HI Wibbs

Lovely to hear from you - I wondered where you had disappeared to! I know what you mean about time going quickly!! I went to see my midwife a couple of weeks ago and I was 22wks and she measured me and told me I was the same size as a singleton at 29-30 weeks! Then she laughed for some reason.......! Will remeasure with our more scientific methods....using bog roll!

We have a scan on Monday which is really exciting!! Did you read my post about my placenta praevia - bummer! Still, I've had no bleeding so it doesn't seem to be affecting anything at the moment - the scan will show if there has been any movement. My babies are lying in 'bunk beds', one of top of the other horizontally (as opposed to one either side with heads down!) so there is no chance of natural delivery anyway. (phew!) 8)

I had a really bad nightmare that I was about to have c/s and they had forgotten to give me an epidural.......have you been having wierd vivid dreams? Very strange!

Funny you should mention about bending over. When I take Arthur and Jeremy for a walk, Arthur wants me to throw sticks all the time, which means I have to bend down to pick them up -this is getting v.tricky! I've found if I adopt the most unlady-like position of bending the knees outwards and squatting (rather like a frog!!) this is much easier. The hard bit is getting back up again.........this was particularly tricky when it was snowing!!!

Val - I'm guessing you haven't got the issue of snow!!!! Lucky you. How are you? You've gone v.quiet again!!! hope you and your little girl are doing ok. :)

Wibbs have you bought much stuff yet? I'm off to look at cotbeds/changing tables today - they all look the same! Our bugaboo pushchairs arrive on Wednesday - hurrah!!! The rest of the stuff we have bought is up in the attic bedrooms out of the way otherwise I'd be forever playing with it all!

I just want the babies to hurry up and come now so I can start using all our new things!! I guess the countdown begins soon! We've been told to be ready between 34-37weeks now, which means I could have my babies here in 10 weeks time - scary!!!

You take good care of yourself!!

love nikola.xx

ps you are right about tracey sharp going to be huge! I'd offer to lend her my maternity clothes but I really don't they will fit her - she'll need a much bigger size!!!  :D
