hi guys,

I know i have been quiet. I have done two HPT both BFN...

Also my estrogen levels fell which i dont think is a good sign..

Beta is tomorrow...i dont have much hope..

I am already researching other Drs and have a consultation with a DR Sher Friday. If anyone has any feedback on him or his clinics i would love to hear.

I am only 40.5 so am going to be commited to this a little longer..

I got pregnant when i was younger now that i want it so badly why is this happening to me.

Hi ladies - Thinking about everyone.

Thanks for sharing the pics. I think they are beautiful. :)
My clinic didn't give us a pic. I suppose I will have to wait till my US.
We did get to see them...so that was good.

Rosario - Generally in a natural pregnancy the embies implant on days 6-10. The earlier the better, and there are studies that indicate that late implantation has a higher risk of MC. In your case since you transferred at 4 days they will probably implant anywhere in the next two days to
maybe 6 more days. So it is best to take it easy this next week.

Tris - That is a great fert report!!! I will be thinking of you on Thurs. I am glad you were able to get a 5 dt. I asked my RE about how many cells the embies have on day 5 and it looks like there were from 70-100. Crazy huh!

Kerpupples and Marynaz - I am praying that you get great news today and have super high betas!

Biddy - Your fert report is great. So have you decided yet how many to transfer? Some people gave me grief for transferring 4, but I don't think they understand how much age plays a role in how good the chromosomes are. This can't be determined from the cell division or even if they make it to blast. There are two tests that some clinics perform that help with the genetic viability of the embryos, but we elected not to perform these tests. They discuss one of the methods on another thread called 'over 40', it really is interesting.

Sorry I didn't get to everyone today. I need to lie down because I am exhausted. Thinking about all ofyou and wishing you all the best. Lots of love and good energy your way!!

NY4thtry - Hi, we must have been posting at the same time. What was your estrogen level? It is okay if it drops, but I think they want to keep it from dropping below 1500. Are you using Vivelle or other estrogen for post transfer? All I can say is that miracles happen all the time and then there is that whole ...not over until the fat lady thing...so hang in there until your beta. So many women have babies well beyond 40, so you have time. I need to refresh my memory about your protocol, and if you were able to get some frosties. I wish I knew more about Dr. Sher...I have heard of him, but I don't have any info. Take care and know that we are here to listen, but let's hope that we are celebrating.

Official BFN here. :(

I'm so mad at my clinic I could spit. I just had to call them for the results! WTF!!!!! They said my chart was on my RE's desk and the door was closed so they didn't want to go in to get it. Well whoever put it there needed to call me! If there were any advantage to switching clinics before another FET I think we'd do it, but I understand the freezing process is a big factor in FET. I think we'll thaw the rest of our 6 frosties next round and have them but every viable one back. If that doesn't work, we're moving on.

I'll be watching and sending baby dust to the rest of you!

Hi Kerpupples - I completely understand your frustration with your clinic. I am so sorry to hear your news :(. I was hoping your HTPs were just wrong! Since you have so many frosties are you considering moving them to another clinic? I am not sure of your clinics thawing process, and it sounds like you were able to get some good ones thawed in the past, but maybe you might want to consider CCRM. They use FLC labs for their freezing and thawing and are suppose to be state of the art. My nurse calls me every day and my RE even called once to see how I was doing. I really feel like they are looking out for me. It is a comforting feeling, but the big question won't be answered until the 18th. I will be thinking of you...tonight maybe you should have that long waiting glass or two of wine, and take some time for you and your DH. Your time will be here soon. We should try to keep in touch and when all this works out we can take the babies out somewhere in Boulder.

Elizabeth - our plan was to go to CCRM for our next fresh cycle. I think I'll call them tomorrow and see what they say about transferring my existing frosties.

I'll be watching for your BFP! I really hope it goes well for you. I think you're right in that CCRM is on the more expensive side. They can charge it based on their reputation! We're very fortunate in that my insurance pays for all but about $200 out-of-pocket for each cycle (my company is based in MA where fertility coverage is required by law). I don't know how people do this all out-of-pocket!

I'll take you up on that glass of wine this evening! :) DH and I have some...er...things to take care of too.

Hello Ladies, how is everyone going? I have been slacking, and have not have much free time to get on here to check on everyone. I guess it is actually a good thing I am staying somewhat busy. I still think about it constantly and I am not sure if I can actually hold out until Sunday before testing. I figure maybe Friday?? What do you ladies think? Am I the only one this anxious, or am I the first to admit? :D

I am so happy to see the BFPs and hope it rubs off on the rest of us in the 2WW and the ones joining us soon...

NY4thtry- I am glad to hear that you are not giving up! I went into this thinking that we only have one shot. Mostly because of the finances, and combine that with age...well one shot was as far ahead as we could look. So happy you are so strong.

Biddy,tris22,ronnie, sha1, rosario, alimoyni, truebeliever, hopefulinva - thinking about all of you and when I get back home tonight or tomorrow i will write personals and try to update where everyone is.

Marynaz - thinking of you. I made another post directed to you on the end of July thread.

Okay I am running late to class so catch up with you later.

Quick note - I ended up with 3 frosties. :)
