jharris - I am so so sorry to hear your news. I know this has got to be rough for you and DH. I will say a prayer for you. Keep the faith.

joyanna - I think you have a great Beta and don't have anything to worry about. There are a lot of higher than usual beta's on this board but your number is equally fantastic.

Hommy - I haven't had the frequent urination thing but everything I have read says it's a normal symptom even in early pregnancy. Unless you have burning which indicates UTI, its more of a pain in the butt. I can't wait for you to get your official beta!

Sweetmomi - your beta rocked! Congrats!!

Kimmysq - we'd love you to have you join us! Congrats on the BFP. How many did you transfer?

So when I go in for my US I will be 6w1d are you able to hear the heartbeat at that point? At what point are you guys getting switched to the regular OB? For you DC ladies have you chosen a reg OB yet. I am still at a loss for what I want to do. We have so many hospitals and docs to choose from.

Hey dcdiva - my us is next fri and i will be 6 weeks and 3 days. Nurse said not to be upset if no heartbeat since its still early. I love my obgyn in fairfax so ill go to her. One less thing to stress about

Jharris - Im sorry ((hug)) really sorry. I know how you feel. Its cruel I know. This cycle is not an easy one for you and you DH. I pray that you and your DH will have the strength to go thru this difficult time and the strength to embark another new journey. I hope you won't give up coz we are strong. We are considered superwomen. Not all women have to go thru what we have gone thru now, but we manage to survive undefeated. So keep on going and don't give up because I believe one day we will succeed!!! We are here to support each other thru good times and bad times.

Joyanna - I think your beta number is superb. Everyone has different betas...some high some low. The most important is it is viable one and it keep continue to increase. So don't you worry too much. I think you will be allrite

Im so scared and excited at the same time. My DH just took my blood. Today is our beta test (privately not officially). Hahaha think my RE will scold us that we did our beta test earlier...ok just keep a secret. Im so scared that its not going to be that high to be viable one. Been gone thru that last year, so Im still scared of the outcome. Scared the history will repeat by itself. Yesterday I don't really feel well. Frequent urination and felt my body so warm. I have check my urine though and its not infection. I believe its due to my bloatedness that it actually push my bladder. Well I hope its the case and not other things.

My DH is not going to tell the result until he is back home which is about 8-9pm. The waiting is killing me. But at least my DH is there with me when the news is out so that I won't feel alone. Girls pls pray that its going to be high. Send babydusts to me. Thanks

jharris: My heart just dropped when I read your post. I am so sorry. I know you and your dh are in alot of pain right now. This IVF rollercoaster is so emotional, and it is difficult to understand at times.

Hi girls, just to update. My hubby called me and told me the number. At first he told me he is going to tell me once he is home, but then when he called I asked him about the result and he blurted out. He said he can't lie to me. Well the number is not high but at least its a positive. What so scary is that the number is almost the same as last year, so Im scared.

At 14dpt2dt my beta is only 147. Though it has double from my 10dp2dt - 35. Still Im scared. My next beta will be on monday, 3 days later. I pray my number will continue to double or even tripple.

JHarris - I am so very sorry to read your news. My heart just breaks for you and your dh. I know what you are going through and when it happened to me on my first ivf, i thought I was going to lose my mind with sadness. You and your dh are in my prayers.

Hommy - your beta looks good. I hope that it keeps doubling and doubling! I wish I had thought of getting my beta done outside my clinic. They don't routinely do betas......you may have seen my earlier mails.....I should have just gone elsewhere and put my mind at ease.

Jharris: I'm so incredibly sorry for your news. It sounds like it was so difficult to first have your BETA go up, and then come down. I wish I could come by and hug you. My DH and I are getting ready for our second round starting the end of August. I kind of want a break from all the shots and all the emotional mindgames that IVF plays on us...but I also know I'm not getting any younger and that I'm a strong woman who can get through this. Yopu're a strong woman too! You would never do IVF if you weren't. I'm thinking about you and your DH. BIG HUG!!!

Well i did my 3rd beta 4785

After 3 vaginal inserts, i had some light pink spotting. I freaked out about it all day. The nurse said it was either the baby or the inserts but it makes me sooo nervous. Anyone else experience this after the inserts or just have spotting?

Anyone else sick? I caught something nasty and am running a slight fever, have runny then stuffy nose, sore throat, coughing, itchy eyes ect. I think it is a combination of having a cold and allergies. I broke down and took some tylenol to try and reduce the fever as Tylenol is about the only thing you can take. Should I be worried? Do you think this will affect the pregnancy?

jharris - so so so so sorry.

AFM, I am bloated and consitpated. Had my 2nd beta today. 1st at 14dp3dt was 1161, 2nd at 16dp3dt is 2273. Have our ultrasound Monday but they told us we woudn't see much more than the number of sacs, etc. It's their policy to do first ultrasound after beta reaches 2000. Whoa.

You must have twins or triplets in there. I just can't believe how high your beta is. How many did you transfer? I am so jealous that your u/s in Monday. I have to wait until 8/25. Congrats on the great numbers.

Hommy: I think 147 is a great number!

Kim14: Can you remind me your beta history. How many days past transfer etc. Your number today looks amazing!

Tylenol is fine, you can take during pg. Sorry you are feeling sick.
