Hello all you April mommies-to-be!! I know it is still very early in our pregnancy, but my 2nd beta came back positive as well, so I figured I would go ahead and start us a group!!

This is my 2nd IVF cycle, and luckily it worked this time around!! I go in tomorrow (8/12) for my 3rd beta and I assume they will then schedule my US!! It looks like my due date should be 4/14/09. Anway, I look forward to hearing from some familiar friends and meeting some new ones!! Congrats to you all!!

Hi jharris: I'm going in for my second beta today and I'm hoping my numbers look as good as yours! They had me come in 4 days later, (they don't run blood work over the weekend) so this is kind of like my 2nd and 3rd. I'll let you know when I get my numbers back.

Hopeful, Good luck on your 2nd/3rd beta!! I'm sure your numbers will be fine! I am ready for my 3rd beta tomorrow. I'm hoping they really increase tomorrow! Looks like we should have plenty of other women from the group to join us soon! We have had a very positive group! Good luck on that beta!

Thanks jharris, my 2nd/3rd came in at 731 and the nurse said it is a strong number so I don't go back until my u/s, on 8/26.

If I remember correctly you did your first beta a few days before most of us, so I'm sure your 3rd beta will suddenly leap as mine did

We'll have to get a few of the others to join us over here on this thread

hi ladies...i think my EDD is 4/7, but still waiting on the U/S to determine how many and when...can't wait. I actually joined the march group just cuz there wasn't an april one and i figured i was close enuf...i'm sure lots of ladies will be joining u soon, or ur welcome to come over to the march group...Good luck and congrats!

Hopeful, I'm so jealous!! Your US is way before mine! I asked this morning when my US would be, and they said 4wks after the 1st +ive beta! So mine isn't until Sept 5!! I dont' want to wait that long!!

babyloves: Good to hear from you. I saw you on the March babies thread and thought about joinging, but according to ER, my EDD is 4/14 so it's in the middle of the month, so I figured I would just start a new board. You can always be part of both!

With all the BFP's we are seeing on the IVF board, we should have plenty join is soon!

jharris: Good luck on your beta today! Wow, you do have to wait for your first u/s. You'll just have to keep thinking positive

I have tried a few different web sites and been given 2 EDD, 4/12 & 4/14, so I'll have to wait and see after the u/s.

Babyloves: I agree, you can always be on both threads

jharris: what's this about ur beta numbers on the aug/sept thread...i don't remember reading that there was anything wrong with them...did u get ur 3rd beta? maybe they got confused...there's so many ladies on that thread!

Hey babyloves, yeah I didn't post it on that board, I posted a separate question asking if anyone's beta dropped then went back up. I didn't want to post much until I got a better answer tomorrow. But yesterday the nurse called and said that my beta dropped. It was 150 on Sunday, but dropped to 43 yesterday. She asked if I had any cramping or spotting, which I haven't. So she told me to continue my meds, and then come back Thursday for another test. She said occasionally levels can drop and then rise again. But I'm not sure if she was saying that to make me feel better. Anyway, I guess I will know something tomorrow.

Hey there. My name is Liz and we just finished our 3rd IVF cycle and we're also due on April 14th. How funny is that? Thank so much for starting this group. So how many did you retrive and how many did you have put back.
we retrived 15, 13 fertilized and we had 3 blasts tranfered.

Hi Ladies, I'm Elisabeth and I would love to join the group! It still is a bit early, but after getting my second beta back today and seeing that it over doubled, I feel like this one may be it!! According to the websites, I will be due 4-15-09 if it is a singleton! TAX Day!!

Congrats to all of you on your pregnancies!!! Are you all first time Moms or do some of you already have little ones?

This will be our first. We have been trying for over a year, so I am so happy to think that we might have finally got it! I transferred 2 6 day blasts. My first Beta was on Monday and came in at 670. My second one was today and was 1580. I'll have one more on friday. Surprisingly, the doctor wants me to come in on Monday for an u/s. I'm a bit shocked that I go in so early because I will only be 5 weeks and 6 days at that point. How early are you all going in for u/s??

JHarris: I'm praying that you get really good news tomorrow. Big Hug!

Babyloves: Since you are at SG as well, are they doing your u/s early too??

so happy to be joining you! Just got my beta back today and it's confirmed. I am pregnant!!!! We go back on Friday for another beta. If the numbers double like they should, we are scheduled for u/s on Monday! They said they will probably only be able to see how many sacs, etc., possibly not heart beats so don't be nervous about it. EDD 4/19

I still have some slight cramping, but feel great. Only thing I feel is sore nipples.

How do you ladies feel???

hey elisabeth, I'm Liz. Congradulations on your great betas!! sounds like multiples!! I hope that you get great news at you first ultrasound. I've got mine schedualed for this monday and I will also be 5 weeks 6 days. I'm looking forward to it so much but I'm terrified at the same time. this is my first biological child, but my husband and I have a daughter already who is biologicall my niece but she is ours in every way since she was brought home from the hospital 10 years ago. She's the light of our live and this would be a much harder jopuney if it weren't for her in our lives. Her name is Sarah and she's the best kid ever!!!! So I'm a mommy already.

Sweetmomi: Congrats to you too!!! I'm sure everything will be fine on friday, what was your first beta? and not to worry, I'm still a little crampy too, perfectly normal. I was pregnant for 31/2 months last year and the cramping didn't stop till about 8 or 10 weeks.

elisabeth: my RN told me to come in anytime today (tues) or later (i'm 6 wks today)...b/c of my DH's schedule we have to wait til friday...i'm nervous as my 3rd beta wasn't quite double, but the clinic was fine with that. I guess if your 5w6d - that's pretty close to 6 wk. Which office/dr do u see?
