I'm happy to see a lot of great things have been happening!
Hommy: Congrats on such a huge beta jump! Your little one or ones are very strong!
Emfossom: Good luck on today's first beta! It is totally nerve wracking, so I'm hoping you get a great call very soon!
As for me, My DH and I had our first u/s and we have one beautiful little one growing! We are very excited and although tomorrow is week 6, we were able to see the heartbeat! It was an amazing feeling that I hope all of you get to experience in the next few days/weeks!
We are over the moon with happiness and finally are able to take a little sigh of relief! We go in next week for our 2nd u/s and then I will be d/c'ed to the OB. The only other change is that I am to stop taking baby Aspirin and I can finally go on walks! Thank You!! I feel like sitting on the couch all the time is making me even more tired than I already am!
How's everyone feeling??
Well I hope everyone has as good of a day as we have had!
Elisabeth
Congrats Elizabeth! what a relief it must be to finally see your little one's heartbeat! We don't go in until Aug 27 which seems like light years away! I think it is just as hard to wait for that u/s than it is to wait for the Beta...(well, both are hard to wait for...) Glad you go the go ahead to walk again. I am hoping for that one too! I feel so lazy now and that is not a pattern I want to get used to! Congrats and enjoy!

Congrats!! How exciting that, you got to see the hb. My 1st u/s is Monday, and I will be 6wks 1 day. What do you think my chances are to see the hb??
Can you remind me what your beta numbers were and if you did a 3 or 5 day transfer??
I am so excited for you!!!
Kim
Thank you for all of the congrats and well wishes! I'm sure your news will be just as great!!
Kimmy: My beta's are listed on my signature: We transferred 2- 6 day blastocysts. My first beta was 670, my second was 1580 and my third was 2900--? doing this from memory. I hope you are able to see the HR. We were prepared not to see one and then it appeared. I am only 5 weeks, 6 days along, so I think you have a very good chance of seeing one!! Fingers crossed for you!
hey guys - I had a scare yesterday - bleeding and got to do my u/s a week early all is well with my little bean We even got a photo. Dr saw a flicker which she said was the heartbeat but wants us to come in and see it when we are a little further along since i went so early. She said everything looked perfect and the inserts are whats bothering me. it was a huge relief sicne i thought i was having a mc yesterday. We go next week but i have a work trip so cant go till wed. I swear im going to be counting down days till this baby comes out!!!!!!
Hi ladies, well my beta came in pretty low at 37.5, the RE said that it was not good, but it was not bad, and that we will know a lot more on Wed. for my second beta. The nurse called me afterward to make sure I am okay on meds, and I could hardly speak because I am so scared and so upset. She told me not to worry, but I can't help but wish that I had a higher number. It doesn't help that I feel so incredibly hormonal at the moment. I said some prayers and handed this over to God, and I just need to wait. Do any of you know of success stories where the beta started this low?
Kim- I am glad you were able to see your little bean. Those darn inserts!
Emfossum - i just read your post. you tested 14 days after er. My clinic wouldnt test till 18 so at my clinic you would have been over 100. i totally think you have a chance. All you need is for that number to increase!!Your in my thoughts
Emfossum - I think your embies implant lately and thats why your beta is still low. But the good thing is that you are positive!! Try to remain positive and drink high protein milk. Will pray that your beta doubling or even tripple in the next 2 days.
Elisabeth and Kim: A big congrats on getting hb today!
Emfossum: For my 1st cycle my first beta was a 7 and the nurse said the lowest beta she had ever seen go onto a viable pregnancy was 8, so you definitely have a chance. Keep your hopes up!
Laura: I am in the same boat as you ... my u/s is on the 26th and I'm wondering the same thing. I guess with everything we've been through the worrying comes naturally, unfortunately. I think we'll feel much more at ease once we see the hb
Hommy - what a fantastic post. I am so happy to see that you beta skyrocketed! Hang in there. I know the 2 ww seems to never end because we are always waiting for something!
Kim14 -Glad to see that everything worked out and you got to see your little bean! I have a little spotting with the suppositories but I was just chalking it up to irritation as I have been on them since ET.
Elizabeth - YAY your first ultrasound! I bet it was fabulous to see the heartbeat and reassuring. I go in tomorrow and can't wait! Have you already made an appt with your regular OB?
Emfossum - hang in there lady. You have made it this far and with a positive BETA to boot! congrats. Things can progress very quickly so please don't count yourself out. You WILL get a higher beta! I will keep praying for you.
I am so excited for my ultrasound tomorrow. I hope we are able to see the heartbeat. I will be at exactly 6 weeks. My RE told me prior to my beta that he would be surprised it I wasn't pregnant with twins?? So now my husband has that engrained in his head. I am pretty sure he would rather just have one but he keeps referring to babies as plural so hopefully he isn't disappointed tomorrow if we only have one. I am fine with one or two so long as the baby is healthy. I am finally getting over the bug I had this weekend only to end up with slight nausea and heartburn today and still cramping. Before the positive Beta I would pray that I could deal with any symptoms god threw my way so long as I would just be pregnant!
Anyone else getting any more symptoms?

Kim14 - I thought you are also in pregnant after treatment April 2009 thread. Think I really got mix up. Thank God that you are ok and its a bonus that you manage to take a peek on you embies . Have you try to insert the pessaries thru rectum instead of your vagina? I heard the absorption is the same.
To all the the girls, I would like to say thank you girls for being so supportive to me during this 2ww and thank you for all your well wishes. Today I just met my RE and he seems very happy with my result and keep reassuring us that its going to be allrite. Im going for scan on 9/03. Hope by that time I can see hb. Another hurdle to pass. At this moment I will just relax myself.
Well we went for the first ultrasound today and saw an empty sac. I was so shocked. At the very end we were able to see the fetal pole. So does that mean the sac is not empty? I am so confused and worried right now. I was okay with not seeing a HB but to have an empty sac is a different story. My RE said it is still early but I am 6 weeks exactly today and plenty of people are seeing yolk sac and HB at this stage. I have another u/s scheduled for next week to see if things are progressing. I don't know what to do at this point. I have been nauseous the last two days and haven't eaten much and thought this was a good sign but I don't know now. I am scared to go back at this point.
