Bad News...Aunt Flo is punctual as usual!

Post by SQUEW »

Hi Guys

Just to let you all know that af decided to pay me a visit bang on time yesterday morning  . Didnt post yesterday as there was SO much negativity I didnt want to add to it. Anyway I had a few tears but am not taking it no where near as badly as my last two -ves. :(
I will be going for a full cycle in March/April so fingers crossed for that one. My follow up is next Tues and am gonna ask if I should have any tests etc as to why the embies dont stick. I am a bit in the dark as to what tests can be done so any advice from those who have been there would be good!?
Dh and I have decided that this really must be THE year we just 'go for it' as I will be 40 in 18months, so I will be on this site until then and I REALLY hope that I can be a lucky girl and get to the other side.
Good luck to all my fellow JCBs that are yet to test, am keeping everything crossed for you.

sue, i'm sorry it didn't happen this time.
i'm not sure what tests can be done for implantation issues but i'm sure someone here will know. what i do know is that adequate blood flows to the uterus is really important. some clinics prescribe viagra after et as it is believed to improve implantation rates, which must be to do with increased blood flow. also, chinese meds and accupuncture will focus on this area too.

best wishes with your follow up. i hope you get some answers.

Hi Sue - sorry to hear it didn't work out for your this time. Someone I work with went to her consultant after 2 failed FETs and they recommended that she start to take viagra and aspirin before her next FET (she is nearly 40 as well).

I'll be starting again in March/April - so hopefully we can cycle together.

Good luck with your followup

Love and hugs

Hi Sue
So sorry your cycle didn't work I know how much you wanted this and I feel for you. I'm so glad to see how positive you are about the next cycle and hopefully the tests will show something that they can work on. I have heard the L-arginine can help with implantation.
Thinking of you
Big hugs

Oh Sue

I am so sorry to read your news :( Why can life be so $hit? It's good that you are remaining positive and not giving up hope.

Spend some quality time with your DH and have a stiff drink. I hope you get all the answers to your questions at your follow up.

Take care Sue

Love and big HUG's

Hi Sue

So sorry honey - what a bummer this is - this malarky is enough to send us all insane.

I hope that you and DH pamaper yourselves this weekend.

I have had a few tests, such as thyroid, antiphospholipid antibodies, chromosone etc, so maybe ask your consultant about those.

If you need any more info, just let me know.

Thinking of you.

Helen.

Hi Sue
I'm so sorry that this go wasn't your turn....but you have an amazing attitude and sound really strong. I have been thinking about exactly the same thing as to why the embies don't stick and the one thing that I have heard that some clinics now use, don't laugh, is viagra. I don't know any more than that but I will definitely be looking into it if this turn doesn't follow through. Apparently Dr. Taransini at the ARCG has something about it on the their site. I'm thinking of changing clinics possibly and really like the sound and statistics of this clinic.
Thank you so much for asking Traci to light 2 candles for me, that really is so sweet, I still feel completely in limbo and just wish now that I knew either way.
Sending you loads of love and great w/e.
