Hommy - I am so sorry sending you hugs - the baby will be just fine - many people have suffered traggic things during pregnancies and went on to have healthy babies

Tortilla - i agree with hommy - your beta sounds early - mine is 18 days post er.

One more baby - I agree with hommy - when is your beta. I think Hpts work best 2-3 days before your beta.

Oh, those nasty HPT's!!! I think they are getting the better of a lot of us! I broke down and took one this morning and got a BFN. I did a 3 day transfer on 7/25, so I guess that makes me 11dp3dt. My official beta is Friday. I have to keep telling myself that it may just be too early. It hurt this morning seeing that digital NO on the screen though. But I have 2 more, and an official beta Friday! I'm not giving up hope, but it did put that little bit of doubt in my head. :?

tortilla: It does seem like they did your beta kind of early. My clinic does ours 14 days past transfer. So hold on to that hope!!

onemorebaby: I know exactly how you feel. You were talking HPT right? Those things are evil! I think you probably tested too early.

hommy: I am so sorry to hear that things are still so hectic for you right now. I am sure that all of this stuff will work itself out. Stay strong for that little baby growing inside!

How is everyone else hanging in there during this 2ww?? Thank goodness it's almost over!!

tortilla - My thoughts are with you. Have you considered that maybe the pio might part of the issue. I hear from so many that it may cause depression. I know if is good for our lining, and baby support, but it also has a down side. I am not sure if you are taking this. It doesn't help when even seems to pile up. Just hang in there and you will get some answers real soon. Wishing you the best.

One more baby- I agree that you shouldn't lose hope. It seems too early for a test. Hang in there...

Hi everyone,
My fert report is in:
Out of 13 eggs, they were able to perform ICSI on 11, (2 were abnormal)
10 out of the 11 fertilized. We are pleased with the results, but think is is funny the idea of our little embies first home being a petrie dish.

They are looking at a 5DT, but will update me on Thurs. just in case there are changes to 3DT. I won't know more till Thurs. about the grade or fragmentation. I feel like I am in always some sort of a waiting stage...I suppose I better get use to it until I have a baby in my arms. (Then they become teenagers, and the waiting starts over again. Ha)

Hope everyone is doing well.

efo - congrats on the ER! Keep us posted.

Hommy - I would never have known that you were going through such pain with all the supportive posts you send to everyone! I hope things get better with your mom!

tortillachip - that sounds early so I am sure it will increase! My beta is not until 14 days p3dt.

dcdiva - congrats! I hope to be right behind you.

Just feel kinda down today. I have been so constipated so that is painful. My 3dt was last Wednesday. Trying to stay positive. If not for me, I want this so badly for my husband and my family. I want to be a mom really bad but it is no comparison to wanting to have a child for my husband. He has been so supportive and looking forward to it this time. We've been trying over 7 years. I feel like I am letting him and my family down. I have to pick myself back up because I go back to work tomorrow :)

Hi Ladies,
Figured I would check in and update, and I feel like I missed so much.
Hommy-keep hanging in there...you are strong and will be able to get through this
Tortillachip-I'm agreeing with the other girls; its seems really early to have had your beta
Sweetmomi- I can see why your screen name is sweet...keep your faith...i believe it can create miracles :)
Babyloves-I'm taking the capsules and i think it's normal to have leakage...I, too, have been using liners....I feel like I should buy stock in them :)
DCDiva-you go girl...i'm expecting positive news from you soon
EFO-good job on the er...looking forward to hearing from you
EMfossum - your numbers are great...let us know when you transfer
JHarris & Onemorebaby- it seems to early....those damn HPTs are the devil!!!
Kim14, elizabethski, NDGO82-hope all is well with you

As for me...I have officially decided NOT to HPT. I've waited this long...I can wait one more day. I cannot believe that is all I have left. I really hope this works. I believe it will, but who can be confident in saying that? I'll post tomorrow to update you...i think. God I hope I get a BFPPPPPPP!

antoak: great to hear from you again! I am proud of you for staying strong and avoiding the urge to HPT. I hope and pray that you get a wonderful beta tomorrow!!! It is so close now!

Hommy: I wish things were easier for you right now. It sounds like you have a very supportive friend and husband, so lean on them and us! We all wish you only the best.

Sweetmommi: I am sorry that the 2ww is getting you down. I understand how you feel about wanting to give your hubbie a baby. My DH wants one so badly and has been trying for children for longer than we have together! (he was married previously and they had infertility). We just have to keep thinking that it will happen for us and that we deserve to be parents!

Emfossom: That is a great fert report! It sounds to me like you will be getting a day 5 transfer, but either way, I'm sure you have a great selection to choose from.

As for me, I have continued to have spotting/some bleeding and am convinced that I have lost whatever has implanted. I called the DR's office to see if they wanted me to come in to check progesterone levels and they said "no, we will see you monday for the beta". So, I guess there is nothing that I can do but wait. I used to feel really fatigued which I was attributing to pregnancy, but now I am mentally preparing for the worse.

How's everyone else doing???

Elisabeth - i think your spotting is either implantation :-) or pio. I also have no symptoms and want to do the hpt so had but am not feeling that positive as it is and if i get a neg i know i will be crushed. Ill probably break down and test thurs am since beta is mon. Why is our clinic so long with the 18 day post transfer??

emfossum - nice job on the embries. You will defintely be a day 5 er. Welcome ot the club :-) How many will you implant?

I hope everyone else is hanging in there. hey we have the olympics soon to distract us :-) I cant believe I have another weekend before my beta!!!!!!

Good Morning Ladies,

Well, I broke down yesterday and went to the Dollar Store and purchased enough HPTs to test each day until my Beta. I know I am a bit insane to do this, but I figured, I could rationalize spending $6 for knowledge of what's going on in my body. And......there is a really faint positive line!!   Now I am wondering if I bought a branded test if the results would be the same!! But, I am trying not to get too excited about this until SG gives me a good Beta result, but at least I feel like I am still in the running!!!! YIPPEE!!!

Here's to us all getting great Beta's!! Today is the beginning of many to come!!!

Thinking of you and sending you lots of babydust, Antoak!!!

Good morning ladies!!! Hope you all are doing okay in this long 2ww??!!!

emfossum: That is an excellent fert report!! Can't wait to hear about ET!!

sweetmomi: I feel the same as you. I want this to work, but mainly because I know how much it will mean to my DH. Don't ever blame yourself though. I know he doesn't. Hope you are feeling better today?

antoak: I can't wait to hear about your beta today!! Good luck!! Baby wishes!

elisabethski: I am so glad you bought the HPT to get rid of that NMA!! A faint line is a line!! Congrats!

How is everyone else hanging in there? So many betas coming up!!

So I went and bought some new HPT's that aren't digital, peed in a cup this morning, and used 2 different brand tests this morning (I know I'm insane). But guess what, they were positive!! :D The line wasn't as dark as the control, but it was there without having to get a magnifying glass! It was very obvious! I am so excited. The DH is still cautiously excited! He is waiting to get it confirmed Friday with the beta.

Hope you all enjoy your day! And antoak, can't wait to hear from you!!

SweetMomi,

the constipation can be just awful.. The lst IVF i did i ws miserable .. I finally did an enema and it was like having a new life.. ask your Dr if its ok.. worth it from my perspective.

Also are you taking colace? it really helps

After last time i knew what i was getting into and started taking colace on T day. This time i have been fine.

Good luck.

(apologies as i dont really belong to this thread but thought i could be helpful)

Anj: Try not to lose faith yet! I understand your need to prepare for the worst, but there still is hope that you are too early and that the beta will come back in your favor! I'm thinking of you!!

Well hello ladies...
After a VERY LONG DAY (we went for the Beta at 6:30 am and didn't get a call until 3:45)...I'm PREGNANT!!!! Yeah!!! :) :) :)

My Beta was 588...not that I really know what that means, but the doctor said I was off to a very strong start. Plus, I get to stop my estraderm patches and I decrease my progesterone capsules to 1/day. I go back in a week for blood and 2 weeks for a sono. Thanks for being such a great sounding board ladies....keep the positives rolling...
off to dinner! :)
