Strange reaction

When I did the IVF treatment I blew up from the hormones. After about 3 months in the pregnancy this settled and I woke up one day almost as skinny me again, this was explained to me as normal since I am not on artificial hormones anymore. But over the last 6 weeks I find I can blow up in a day and loss it again overnight or I could slowly grow for a week or 2 to the point where everyone comments on my pregnancy and how big I am to once again losing it all overnight. It’s a scary concept waking up and looking not pregnant anymore. I know it is common for patients who could not conceive for a long time, to have difficulty accepting and being positive about the pregnancy. But I just wish I could find information or someone out there who could confirm that this was a normal reaction.

It has been 6 weeks since my last doctor’s appointment and I am now in my 17th week, should I go back again or wait until the 20th week appointment?

I understand what you mean. Although I am not far along as you are, I wake up some mornings larger than others. Some morning I see a nice size pot belly and others nothing. Like this am I woke up and my belly is not even there and my boobs are smaller and no where near as firm/thick. It does scare you, I understan.

My suggestion is to call them, just to make you feel better and ask if you can come in and here the HB on doppler. OR, you can rent a doppler and do it yourself at home. That is what I did and I got it in the mail today, but have not used it yet.

At my Dr's office they told me since day one if I need some reasurance to just call and come in.
