My scheduled beta test is on 12th Aug, but I went today (8/8/08).
10dp4dt.
and my beta is 6.2 and progestrone 41.7 nmol.
I do not have any hope. Dr. told me to continue the medicines and come for another beta on 11th Aug.
I had my HCG shot on 4th August, I think the 6.2 should be from that HCG shot.
GOD - why such a pain !
Jes.
This is confusing. You say you are 10 days post transfer, so your transfer was on the 2nd. But your hCG shot was on the 4th? 2 days after transfer?
That must be hCG for luteal support, which is somewhat unusual these days. hCG promotes progesterone production by the corpus luteum, and that progesterone promotes endometrial development. Most clinics just give the progesterone directly.
Given your hCG shot was only 4 days ago, the answer is yes, a reading of 6.2 could easily be from the hCG shot. Sorry if that sounds negative, but we can't ignore a 4-day old hCG shot when interpreting an hCG level.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
