Are you using donor eggs or sperm: no, we did ICSI with IVF
Protocol (meds taken): Follistim 200 1xday for 8 days; Ganirellix 1xday for 3 days
How many follicles at ER: 14 or 15
How many eggs retrieved: 9
How many eggs fertilized: 7
How many days between ER and ET: 3 days
How many and quality/rating of embryos/blasts transferred: transferred 2 3 day 8 celled perfect embies! Have 5 frosties- 3 8 celled, 1 7 cell, 1 6 cell
Symptoms or issues during 2WW: sore boobs & nips, fatigue, sharp pains in my abdomen
What day you got your BFP: POAS at 9 days past 3 day transfer; at 14 days past transfer my beta was 608
HPT before blood test:
Number of first beta: 608

Anything else you would have wanted to know before you started this process: Don't read so much on the internet- it's a very scary place and take each step of the process one day, one process at a time. Try not to obsess and stress out over the steps/process, a healthy positive attitude is a key ingredient to a BFP! Good luck girls!

1 Tube completely blocked and other taken away.

Treatments you tried before IVF: Ovulation induction and clomid tablets (this was when I had a partially blocked tube, prior to removal with 2nd ectopic.

How many IVF did you do before success: It worked 2nd time, my son is 3.5 yrs old now

Are you using donor eggs or sperm: No

Protocol (meds taken): Norestine tablets, Bureslin spray and Menopur injections. (excuse spelling)

How many follicles at ER: I think it was 6 or 7

How many eggs retrieved: 4

How many eggs fertilized: 2

How many days between ER and ET: 3 day transfer, so 1 day between

How many and quality/rating of embryos/blasts transferred: 2 embies transferred and i think they were B/C quality

Symptoms or issues during 2WW: In the second week I had non stop stomach cramps like period pains

What day you got your BFP: I took a HPT test 14 days after the transfer

HPT before blood test: N/A
Number of first beta: N/A At my clinic in the Uk, they don't do routine Beta testing.

Number of babies: 1

Anything else you would have wanted to know before you started this process:No I don't think so. You really do have to take it a step at a time and be joyus for each hurdle you get over. Too much information can be bad sometimes as you become so over obsessed and worry so much. I have just had a failed IVF (my 3rd IVF in total) and am starting my 4th attempt next week. I am lucky to have my son but desperately want a sibling for him, so fingers crossed. Baby dust to you all x
