Today I am 19dp3dt...My hcg came back 5,250. My IVF nurse said "This is a wonderful number, call to set up your OB appointment to see if you have one or two. With those numbers it could be two."
Does anyone know if these are good numbers....if so do you think it might be twins?
My u/s is in two weeks....I know, it is just a guessing game at this point.
First hcg - 11dp3dt 101
Second hcg - 13dp3dt - 202
Third hcg - 19dp3dt - 5,250
Hey there, your numbers are great! They do however fall within the range for multiples. Check out http://www.betabase.info/. If my calculations are correct, you are 22 days past ovulation/retrieval, which puts your number very close to the median number for triplets. I certainly do not want to scare you, just prepare you. My HCG numbers were around the median for a single pregancy, and I was actually carrying triplets, so the beta numbers are not always an accurate indicator of the number of babies. Good luck to you and I hope you find this website to be helpful. It certainly helped me track my progress along the way.

Beta numbers are so tricky! I've seen really high numbers end up being a singleton and really low numbers end up being twins. You can see my beta #'s in my siggy below. When my RE called me with my 2nd beta, she said the possibility was there for twins because my numbers were so high. I found out for sure at my u/s at 5 weeks 6 days when we where able to see 2 sacs and 2 heartbeats.
Good luck!
