anyone going for retrieval around july 22 or close???

My second Beta (2 days after 1st) came back and it is 894. Not quite double as the first was 490. I am hoping that this is still okay because the numbers are relatively high. Has anyone else had them not double and still come out okay?

How is everyone else?

I went in this morning for my 2nd beta, and it is now 150. So it doubled, but its still not very high. But they seemed okay when they called. They also said I could finish the vial of PIO I have, and move to Prometrium 3 times a day, and I only have maybe a days worth of PIO left! So tonight may be my last shot! I go back Tuesday for my 3rd beta. Hopefully my numbers will decide to take off! Enjoy your night ladies!

I had very bad cramps yesterday at 11dp3dt, worse than ever so far. Then had some pink spotting. Now this morning at 12dp3dt I have cramping on and off. Terrified. Gonna call RE. My beta is not until Wednesday but I have gotten + when poas.

Sweetmomi - Thinking of you! Try not to worry if you can. It sounds like many women are cramping, so it sounds pretty common. I hope your RE can give you some answers.

spoke to our IVF coordinaor. she said cramping is typical. However mine is so bad, i just left work to come home to get in bed so this doesn't feel right. Trying to stay positive. POAS this morning and got another +. Still scared though.

She sad their policy is 14dp3dt so no betas before that

Hey there Ladies,

Well, it is official!!!! We are PREGO!! My first beta came in at 670!!! And, the RE says that is a really strong #, so we are over the moon with joy! I'm just praying that it will double by Wed and again by Friday. Then, next week, I will go in for an u/s to see if there are one or two little ones in there!

Thank you all for being so wonderfully supportive! I'm sending sticky vibes to all of us!!

Congratulations Elisabeth!!! That is a very strong number, did they say if you have the possibility of twins with a number that high? I'm so happy for you.

Sweetmommi: hang in there, I'm rooting for you. I had very light spotting right before I left for the wedding yesterday, talk about running to the restroom every chance I got. Anyways, I talked to the nurse today and she said 1/3 of their pregnant patients have bleeding at one time or another. I know the cramps are worrisome for you, but I'm thinking they may be from implantation. Hope you feel better soon!

ndgo, Kim, Marynaz: I'm anxious to hear your betas, hopefully we all get good numbers today!

anj: Not sure if you are still reading the posts but you are in my thoughts, stay strong. Lean on us if you need.

dcdiva: my clinic told me the numbers need to go up about 2/3, 66% every two days. Your second number is higher than 66% so I don't think you have anything to worry about.

jharris: I think provided your numbers are doubling it is ok if they aren't real high. Or, that is the impression I've gotten. Are you doing another beta soon? I am very jealous you only have/had one more night of pio. My clinic said I'll be on pio until my 9th week. Whatever it takes though, right

Hopeful: Thanks! I read up a little bit today, and it looks like my levels are typical of some pregnancies. Not all have high numbers, as long as it's doubling, which it it. I go back tomorrow for another beta. I took my last PIO, but am now on Prometrium suppositories, they aren't fun either!

sweetmomi: I am sure you are having typical pregnancy cramps. I can't imagine you getting all these +HPT's for nothing! Only a couple more days and you will get the official word!

How is everyone else doing? I go in tomorrow for my 3rd beta. Hopefully my numbers decide to jump a little higher to make me feel a little better. I know they are doubling, but they aren't quite as high as most on here. I'm still feeling good though, just curious!! Hope you all have a great day! Baby wishes!

I just found this site last week, during my 2 week wait. I retrieved on the 26th, and transfered on the 29th. I had my beta today and it was positive - BFP!!!! I am having trouble believing it is gonna stick. I guess after a year and a half of negatives with a few chemicals makes me very scared. My friends and family are so excited, and I go back in on Wed. to see how the numbers are doing. I had a beta of 746 today.

Congratulations to everyone w/ bfps and I am soooooo sorry for those who had disappointing news. I know how painful it is.

Is anyone on the patches and suppositories still after a bfp - my re said keep up the meds.

I hope it is not awful of me to join the group this late in the game. If so, let me know, and I'll scoot.

I went to doc since the pain got so bad! they did an ultrasound to look at my ovaries since I have pcos. all clear. Said uterus looked fine too although they couldn't see it too well. Told them about my 2 +hpt, and guess what? They said could be hcg. I wanted to slap the doctor because that is just not true at this point. He said their control is to do beta at 14dp3dt so they would not even do a beta if a cried or begged. Said stay out of work and off my feet unti beta on wednesday, and said no more poas. Um, yeah right. Sending hubby out for 2 more tests today, will poas tomorrow and wednesday for peace of mind. My regular RE wasn't there but i am sure he would have said the same. Oh and I asked could it be pregnancy that is ending. The doctor said we do not speculate and even if it was, there's nothing we can do. I was thinking yeah i knwo that but don't you think i need to know at this point? He said could be implantation, could be 3 embies stuck but one detaching, could be nothing. We won't know until wednesday. Can you say sick to my stomach?????

Gonna try not to worry, and keep my feet up like he said.

Hi ladies, Thanks for all of the well wishes! I am so excited that I'm finding it hard to think of anything else! Is anyone else experiencing EXTREME FATIGUE??? I can only get one or two things done in a day and then I have to come home and lie down or take a nap. Anyone else feeling this way??


Sweetmommi: You have got to be kidding me! That would really make me mad that he said it could be the hcg! Do they think we don't obsess and read about all of this stuff???!!! It sounds like you have had a really scary and frustruating day! I am really sorry for this and hoping that once you beta arrives, all the worry was for nothing. I would do exactly what you are doing and continue to test. (Although this is really coming from a HPT addict!!! I have been known to take 3 tests in one day due to symptoms! Thank God for the dollar store Hpt's!). Anyway, I am thinking of you and sending lots of warm sticky vibes to you and your embies. I really hope it is just the normal cramping that you might get in the first tri!

LauraonLongIsland: Welcome to the group and Congratulations on the HUGE beta number!!! You must be totally ecstatic! I understand your caution and I feel exactly the same. I had a chemical/m/c last time, so I am just trying to savour the moment b/c as of right now, we are prego!! Did you have a 3 or 5 day transfer? How many embies did you put in? With your high beta do you suspect twins??

Jharris: I am praying that your numbers double again so that you can relax a bit!!! I think it is a really good sign that yours doubled from the last test, so I bet you and your baby are absolutely fine!

Hopeful in SD: Fingers crossed that you get a great beta! Can't wait to hear about it!!!

Hmmm. I went to one of the Dollar Store's near my house and found them, but I had to look really really hard for them. I don't usually frequent the dollar store, so I do not know what the official name of the store is, but it definitely is a dollar store and the tests were only $1 a piece!
