Hey april mommies...thank you for all ur good wishes :D

Elisabeth: fairfax is a good obgyn hosp..i need to find a good ob soon...so SG told me that my next u/s is within 2 wks, prob i'll go the week after next. If everything is ok, and they want me to be seen by my regular RE so he can say goodbye...then, i'm done with SG at that point. The aspirin is stopped when fetal heart tones are heard, and by 9/9, i'll hopefully be able to stop the estrace/progest...that will be exciting.

i think my due date is prob march ~ 17? now, but the office didn't tell me that...i'll have to ask next apt.

Yeah...i feel soo good for all of us :D :D :D

Hi Ladies~ I'm back from my dad's 80th bday party weekend. It is nice to be back and hear about what symptoms or non-symptoms others are having. I swear there are times when I'm convinced and then other times when I'm concerned that I'm not feeling anything.

Babyloves: Congrats on your twins!!! How exciting for you and your DH! I can't believe you are able to keep it in from your in-laws. We told my dad on his bday and he was so excited. We probably would have kept it in but my family has been very supportive through the whole IVF process so we kind of felt like we had to.

Welcome to everyone who has joined this thread while I was gone for a few days. My u/s isn't until 8/26 and they only did 2 betas for me, my second one was 4 days after my 1st so I think they counted it as the 2nd & 3rd??? Anyhow, I'm getting very anxious.

hopefulin SD: i know it seems like months away, but you're u/s will be fine!...its so exciting to see the baby...make sure u get a picture!

Its been tough hiding it from the in-laws, and i've almost feel like telling them as my MIL is a retired ob-gyn! I sleep a lot and drink a lot of water which i'm sure they've noticed...but they leave in 2 days, so we'll keep waiting :D My mom, sis, dad all know.

Anyway...this board is a little quite after the weekend...hope everyone else is doing well!

Wow babyloves, your MIL is a retired OB/Gyn? Does she know what you have been going through TTC? Depending on her personality it could be useful or overbearing

Thanks for reassurance on the u/s. I will be 7 weeks at that point, so I should be able to hear the heartbeat. I'm anxious and scared at the same time. They have been really good about giving us pictures this far, so hopefully I won't have to remember to ask ... I'm just hoping I'll remember to breath when they start doing the u/s!

hopeful: i totally cried during my ultrasound, and then afterwards too...for some reason, just the tension and stress of this whole thing led me to shed lots of tears of joy and relief...
we're not planning on telling anyone who doesn't know already about the IVF...why bother? People just start looking at you differently like there's something wrong with you..i think we won't even tell our friends that - unless they're having fertility issues...i guess we're (mostly DH) just kinda private that way. 8) probably lots of diff opinions on this :D

I totally understand about not telling people. We only told some of our immediate family as well. It was really difficult this past weekend for my Dad's 80th bday, as the majority of his side of the family was present. We were at a lake and I got a lot of strange looks as to why I wouldn't/couldn't go in the lake in 100+ degree weather.

It is going to be really hard when I go back to work next week. I'm a teacher and while I taught summer school until the middle of July I haven't seen most of the staff since June. A lot of the teachers I'm close with know we've been TTC for a while so I know they will be scrutinizing me when I go back. I'm pretty small and until May worked out quite a bit. Between the weight I have gained, not a lot but enough that my clothes are fitting tighter, and the fact my arms and legs are not even close to being as toned as they were 3 months ago people are going to be asking. I'm not sure how I'm going to respond.

Hi everyone! I'm happy to report that we have one healthy little baby growing! :!:
My DH and I went in today for our first u/s and although I am only 5 weeks 6 days, we were able to see the heartbeat! Gosh, what a relief! DH had his heart set on twins and I really wanted them as well, so we did feel an initial let down when we only saw one sac, but once we were able to see the flickering heartbeat, our spirits were totally lifted!
Thank you all so much for all of your support and understanding. Without you, this would really have been a difficult journey!

I was told to stop the baby aspirin and to come back in one week for another u/s. If all looks good, then they will d/c me to my OB. (Babyloves, I see Kathy Wolf in Fairfax and she is FABULOUS!! Just in case you need a referral to someone local!)

I hope everyone else is feeling great. I still am not having any m/s. Just some tiredness with breast soreness, but that all has improved a lot as well.

Oh how I pray we all have easy uneventful pregnancies!!

Elizabeth, congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we had our ultrasound today. We have 3 beauties! DH is still pale and sick from seeing that. We are going to talk tonight about all of this. Still shocked.

Babyloves, I am so glad you brought that up. No one knows about our issues. I am sure they will assume or ask questions once we tell them we're having multiples. Have to decide how to handle that.

Sweetmommi: Big Congrats on the triplets! That is amazing! I think it is only natural to feel a bit shocked with that number! But, it is three times the love and I'm sure once the shock goes down that you would not have it any other way!! Can you remind me on how many you transferred?? I can't remember if you transferred 3 or if one of the 2 would have split. Anyway, I'm really happy for you 5!!

sweetmomi: congrats on ur triplets!! Wow...that's amazing and yes, i'm sure its scary too. I'm scared with two as i am small, but i keep telling myself that God thinks i could handle it...and i'm sure you can as well. Built-in buddies as I like to think of them.. :D

I'm definitely feeling the m/s and fatigue now, and i've become pretty lazy...need an exercise video or pg book...will get one soon. How are you guys staying active?

elisabeth: thanks for the referral...and happy hb day to you and DH..now you can rest easy for a little while.

hopefulinSD: wow..hats off to you for going back to work...i have to go in november and i'll be showing then, so i won't have to explain. I'm sure you can tell a few select people if you feel comfortable.

Ok then, everyone have a good night :D

Hi Ladies:
I have been following this thread, and am excited to post. I just had my 3rd beta today, and am a little nervous. I had to ask the nurse 3 times to make sure I heard the number right.

12dp3dt 332
14dp3dt 888
19dt3dt 11,164

Do you think something is wrong with the labwork, can that really be my number?

Congrats on the preggo's on this board! :)

Baby dust,
Kim

Crashing your thread again!

babyloves~ Thanks for the encouragement, you're a sweetheart for checking on me!! :D
I saw that you were pretty tired, not much you can do but rest, drink lots of water and eat good nutritious foods.
It's so awesome about seeing the babies on the US. I'd be bawling my eyes out from all the joy and relief. Enjoy this pregnancy!

One of you is having triplets...Wow! Congrats to all as it sounds like you are all doing terrific.

Much love,

Babyloves - my husband and I haven't told anyone about the IVF. It was really hard going through everything alone but I am a private person and people can be so judgmental about things and I didn't want any added stress. We did tell both of our parents that we were pregnant though. We won't tell anyone else until we reach the 2nd trimester.

Elizabeth - congrats on your little bean. My husband has it in his head we are having twins so I am a little worried how he is going to react during our ultrasound tomorrow but I know he will come around once we see at least one healthy bean.

Sweetmomi - I almost passed out!! 3 beauties. WOW congratulations. I think my husband would be pale and sick too but he will come around once the shock wears off. How are you coping? I like babyloves saying of built in buddies. What a blessing! Take care of yourself.

Kimmy - holy mother of Beta numbers! I don't know what to say but congrats! How many did you transfer? Were they 3 or 5 day?

I think I am actually starting to feel the beginnings or M/S. Loss of appetite, a little acid reflux and burping and some nausea. I am also tired tired tired. Came straight home and got into bed. Is anyone else really tired?
