I just got the call that I trigger tomorrow YAY! But she told me to I had super big follies, and may loose a few? My biggest is 25MM, followed by 3 22 MM, then about 10 between 16 & 18MM...
Is this bad.. I have been monitored the last three days in a row. Why did they let them get sooo big???
mmm- I dunno, but Im sending good thoughts your way. Every clinic seems so differant, so I think it depends. i have heard differnt things about follie sizes, but I am sure someone will write soon to send you some relief- I would like to know the answer to the question

Sounds great to me. You should get some great eggs from those big follicles.

So big is good? I have just never seen numbers that big anywhere. I was afraid they were tooo big.

We get them that big. Bigger is better...for the eggs. However, the longer stim to get those large follicles is often worse for the endometrium.

Big is good to a point. My friend got a mature egg from a 26mm folli and I got a mature egg from a 13.8 folli.
They were probably trying to get the smaller ones to be mature without over growing the large ones. I have often wondered whether the best one was the biggest one. I think there is some debate on this but no proof that it matters. My guess is you will get lots of nice embies. This sounds very promising! Man I wish I had that many at that size!!!!!

Interesting! That makes sense. I was definitely paranoid about losing my top follicle when I only has five of them. Seems that one that responds the fastest would be a good one! Just seems to make sense to me!
