Kyle and Brodi would just like too say a big THANK YOU for all the lovely messages they have received for you all.
Well girls it is not as bad as i though (Labour) it is just like a sore period pain but nothin you cant handle well that was before the epidural had kicked in, i had to have 2 epidurals as it only knumbed the right side off my body and i wasnt taken the pain away from my back at the left side, i went in the hospital last Monday nite to get gel at 9.45pm but they decided just to break my waters (Not sore and its like you a peeing yourself it a funny feeling) by 3am Tue morning i had epidural and by 6am my second one by 6.40am i was pushing (FOR SCOTLAND) but Brodi was getting in distress so iwas taken to theartre just incase i needed a C-Section, when i was in there i was giving some kind off spinal jag which knumbed me from neck down i couldnt feel a thing - i was told to push and Brodi arrived safely at 8.05am and then Kyle arrived safely at 8.13am
i was in the hospital until Saturday as Kyle wasnt taken his bottle that well but he is fine now and feeding alot better, where as Brodi wants fed all the time she is like her Daddy she loves her food infact as i type this she is getting fed by her daddy AGAIN!!!! Its very hard work with 2 babies as you just finish feeding 1 and the other 1 needs fed but i wouldnt change it for the world they are lovely and well worth the long wait!!!
I hope everyone is fine and i send everyone my love and thanx for all the lovely messages!!!!
Glad everything is going well with Kyle and Brodie. I am also relieved to hear that labour isn't as painful as some people make out. I suppose it depends on your pain tolorance threshold (mine is very low!).
I can imagine that feeding must be a huge part of the day with twins.
You must be so over the moon having your miracle babies home safe and sound. Well done and such lovely names too.
Its so lovely to hear you coping on a day to day basis!! It doesn't seem that long that we were comparing notes about being pg with twins and now look at you posting messages about feeding real babies!!!! How exciting.
You must keep posting little tips for us other mums of twins -to-be! Are you feeding them separately rather than trying the Karma-Sutra type positions they suggest in all the books for feeding them both together!!
Did you decided to bottle feed or are you expressing?
So many questions!!
I just can't believe you are sat at home with two babies now. It won't be long before I'm joining you - cant' wait!
Hi There
Glad to hear that you are coping so well - I can't imagine life with 2 at once - soon you probably won't remember what it was like without them!!
Take care
Zoe
I'm so pleased that things are going well for you. Looking after 1 baby is hard enough, but it must be hard with 2. I guess that things will get easier once you settle in to a routine - that's what I keep telling myself!
It's so wonderful to be holding a baby (babies in your case) in your arms isn't it? I still cann't believe that Daniel is here - it's such a miracle. I spend most of my day just staring at him!!
Glad to hear that the labour went well and that you didn't need a c-section.
Glad everyone is ok, yeah im kept really really busy but wouldnt change it for the world, Kyle crying just now daddy is seeing too him, Brodi is sleeping in my arms just now not been settling the past 2 nights so im 1 finger typing just now!!!
I have to say i had a good labour and was very glad to deliver my self, i did try and breast feed for the first day but was too much with 2 babys and i was very tired after labour so they are getting the bottle now!!!
I find the day very easy but the nights hard as thats when im tired and want too sleep and they wake then!!!
