Hi ladies - sorry for being in touch sooner. Time just seems to be zipping along at the moment and i've been travelling alot with work. I'm now 9w2d - which is a major achievement for me. I'm meeting with my gyn/ob this week to go through everything so am looking forward to that - not sure i'll get another ultrasound though. Have been battling with the MS each morning but its seems to get better by lunch time - i always thought it was a fallicy that MS occured in the morning but thats definately the way it has been for me.

How is everyone else going? On wards and outwards? Jomae good luck with your house move - i think its a horrendously hard job however at least you get a nice new house to move into.

On by the way - what week did you decide to tell everyone / family you were preggers? I have a DSS (5yo), who lives permanently with us and i am desperate to tell her she is going to be a big sister however i just dont want to chance that something may go wrong.

Until next time everyone.

It's great to hear about all the growing bellies! It's such an amazing time to have this little being growing inside you!

On the subject of names, there's a bunch of great name websites out there. This site has the top 100 (and 1000 for some) for different countries: http://www.behindthename.com/top/ and this one you can look up by origin, boy, girl or letter: http://www.babynameworld.com/

Also, it's worth signing up for BabyCenter's enewsletter - they have great week by week development emails when you are pregnant as well as when your baby/kid is growing up.

Has everyone been watching the Olympics? The opening ceremony was amazing.

Hope all is well for everyone...

Hi all! I hope you remember me as it has been sooooo long.

Belb - I just wanted to tell you that I too had severe PND after Holly's birth & spent 4 weeks in a mother/baby unit. It was hell, but i have gotten through it & doing well. i am now off all medications. I can understand your fears about getting prego again - I too am scared! We are also about to undergo another cycle. I just figure that PND is treatable & you do recover from it - so go for it! (this is what i am trying to tell myself!)

I hope everyone is well!

Tiger - how are you? Where are you up to with your treatment?

Take care

Hi Guys
good to see some movement on the boards sorry i've been busy moving were now in our house but with only our beds set up everything else is in the garage intul the tiles go down on monday followed soon after by carpet the dust of the concrete floor and having no grass is discustingly dirty but at least our floors will be done by the end of next week which will be half the problem solved.
I'm starting to think i need to pack a hospital bag and getting some organization happening with everything packed it's hard to even know what i need to get for the new bub i don't ssuspect to much but non the less.

susan hows things going ms settleing for you should be soon if not already yes your right about the house at least it;s good to finally start getting settled.

Miss Molly i remember you i think you were pregnant when i began cycleing back in 05 sorry to hear you've had a hard time after bub was born unfortunatley it's more common than you think i've been there myselfand apparently it's more common in Ivf mums i guess it's partly to do with all the stress le ading up to getting pregnant and the hormones but it's great to hear you've got through it and are moving forward . If you don't mind me asking what do they do at the mother / baby unit to help you and was it helpful

Kery how's things with you did you sort out he ticker business

Tiger great to hear from you sending you loads of luck for your LUCKY november cycle

BelB Haven't heard from you in a while you'll be pleased to know Ds did a wee on the toilet on his own accord i had decided to not even try and toilet train him until it warmed up a bit he said mummy toilet toilet he took him self in started undressing i helped him on the loo and left him for a little to come back to find him with wee in the loo and all over the step on his ladder seat but none the less it was a wee and its was close enough to being in the right place he was so proud of himself and very excited to tell his mummy and daddy what he had done. i hope everything is ok with you lets us know how your going if your up to it

Good Saturday arvo to all!

Hi Jomae, how lovely to hear your little boy managed to pee in teh right place and he was proud if it :). Back in Melbourne now and having an awesome time with my nieces.

MissMolly, hey-ya buddy!! You sound very positive and yeah - I agree with you. Everything will go fantastic this time around too - you will get your BFP in no time and PND will be conquered. Are you going back to same interstate clinic for this cycle as last time?? was it SIVF or IVF Aust??? I am hoping for FET in November at MIVF but if that doesn't work we will start fresh cycle in Sydney. I have no idea where to start or what doctor yet though...

Hi all

The mother/baby was a godsend!!!! It was the best thing ever for us at that time. Basically I got one on one support from the nurses, who helped me deal with my anxiety relating to Holly. The first 5 nights I was there I also got to sleep all night, as they took Holly for the night. We had group therepy sessions which I found not all that helpful - most of the mums loved them though. I also got the chance to rest my mind and body from all external pressure & got the chance to focus only on looking after Holly. Being discharged home was stressful, but they helped me through it all. Even though I am no longer a patient, I am able to call the unit 24/7 if I need any help at all - so great just knowing someone is out there to help me.

Tiger - Hello my dear friend! If I can offer you one piece of advice it would be to go and see Dr Mark Livingstone at SIVF - he is the BEST!!!!! SIVF is more expensive than other clinics, but offer a 65% chance of success. They get a vast number of couples who have failed at other clinics, and manage to get them pregnant usually within 3 cycles. If you can afford to pay the extra cost (they charge around $9000 for a stim cycle & you are out of pocket between $1500-2500) I would not go anywhere else. Mark Livinstone is amazing - he is VERY nice, understanding, and bloody good at what he does. We would never consider going elsewhere. DH, DD & I recently went up to Sydney to see him & talk about another cycle. He was so happy and excited to meet Holly - it was a really nice experience for us all. He is very genuine. I swear I am not being paid commission my SIVF to poach patients!!!!!

Hey everyone...another oldie here.

Tiger, I second missmolly's recommendation. I can't speak highly enough of Sydney IVF or Mark. If they can get me up the duff they can get anyone there! I am sure the FET will work out just great though so you won't need to worry until you are ready for number 2.

MissMolly, great to hear from you. Sorry you had such a hard time after Holly's arrival. I think us IVF mums do put a lot of pressure on ourselves to be perfect and others make you feel like you can't complain about anything because you should be so damn grateful to have a child in the first place. I know that I had incredible anxiety while pregnant and in the months following Griffin's birth, I think he was so precious to me that I was certain he would be taken away. Good luck with the FET. I have continued to store my frosties at Sydney IVF even though I know I will never use them....I just can't seem to part with them.

Great to see so many pregnancies on the board. We had success with IVF resulting in the birth of our beautiful little boy in Feb 2007. We were then surprised to learn that we were going to welcome a little girl into our lives who was born 6 weeks early in April this year. Life is busy, but in a good way.

Good luck to all that are cycling and good luck also to those waiting to meet there little ones.

Cheers
Heather

Hiya Chickies,

I hope you're all having a fab Fri arvo. Weekend soon!!

MissMolly and Heather babes, yeah, thanks for Mr. Livingstone information. I will definitely look him up if I need to; hopefully there will be no need for it?

Jomae, I hope your home refurbishing is going smoothly. There is nothing worse than lazy & inefficient trades people...) My sis only has 4 weeks to go and she hasn't packed her bag yet either......

Kery, how's your bubba? I bet your littl DS is really excited about it too :).

Me? I ovulated on Monday (yes I can exactly tell when it pops out) and now I am suffering bad ovulation pain (HATE: Endometriosis & Adenomyosis in my tummy  ). I am even taking hot water bottle to work with me - figure that one out!! I really hope this endo is not getting any worse but who knows... Grrrrrr!!! Other than that - life is good....

Take care all and catch you again real soon.

Bye-ya, Love, Tiger xxx

Hiya Gals,

I hope you all had a lovely weekend. Mine was another perrrrrfect one with my huuby :). I am so lucky to have him.

Nics thanks for your msg, yea the pain is gone but over the weekend very ugly conjunctivitis reared it's head and I am looking real ugly - I am sure you know what I mean!! I really think when my endo plays up my immune system gets roughed up as well; I know I sound tad paranoid about it, but I know it!!!!

I hope your trip plans are going smoothly. Your departure must be nigh!! Take care.

Cheers, Tiger xx

Hi guys,

Good to hear everyone is doing well. I don't get on here much as everything seems to take twice as long these days!

I have hit the 30 week mark but my BP is not behaving and I am on tablets to keep it down. There is a trace of protein in my urine which is ok but given that I have had pre-eclampsia before they are watching me like a hawk. I am on weekly doc visits and have to have weekly blood tests to check my liver, kidneys and blood clotting.

its a bit scary as I was devestated when the twins came early and I had to leave them behind in SCN when I left hospital. Fingers cross we still have another 10 weeks to go.

My feet are killing me and I have very swollen hands and feet. Everyone keeps saying how well I look and I have to ask if they have forgotten their glasses because I feel so bloated and yuk. Is quite funny.

I'm having my baby shower this weekend. I know its early but bed rest may be just around the corner and Finn is having to have his tonsils and adenoids out and Grommets inserted next tuesday so I think the next couple of weeks are going to be a write off.

Talk more when I get another 30 secs.

Hi girls!!!

Tiger that Endo sounds very painful!! My god I thought period pains were bad enough but that is intense. Sorry I don't know much about Endo, can they give you pain killers or fix it?

Em, you poor thing it sounds like your body is working overtime!! Will you have some help with the twins if you have to go on bed rest? 10 more weeks and your there, I can't believe how time flys.

Hey jomae, hows the new house coming along? How many weeks are you now?

I'm 22 weeks now and I'm getting more tired as the weeks go on. Gee I had a lot more energy when I was 19 and preggers!!

HeyGirls

Em great to hear from you sorry to read your not doing the best. I couldn't imagine being put on bed rest i certainly couldn't imagine it being possible at all with a little one and a dhso hopefully it won't be the case for you have you got someone to help out with the boys if it comes to that. and yes lets hope you keep your little one in for the next 8 to 10 weeks at least and thankfully we are on the home stretchand then the real fun begins with the sleepless nights and all.. Ihope your little fellas op goes well poor little man.

Kery good to hear from you iv'e been watching for you to post to see how you are 22weeks hey your getting there i'm 32 this friday and it's so hard to bend roll sit up lay down anything that requires me bending at the waist. How much wieght have you gained i'm thinking i should have gained more not that i'm complaining definately not but in the last two months i haven't gained anything and infact i have lost half a kilo making it a total of two and a half kilos in totaldoes this sound normal to you.
So how have you been ok i hope

Hey tiger
What a buggeryou have so much pain with the wicked monthlies my sisters the same but not as bad as you by the sound of it. Lucky you having a perfect weekend wish i could have one of those wanna share one with me?

As for me we still haven't moved our furniture into our house other than our beds, the fridge a washing machine and a tv out tiling is almost completed we just need to finish grouting and the carpets get layed tommorrow and then i can start moving our gear in from the garage and get organized. i only have eight weeks to go possibly six depending on what the file says that my new hospital has not yet bothered to get transferredover mani'm annoyed about that i can see myself having to drive to hours to collect it myself.i've been having a couple of dizzie spells but apparently nothing to worry about. I've started my shopping i don't need anything major just some girly clothes which is hard to buy as there is so many cute things and it's hard to decide and a couple of things like a baby carrier and feeding pillow to make my day alittle easier

Hello susan hows things progressing for you well i hope
Any way best go take care all
