Sorry I've been MIA for a little bit- I thought I should stop being so obsessive about being on the boards since we're taking a break for now- otherwise you feel like you want to get doing stuff again and we might never but who knows...anyhow...I couldn't forget y'all of course!!

Donni- So sorry about everything going on...no working and now this u/s and glucose test...I really hope all gets better for you soon. You've only gained 10 lbs- wow!! Keep us updated on you and little Addie- you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Barbarella- How are you doing? Are you feeling ok? Did you get to have that u/s early? I hope all is going wonderfully for you!

Hi everyone!!

Ok, so I was at the lake for a week!! It was nice, we went RV'ing!!! Only ten minutes from our house, but it was still fun!

Donni I agree with you too our poor thread is disappearing!! So you may have to stop working?? That's a hard decision for sure because like you said you need money, but you also want to do what best for baby. When is you appt. for the fetal EKG?? How scary, I'm sure that she's A-ok. AND the gluclose?? You've had quite a time lately. Take it easy, I'll be thinking of you!!

Good to hear from you Laura!! You're right it's still fun to pop in now and then even when we're not ivf-ing!!

Barbarella hope you got that early u/s!!! We'll be waiting to hear from you!

Well my appt went good, my RE wants to "look in my uterus" again, it's simple I guess it's just done in the office. They want to make sure they didn't miss anything, septum etc. when I had my laparoscopy done. Oh goody, can't wait. I just know it's my pesty uterus that is the problem here..! UGH! So I'll let you know when that will be.

Hi girls ~ Good to hear from you Laura and Faith! Just a quick check in because my daughter turned 16 and we are taking her to a resort with some of hr friends and spend the day on the water slides and the lazy river. She is so excited.

Anyway.... I met with the peri and he said I can work so I will continue and just listen to my body. The glucose test was just the 1 hour and I've read that many people fail that one and go on to pass the 3 hour. So I am hoping that is me. The baby seems to be doing well. I monitered her heartbeat last night for the first time in forever and it seemed slow to me. It was about 126bpm or so, so of course I was terrified. Her heartbeat has been ranging from the mid 140's to the mid 150's. So I sat and cried and prayed that all is OK. They haven't scheduled me for the echo yet, I called them Friday and they said someone should call me late that afternoon or sometime Monday. I am just ready to have her so I can know that she is OK.

I had some downtime and I thought I would check up on everyone!

How are you holding up, Donni?
Are you going to continue working? Can you shorten any of your hours? I failed my first glucose test, too. The long one revealed no problems. Try not to worry. AND try to relax! jeez, you are doing and going thru so much!!

Faith! Are you starting an FET? I read thru all the posts I missed, but I must have totally missed yours!
Me, having a relaxing summer...that's about it.

DH mentioned the thought of trying again. It made me sick to think about. We are in debt already, and I don't feel like spending more for another BFN, ya know? I said I would think about it, but I don't want to think about it. I think we are really done.

DD has been sick, running a fever all weekend. Her temp reached 104 at one point and pediatrician said if it goes above 105, than bring her in. Umm, that's pretty high. I think I need a new pediatrician.
She is ok, now, her fever broke, but she is still very tired and cranky.

Donni - What a terrible time, I do not understand half of the things you have had to go through as i have never been so far in a prgnancy, but I am sending lots of big hugs and very special wishes your way. Hope all goes well. I am sure it will. Big X for Addie.

Well I had my scan today 8wk 1d Doc is happy with what he has seen today, 1 Happy heartbeat, but I am not counting my chickens, my next scan is 19 Aug. If all is ok then they will release me I heard the words ante natal today, i let a little smile out I just wanted to burst.... but I have to keep it real for the next 2 weeks. My mum has just been operated on for skin cancer I just found out the last 2 weeks will know more when I go over to see her on sat cannot wait to see her, I am away for a week to uk to see my family.....yippeee.

My house is still in bits all over the place ......so this is just a quickie email.

Barbarella ~ Wonderful news about your little one! I understand your hesitancy but all is going great! Enjoy little momma!!! Sorry to hear about your mom. Good luck to her, I hope they got all the skin cancer and she is recovering well. Have fun seeing your fam!

Beth ~ Yes, going to continue working until the end. I work in sales, right now since I sell school furniture I am slammed busy, but it will slow down and I will be able to have a more flexible schedule. I'm trying not to worry. Poor DD, I think it is time for a new pediatrician as well. Geez, 105...that's too high! Poor baby, I hate when my babies get sick. So....you think you are done huh?? I understand about being in debt and tired of it all. But just take this time to NOT think about it. You may change your mind and you may not. Pop in though, we are all still here for you.

Faith ~ I think I had that test done at the RE's office where they looked at my uterus. It was a simple procedure that I had, I thought they did something with a dye??? I can't remember exactly. Keep us informed.

As for me... I have my echocardiogram tomorrow. Not sure when I will get the results back. I did my 3 hour glucose test today. I am sure that is fine, I hear a lot of people fail the 1 hour. I've now gained 11 pounds and I am worried the weight is going to start packing on now. Baby shower is this Saturday and I am so so so excited. I've never had one before.

Beth!!! It's good to hear from you!!! And glad to hear that you and your family is having a relaxing summer! I haven't started an FET yet, I have to do a hystroscopy or whatever it's called first...I've had one done but they want to do another, sooooo after that an FET I guess. We're really not in any hurry, it's nice having a break!!! So maybe you'll try it again?? I know exactly what you mean about debt!!! I just figure, hell the credit card is already screaming...why not pack on some more so we can pay on it for another 10 years??? LOL!!! UGH, it's frustrating! I think I need to go play some slots...

Barbarella good to hear from you too and so happy your scan went well and your lil' one is doing good!!! I just know it's all going to work out for you!!! Let us know how it goes on the 19th!!! Sending wishes to your mom as well, my dad went through the same thing but is great now. Lots of hugs your way!!!

Hi girls ~ Just a quick update from today before I take my nightly walk.

Addison's heart looks wonderful, perfect!!! I had my echo and they said that everything looks great, no need to come back and see them again for follow up.

Then when I walked out of that appt I got a call from my OB- I failed my 3 hour glucose test and I have gestational diabetes. I am so frustrated. I have walked nightly, I don't eat terrible and I have only gained 11 pounds so far. SUCKY!!! I don't know exactly what this means yet other than I have to test my blood 4 times a day. They are mailing me a glucometer and I picked up my poky things and my test strips today. I have an appt on Friday to meet with my doctor to discuss diet and everything else.

Barbarella ~ You should be fine, I think it is safe to travel until the final trimester. I would put a call in to the RE though just to make sure. They will let you know for sure.

Just thought I should get our thread moved to the top girls!!

I'm just finishing up my last night of working three night shifts like I do every other weekend- I'm tired!!!!

Anyhow, I just read through all the posts I've missed- lots going on.

Donni- Glad all is well with Addie and that the echo went well. Sorry to here about the diabetes- the good part is that as soon as you have Addie, the diabetes should go away- right? Hope you are doing ok.

Well I called about my hystescopy today and being that my AF was completely messed up from last IVF, they are waiting until next month to do it. Then I am doing Clomid with an FET. NO OTHER DRUGS. ZIP! ZILCH! NADA! Told them I'm done with all that. LOL. So by September 8th, I'll know more dates.

Hi Everyone.... my boss is in your neck of the woods, he is in sweet home Alabama yippee its so quiet without him...

well had my scan today and I have now graduated from ARU I am now Antenatal yippppeeee I cannot believe it. i will scan in my piccie shortly and I will send it on, one of the pictures the baby looks like a fish. I saw its fingers and it moved like a jumping bean I cannot beleive my eyes...

I had a great time with all the family, My mum is recovering from her op and gets her results back next wednesday...fingers crossed.

Faith - Thats sounds better no drugs...But what is Clomid?

Beth - Hope you and DD are both well!

Laura - Hope you are having a fab summer..

Donni - Will the diabetes go when you have had Addie? Did you have a test for Downs Syndrome as I cannot remember you having this test I think I have to have a blood test at 15 weeks?
