AF before BETA? help me guys

Im supposed to ahve my beta on 8/20...yesterday we check blood test just for curiosity and BFN...then noon i went to go pee and there it was...a blood..I cant believe it...I thought while on progesterone that you cant have period.....Im so confused.....please help

You need to call a dr ASAP. It is true that you should get your period with progesterone... however, about a week after I got my positive test on my round #3, I had bleeding and incredible cramping. I had a m/c. The bleeding did stop within a few hours... or at least subsided. There was still some brown. They kept me on progesterone for another month waiting to see what happened (I had twins) but by the time of the u/s I had lost the twin too.

I really feel for you. I am on my 2ww (beta next Sat 8-23) but I had a dream last night that I went to the bathroom and had lots of blood. I think after going through the m/c last time I am just so scared.

I've been lucky that my insurance pays (I live in IA but since my company is based out of NJ they are mandated to cover infertility treatments... I got really lucky)

I'm very sorry for both you and DH... I've had my menses start on progesterone each time it was a BFN. Something like two days before beta (my clinic prescribes pessaries though, not PIO). Nevertheless, there could be many reasons that explain the bleeding and the negative HTP. Only a blood test will let you know for sure at this point. I agree with dancingirl; call you clinic and have a beta done. You'll feel better after you know for sure, one way or the other. *hugs* Hang in there...

hi - I think you may have to hang in there till the 20th for beta but if you are having bfn hpts i think that may sadly be your answer. However, my 1st cycle i thought i got af 2 days before my beta. When I went i was convinced it was neg and the nurse and dr said that bleeding was totally normal during 1st trimester and that the progesterone would keep me from getting my period. They were right - a week later i got my real period but unfortutately i did have a bfn. i am pregnant after this last cycle so dont give up! Call your dr and mabye they can squeeze you in but my clinic is really strict with beta dates but they should check to make sure everthing else is ok. Good luck

Today I went in to have my Beta....Im bleeding so I think its really BFN...just to be sure I still went ahead for a blood test..you know,so I dont have that thought "I should have"....

Its just too hard to accept...I have so many frozen embies but hubby is decided I think, that its the only try we are having ....he said its too much and way expensive..."no more $" for FET.....

Im just feeling sooooo down..I just could not move and function...and I think that hubby and I are not on the same page.... He got a son from a previous marriage so I guess..thats make it easy for him...but how about me??? I just can't believe it's really happenning, I ahve two sisters, one just gave birth and the other one is preggers and due on december.... and me nothing and probably not even a chance as husband will surely not have plans on trying again...IM just so down right now. thank you guys for being there.....

I'm so sorry. I know that it is hard when your spouse doesn't see eye to eye with you. I can't complain about my husband... but there again we have insurance that covers it so I don't know how it would be if we didn't. Possibly like your story.
He flip flops though on whether he would be ok with no kids... or wants to do anything we have to (like sell my soul??? LOL) But like donor eggs, or adoption, etc.
I know frozen cycles are not as expensive... and your frosties will last a while... so give it some time, save some money and see what happens. Maybe after walking away from it for a while he will see how much you want it and how much he'd like to have something that is a piece of you... especially knowing you have little frosties sitting in the wings wanting to come out and show what they can be.
