Waiting lists

Hello all,

I'm meant to be having IVF at Queens charlottes. Does anybody have any idea how I find out how long the waiting list is?

I'm having a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy in two weeks time in Herts and then I'm going on the list. I'd like to have a rough idea of how long its going to take as we don't want to put our lives on hold forever, plus I'm job hunting at the mo'.

Hi,

You could try to call your PCT or even Queen Charlotte's directly and ask them where you are on the waiting list.

I was told that they can't officially put you on the waiting list before the diagnostics are complete and you have had your consultation after the procedures. Have you been officially referred for IVF?

Hi,

I had a hysteroscopy and laparoscopy done Jan '07. Then I started treatment for IVF in March '07. The egg retrieval and fresh embryo implantation was done May '07. This was a BFN.
