Next steps after failed FET

Post by kerpupples »

I just got a BFN on a FET. We have 6 frosties left. Can I try again next month or does there need to be a waiting period?

Anyone have any experience moving their frosties to a new clinic? Ours are 3 day embies. I want to go to a clinic that transfers blasts but I don't think they'd try to grow our current frosties to blasts, would they? We may just transfer all the viable frosties at the current clinic before moving on.

Sure you can try again right away! Sorry to hear about your BFN.
I am an infertility nurse and I work in a major IVF facility. I am willing to answer questions and give guidance, however, since I am not treating you, only your physician can give you the most accurate information.

You can start right away...I did! I asked them to change the meds slightly, which they did. Also, I asked them if they would grow my frozen 3 day embies to blast, which said they wouldn't recommend. They felt that once you thaw the best place for embies is in the body. I too, wish I had blasts, but I didn't.

Most wait a month or two, but there's no need to.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

We had to transfer to another clinic to be allowed to start right away. We did transfer our embryos and, reportedly, it went very smoothly.

Thanks everyone!

I lost 6 months to a miscarriage and then not getting a period for 3 months after the miscarriage so I don't think I want to wait out another month this time.

Kimmy, I'm nearly certain my current clinic will not grow my 3 days to blasts. They are all currently only 4-6 cells so I'm honestly not sure another clinic would either.

Xo (cool handle) - excellent!
