them. This is a great group of women and we are all here to support and help each other!

Turtles~ That GREAT news that you don't have any cysts and that the cycle seems to be rolling!! I'm so happy for you and wish you the best!

JDC~ How did ET go today? You must be taking it easy already. Thinking about you!

Alimoyni~ Great follies report there!! Trigger night is always a relief...you know it's happening!

Otherwise the board seems very quiet!!!
Babycrazy? How are you doing?

ndgo~ How did ET go for you? You're now PUPO and wishing you the best. Try to stay calm and relaxed and tell these little embies to get comfy because they're going to make that their home for the next 9 months!

hopinginpa~ Have you POAS yet? How are you feeling?

I'd love to hear from all of you...in the meantime, I'm sending all of you tons of babydust!!

Hi ladies and thank you for such a warm welcome, I am so thankful that I have come across such a wonderful bunch of women whom to share this journey with. My FSH was 8.4 and estrodol on day 3 before starting BCP was 69 whcih my RE said indicated it was a true FSH and he was very pleased with it.

I am so positive about this entire process that I know in my heart and with the grace of god that this dream of starting a family with my new husband is just a matter of hope and faith and good sciene :)

My ears are always opened if anyone needs to talk, I find it so much easier to talk to people whom are going through the same thing as you. Explaining how youfeel to someone that has no idea is just exhausting to say the least.

I will let you know what the outcome is tomorrow. Have a great evening ladies

Hi guys....just a real quick post to give an update on my transfer ( I will do personals later hopefully!) I had 2 embryos transferred yesterday...the RE said "fair" quality. They were 8 and 9 cell, but the one was quite fragmented. I'm trying so hard to keep up my PMA, but finding it difficult right now. I think the PIO is making me moody, and often I feel on the verge of tears. I know there is still a chance for my embies to stick, why don't I feel it? My clinic gives pictures of our embryos...it is very cool to see.

Hope everyone has a wonderfull day, and I will catch up later!

JDC~ Don't let go of that PMA!!! And eat some pineapple, especially the core!! I'm already buying them and plan to start eating them before transfer. They're one of my very favorite fruit and they sure can't hurt!
Even if the embies are fragmented, they still have a chance of implanting and growing into a healthy baby!! I've read from other girls that they went on to have a healthy pregnancy. Do your AP, have good thoughts and feelings and I'm pulling for you all the way! :D :D

I won't be able to do much writing today as we have a family funeral to attend today.

My period is slow to start but saw a little tinge of blood today. Maybe it's a good thing that it's starting late so that I will be more in synch with my endometrium ...everything happens for a reason, right?
My meds should arrive today and I hope it won't generate any questions from my BIL as he's staying with us till tomorrow. I'll have to think of a little white lie!

SueQiwi~ Have yourself a wonderful holiday and I'm glad you'll be able to stay in touch with us! Take in some relaxation for me too!

Rosario and Alimoyni~ Best of luck again to both of you on ER and have lots of eggs in those follies...fingers and toes crossed for your fertilization!

Biddy~ Welcome to our group..those are more than good E2 numbers for day 5! How many follies do you have growing in there?
Best of luck on your stims!!

Well, I better go...lots of good wishes to the other girls and I don't think I'll be able to post until my BIL goes back home!
Have a fabulous day!

Hey Girls!

Have got my step-daughter again so can't be too long. She is watching tv at the moment so if I am quick I can hopefully do personals!

JDC - keep that PMA going. There is no reason why the embies won't/can't stick and you did say that only one is fragmented, that still leaves one good one. I also had slow growing embies last year but got a BFP so hang in there :D

SueQiwi - enjoy your holiday and take time to relax before your tmt starts

Rosario & Alimoyni - good luck with your ER - I'm sure there will be plenty of eggs!

JHarris - how are you hanging in there? I read your other post and saw that you POAS and got a negative. There was someone on here that did a preg test at home on the day she should and got a -ve but her beta came up positive and her first scan showed twins. Keep the PMA going

Biddy & Much Hope - welcome aboard! Hope your tmt's all go smoothly and like the others said ask away if there are any questions

Turtles - great news on there being no cysts, that must put your mind at ease a little bit?

Val - have you thought up a little white lie yet for your BIL if he spots your meds?

Hopinginpa - how you doing?

Hope anyone I've missed is doing ok?

As for me I have been having these weird ovulation type pains and now very mild AF type ones as well. Is starting to freak me out that my meds are not doing what they should be and that things are going to go wrong!! I go tomorrow to pick up my drugs and I think I am going to ask and see what they say.

A colleague of mine also gave birth yesterday, she has had the longest & worst pregnancy in the world!!! Honestly she doesn't realise how lucky she has been, fell pregnant the first mth of trying, hardly put on any weight and had her daughter the day she was due!! It made me cry when I found out (think I was having a 'down day' :( ) and it hit me hard that I may never be able to experience what she has. However, today I feel better and am trying to stay positive that it is just a question of time before I am pregnant (3wks until estimated ET) - so that is what I am doing.

Time to entertain my step-daughter again, so will catch you later

Good afternoon ladies! I just realized I haven't posted to you all today!! My mind is everywhere! I can't keep my focus for very long! As some of you may have read on one of my other posts, I POAS this morning. I am 11dp3dt, and got a BFN. :? But I used a digital test, and it looks like they may not be quite as sensitive as the others. So I went out and bought me some new ones, that I plan to use again tomorrow morning. I haven't given up hope. I was crushed this morning seeing the big NO, but I'm better now, and know that it's coming!! :D

Much Hope, Biddy : Welcome to the group. These ladies are a fantastic support group! And can answer just about any question you might have. Good luck!

turtles: It is so good to hear from you! That is awesome that you don't have any cysts to get in the way! Sounds like you are on your way now!

valerie: Is it still sauna weather down there? I'm sorry you will be attending a funeral. Have you thought about what to tell your BIL yet?

Rosario: Congrats on triggering!! Best of luck on ER tomorrow!

SueQiwi: Thank you so much. I hope you enjoy your holiday!!

JDC: Congrats on those 2 embies! I'm sure they are already getting cozy back where they belong!

kate21: Thanks for checking on me. You aer the one that made me realize I didn't post here, too, so thank you!! :D Sounds like your colleague is a very rare case! Try to think positive about it though. Enjoy your step-daughter!!

I'm sure I have missed someone, but like I said, during this 2ww, my mind is so scattered! Baby dust to you all!!

hopinginpa - GOOD LUCK on your BETA tomorrow. Have you poas yet?

JHarris - I am keeping my fingers crossed that you get a BFP.

Much Hope and Biddy - Welcome to the board.

Turtles - Yey, you get to start stimming. I can't wait till I get to start in a few days.

JDC - Congrats on being PUPO. When is your beta?

Rosario and Alimoyni - Congrats on making it to ER, I hope you both get lots of good eggs.

ndgo - How did ET go? When is your beta?

bell-02 - I haven't seen you post in a while. Where are you at on your cycle?

KAS101 - are you stimming yet? Hope you get lots of good follies.

Karen and MzTia - I hope you both are doing well.

For me I take my last BCP tomorrow. YEAH!!!!! Hopefully AF will be here in a few days and I can start stims at the beginning of next week. I am trying to do the PMA thing so as I type my little brother is painting my spare bedroom which will be the nursery. I am having him paint it a light green color because my future child will have frogs or turtles in his/her nursery. I was all for frogs but DH said that if it was a boy then we had to do turtles. I don't know why he thinks he actually has a say in the matter. Well, hope everyone has a good day.
