Truebeliever: Congrats on the beta, that is great. I wouldn't worry too much about the pains. During the first tri I had a lot of cramping from everything adjusting in there.

Valerie68 and Turtles: I am wishing you lots of luck with the follicles! Don't worry everything will work out and it sounds like you are doing fine. Remember slow and steady wins the race or in your case makes lots of eggies!

Muggsey24: Good luck with u/s and b/w. I will be thinking about you.

Anyone I missed good luck! I will be praying for everyone!

I go for my ER tomorrow, they decided to make me wait one more day. I am very excited and can't wait. Even though I have to get up at 3am to drive to Indy for the procedure. I think the worst part is I remember how much I was starving through the whole thing last time and I couldn't wait to get done so I could eat something. I'll let everyone know my report on Wed. Hopefully I'll have a lot of good eggs.

Hey everyone,
Sounds like everyone is reaally moving and grooving! Congrats to all the BCP's, and my sincerest sympathies to anyone with not the best news.My heart is with you all and cant even begin to tell you how much this forum has been my biggest support system!!

I am doing ok- stimming like a turtle, Valerie and I are almost in sync. I am praying for one good egg thats all we need!! Thanks so much for all your help Valerie thus far!

I had an interesting morning. I had to get my b/w done, and this time they couldnt get a good vein, so after three sticks they got it thorugh my hand- UGH. I was mortified because I almost passed out by the 3rd stick- I completelty drenched my clothes and had to lay down before they would release me cause I turned white as a ghost as it really looked like I was going down !!! Holy anxiety attack  Now what makes this even more rediculous is that for the last three days I have been drinking water like a fish, probably close to 3/4 gallons a day- yet today i woke up feeling nauseous and dehydrated- so I am confused??? Has this ever happened to any of you??? How can you drink so much water the day before and wake up nauseous and dehydrated? The girls at the b/w center said that when veins act like mine it usally means dehydration-well two days ago I gained 5 pounds from water retention in two days, so thats why upped my water cosumption even more, whats up with this??

I will be seeing my RE today to get my latest and hopefully get my trigger date! Although I am not holding my breath, I think he just wanst to adjust my med again-Last u/s was saturday and it revealed 11 measurable follies: L: 14.5, 13, 13, 13, 11, 10 R: 14, 9, 9, 9, 9
My E2 was 800 and something, cant remember exact number

I'll have new info to report later today

Big fat hugs to all of you!! Im sending blankets of posistive vibes out to the universe for us all-

Toobee~ I'm so sorry you had such an ordeal this morning!! I can totally relate as I used to be needle phobic and used to pass out...what a terrible feeling.
I'm concerned about you though because if you're drinking that much water and you're dehydrated, I would find out where you're holding all that water. Find out now before it gets worse. OHSS is associated with water retention but also with high E2 numbers and you don't have that, at least not as of Saturday.

Is your next US this afternoon? I'll be looking for your update.
Hugs and stay strong.

Shellbell~ Good luck on ER tomorrow...wishing you lots of eggs and an easy retrieval.

Chris~ I'm so glad that you are stimming so much better than before, that's a great relief...grow follies, grow...Good E2 numbers...mine also went up 560 in 2 days, I couldn't believe it!!

Kerpupples~ Welcome to our thread. I know you have been through a lot of disappointment and it is so hard to find the strength to remain positive. That's why we're here to help you regain that PMA. Wishing you a good FET in September. Your time is coming!!

I made a little mistake and my follies were 14,12,11 and 9. I don't think the 9mm one will do anything. So I'm doing the same as the first cycle and I'm ok with that...I know my baby is one of those. :D

Lots of other girls stimming...would be great to hear from all of you!!

Baby dust and follies dust to all :D :D :D

Hiya! i am still on holiday but am checking in on all you ladies! I have been thinking of all of you and sending PMA your way.

Val~I think four is excellent. I know you really wanted more--but I betcha your future baby is amongst those four strong eggs! You have done so much to prepare for this cycle with AP, diet and positive mind power. I have no doubt your eggs will be super! And just think of JDC who had 4 follies and then got 5 eggs in the end! And like you said, historically you respond late--so there is still more time for growth. i am thinking of you! Stay strong.

JDC~so happy to hear your strong beta number! it is official now and I am so happy for you. You are my inspiration. Take it easy and enjoy every moment of being pregnant.

TrueBeliever~Congrats on being pregnant! I am so happy for you. there are an amazing number of BFPs on our board! Good going ladies!

Jenolina~I am sorry that more of your eggs did not fertilize. I know you must be dissapointed. But take heart as your one is such fine quality! And it will be safely back in your body soon and you will be PUPO.

BabyCrazy~Congrats on your 3 blasts! That is super news and your chances are high! Keep the PMA.

Kas~I am also a poor responder and can totally relate to your feelings. But keep the faith--all we need is one strong emby!

Muggsey~I was really sweating when I read your post about taking the wrong dose! yikes! You must have been so stressed. I was so relieved to read that it was a mistake and you had taken the right amount afterall! This process is stressful enough without any extra drama. shew.

I am winding down my holiday with a visit with my inlaws. I really like them and they have a backyard pool--so it is very relaxing. Except when they start asking when they will have grand children! oye. Hopefully soon.
Keep the faith ladies.

Grow embie grow!

Post by jenolina »

Yesterday morning was my transfer. We only had one to put in, as none of the other 6 mature eggs fertilized. Fortunately, it looked great! The RE thought it was best to get it back inside me asap, so we did a 2 day transfer. Anyone else out there with a 2 day tranfer?

We are staying focused on this little guy being "the one"! I think we were really focused on the numbers: wanting so many follicles or eggs, etc. The reality is, you only need one egg to fertilize to move forward in this process, so we are thrilled that we have been able to do that. You low responders, keep positive and remember that it is not about quantity but quality!

My first BETA is Aug 29. I will be very busy in the next 2 weeks, moving and starting a new job. I will try to keep the stress down, but really feel overjoyed to have made it this far in the process! Grow embie grow!

VAl:: Believe in your 4 little guys!

TRUEbeliever: Congrats on your BFP! How exciting! It's inspiring!

babycrazy: 3 blasts is so great! Grow triplets grow!

Everyone out there stimming, keep up the PMA! Baby dust!

Hi! I've returned from the shore, and I can't wait to get my beta numbers tomorrow!

Val Try to keep up that PMA girl!!! Just like you told me, sometimes it seems the more days spent stimming, the better the eggs. My lead ended up being about 4mm ahead of the rest.....I know you will end up with your perfect embryo this time. Got my fingers crossed for you!

I will check in again tomorrow, but I just wanted to say hi for now!

Hello Ladies,

Another weekend has gone by and another day closer to our BFP's.
Looks like some nice E2's to go with some nice healthy mature eggs.

WOW We sure have had alot of BFP's to kick start this month congrats to all you ladies.

I am still in a holding pattern waiting for AF to arrive just another week or so to go. I am finally starting to feel a little more positive, I think I am just starting to get excited to finally start again. Fingers crossed I can help the Sept BETA's with a BFP of my own.

Well I am off to AP....sigh if only it didn't hurt everytime(. Oh well the wonderful relaxed feeling after is well worth it.

Have a great day!!!!

POF???

Post by toobee »

Hey ladies & Valerie,
Well I just got my update from my RE today. I got some good news and strange news. First the Good news: Looks like I will be triggering shortly, possibly tommorrow. Strange News: My RE told me they almost cancelled me in the beginning since they didnt think I was responding well to the protocl since my first u/s only revealed four follies. After increasing my Gonal-F from 300 to 450 my ovaries worked extra hard to produce some more, and at he second u/s I got 12. (Valerie, I know this is old news to you) Today the RE told me that my ovaries are acting older then my age of 38, soon to be 39 this October. The fact that he said my ovaries are acting older then they are scared the living you know what out of me. I imagine all of you above 35 can relate to anything to do with time and age and how sensitive we are about it. Anyway, I went form excited to rigger, to OMG, I might be running out of time, this better work- and on and on and on. Mind you my daya started out rough to being with

Anywy, I am feeling down in the dumps, and not sure what to think, but somehow I entered into negative territory today

Anyone have any encouraging words for my ging ovaries? and also my defalted spirit today? UGH

Hello ladies,

Hope everyone is having a great Monday!! I had an appt. this morning for my u/s and b/w and just got a call around 4:00 from my nurse and I get to trigger tonight!!! I am excited but yet nervous. I do my trigger at 9:30 and my ER will be Wednesday at 9:30. I have two possible three follicles over 20 and then several smaller. I told my nurse that I could not complain at all because me and Dh have been praying for atleast two mature follices. God is Good!! I have to go back in the morning for my last b/w and to pickup my papers for retreival. Also, the pharmacy called today to send out the rest of my med's so they should be here by tomorrow. We will be doing ET on Saturday if all goes well! We will be doing ICSI also.

Sorry I dont have time to do personals right now but I will be back on later tonight!!

Good evening ladies.

JDC~ Thanks for your encouraging words...it makes me feel good. I've got my fingers crossed for you tomorrow but I know it's going to be good!! :D

Toobee~ I know it's hard to get such news from your RE. Perhaps he should have waited until you are pregnant to tell you such news as it is disturbing you. You DO have 12 follies, that IS eggsellent :D
I don't care what they categorize you as but you're going to have plenty of eggs and beautiful embies. We are here to defy the odds and become Mommies really soon. Don't think about running out of time right now, concentrate on your follies that are in your belly and the potential babies that they represent right now. Erase those bad thoughts from your mind as soon as they come in, that's what my acupuncturist told me and that is what I do a lot and replace them with good thoughts about this cycle.
Stay strong!!

Much Hope~ I hope you get good E2 numbers a plenty of good sized follies! Wishing you the best! :D

Muggsey~ Way to go!! So exciting that you get to trigger already! Enjoy your injections free day!! Hoping for lots of good eggs out of those follies.

Jenolina~ Congrats on transferring that little fighter embie of yours!! Lots of rest ...but not too much for good implantation. :D That would happen in about 4 days for you!

I'm really upset with my nurse. I checked my order and noticed that I don't have my hcg for my trigger. If I had not seen it, I'd be without. I constantly have to check my meds and make sure I won't run out, isn't that her job.
Now, with this tropical storm here, they can't guarantee that it will arrive tomorrow. I need the Bravelle for Wed. morning. And when I call her, I feel like I'm bothering the heck out of her...not a good feeling at all. If I was the nurse, I'd make real sure that all my patients are well taken care of and that they don't have to worry about anything.
I will have a talk with my RE after my transfer so I don't upset anything.

I'll check on all of you later!
