Thank you all for your kind words. You all made me cry. I am doing better today except I am nauseous and have a headache. I decided to stay home from work. DH and I are doing better today. He is great. We are looking on the bright side....I can get pregnant and this will work.
I am hoping the methotrexate does its job so that we can start again. We are determined. I guess that is a good thing.

To all going for ER/ET today and tomorrow...thinking about you all.

Muggsey,Chris, and Kas - Hope your ER's went well.

hoping - The metho shot will make you nauseus. It can feel like a hangover because it messes with your liver. Make sure you take a lot of vitamins. When you start getting ready to start again make sure you take lots of folic acid as the metho shot wipes you clean. I took prenatal vit. and then also to a seperate folic acid shot to help rebuild my levels. Take care.

I just got back from my ER and they were able to retrieve 8 eggs from the right side. :D That is up 2 from last time. Unfortunately, they were unable to get the 4 on the left side again.:( My ovary is so high and they were worried about hitting my intestines.

So I can't wait to hear tomorrow how my eggies are doing. Going to eat something and then lay down. Take care everyone.

Turtles - Congrats on the 8 eggs. Glad you got more then last time.

Muggsey and Kas - Hope your ER's went well.

I got back a couple of hours ago from ER. It is really strange but I feel a lot better now that my ovaries aren't as huge. They were able to retrive 6 or 7 eggs. I thought the RE said 6 but DH said 7 so who knows. I have never been put under anesthesia before so it really freaked me out that one minute I was listening to nurses talking and the next minute I woke up in the recovery room. They didn't even warn me that I was going under. It is now done and over with. Some part of me wishes that I could of stimmed longer and possibly got more eggs but I only need one so I am not going to worry about that now. I will keep you all posted on my fert report.

Oh and I had chinese food for dinner last night. My fortune said "Your present plans are going to succeed." Hopefully this cancels out the phycic reading that I had that stated I will have a chemical pg in Sep. I thought the phycic was crazy when she said that because at that time I was doing a cycle in July and thought well if I had a chemical it would be July or Aug not Sep. Little did I know my cycle would be cancelled in July and I would have a Beta test in Sep. Ya never know what can happen.

I am off to take a nap, good luck to all.

Well is offically a BPN. I did a beta at work and it came back negative. I wonder if i can ask to stop the progesterone today. I guess this means I have to save money again or get good insurance in MA to cover IVF.

Baby Crazy: You and I share the same ER, ET and Beta! Good luck with everything. How many did they transfer?

I thought I felt a few symtoms this morning but it could be phantom pregnancy pains.... i hope they come back! You are right that it's different for everyone. My past pregnancies (all m/c) I have felt a pressure-like feeling on my lower center/right abdomen and fatigue but did not have any symptons until the end of the 2nd week after conception.

I will POAS too... do not want to hear news from clinic. I was thinking about Friday morning (8/22) but that might be too early. In the meantime, I'm trying to keep busy by focusing on stuff like my work, cooking and staying positive.

Rosario I am so sorry to hear your news. I think you should still go to your clinic and get your test just to have your cycle finalized. At that point they should schedule a follow up to discuss the cycle. The follow up visit was at no charge at my clinic it was charged as a post surgery follow up and my insurance covered my BETA(an my insurance covers nothing.)

Wow, if you stay off this thread for a day you are out of the loop!

JHarris, Hoping, and Rosario I am so sorry to hear your news. I will keep you in my prayers. I truly believe in "what is meant to be", so I believe it will happen for you when the time is right. There is probably nothing I can say to make you feel better, other than I am thinking of you all.

Babyloves Twins?? I just caught that on the update list! That's awsome! My DH is hoping for twins, then he says we can be done, he wants two kids. I'll be happy with whatever God has planned for us! Congratulations!

Congratulations to all the BFP's! Keep those betas climbing!

Good luck to the ER/ETs coming up in the next few days (or past few days)!

Fellow stimmers, grow eggs grow, we are almost there!

Those in cycles and waiting, it's the warm up before the race, so enjoy time to prepare!

As for me, I started stimming on 8/14. I went for bw/us on 8/18 and had 5 follies on the right, 4 on the left, all 10-12mm. RE was happy they are all the same size and impressed with the left ovary for doing well considering I have minimal good tissue left because of endometriomas. She didn't tell me any blood levels, but that afternoon said to drop from 2 Bravelle to 1 Bravelle and come back tomorrow (8/21). I am a little nervous I had a discharge today (it felt like AF) but it was clear with 2 very small white round "clumps"? Enough fluid that it went through my pants. (I don't mean to be graphic, sorry if I offend anyone). Those wouldn't be eggs would they? Anyone else have this? I didn't see it as a side effect of the meds on the list they gave me (unlike the daily headaches). I'm going to the RE in the morning, so no point in worrying tonight. Has anyone heard of the body releasing by itself too early? I hope not since I cut back on meds and it's only been 2 1/2 days since the last us. That would stink to go through all this and release too early. I feel like a chicken or penguin laying eggs, I don't know why that's the image I keep thinking of!

Sorry if I missed anyone, I am thinking about all of you. I keep reading the list of names and where everyone is. It's easier and more fun to think/worry/get excited about everyone else so I don't think about myself!

Good afternoon ladies...I can't keep up with all of you when I get home...lots of action and that's wonderful !

hoping4~ Sounds like you're up to a great start with your stims! I don't think you have to worry about that discharge, I'm not sure what those little white balls are but they can't be your eggs as they are much smaller than you could see. Maybe your nurse has an answer for you! I don't think you would ovulate so early either. Sometimes I worry about that too but we're monitored closely and I've never heard of it happening like that. Good luck tomorrow. :)

Rosario~ I'm so sorry about your BFN....I really thought you would get pregnant. Never an easy moment to live and you are in my thoughts ...a good cry with DH will help and know that you are very young and with many more possibilies to get pregnant. We don't have much choice but try again...once we find the funds :wink: {{{{hugs}}}}

Chris~ I'm glad ER went well and that you have 6 or 7 eggs. That's very good and crossing my fingers for the best fert. report tomorrow.
Forget about your psychic and just trust what the chinese say...they know what they're talking about!

alimoyni~ Hooray on an another BFP...good number and wishing that the next numbers will rise just like it should. How exciting, I'm so happy for you! :D :D

Turtles~ Wow...8 eggs from one side is reaaaally good. I'm sorry they couldn't reach the other one but better have you safe than take that risk. The good thing is that the ovary they can reach seems to produce more than the other one! :D

hopinginpa~ I'm so glad you are feeling better and I see that you're strong and ready for the next cycle. I had the same feeling and was happy to know I could get pregnant, it's a comforting thought. You'll get your baby real soon...

horsegrl~ welcome to our very busy thread!! Do you know how many follies you had? What does your RE considering a few? Because I know what a few are :? If he was concerned, he would have upped the dose. Try and stay relaxed.

JJJake~ Once you are put on the ganirelix, you keep doing that until they have matured...a few days, it depends on how fast you respond. Could be 2,3,4 or more days.

If you feel 4 months prego right now, make sure you talk about that to your nurse. Do you know if you've gained weight since you started? Water retention could be a sign of OHSS that you have to be aware of and should monitor. You might want to drink some gatorade. But please let your nurse know.

About the E2 numbers they represent the estrogen that the eggs are releasing and the mm are millimeters and represent the size of each follie. Hoew they truly relate to one another, that I'm not entirely sure as you will read what I'll write about me later.

Kas~ Did you get your 4 follies? How are you feeling tonight? Can't wait to hear your report!

Muggsey~ How is my left ovary sister doing? Didn't you have ER today? How are you doing and how many follies did you get? Let me know.

Much Hope and Amanda~ How are you both doing and how are the stims coming along? Grow follies, GROW !!

As for me, well it's a very confusing situation. My E2 numbers nearly doubled!!! from 960 to 1,864 in 3 days!!! Yikes...and you would think that I would have fantastic follies with that, right? Wrong...The leader of the pack is at 18mm and then I have a 14,13 and 12 mm. What is taking me soooo long? I can't figure it out. So, I keep stimming and they increased my meds to 4 bravelle and 2 menopur for tonight and then the regular 3 and 1 for the morning. I had to order more meds and will have to wait until I get them in the morning, do my injection and head back to the RE's office. If I went to retrieval now, I would only get one follie. So I keep stimming and hope the leader hangs on but it will give me a chance to have 3 follies at least. The leader might lose it's egg. But I'd rather have 3 than one.
I had a tough time with PMA for a little while but I feel much better now. I know my baby is one of those and he said my lining looked beautiful and was at 13. That makes me feel good.

I hope I didn't miss anyone, although it would be easy to do with such a crazy, busy thread.

Much love and baby/embies / follies dust....

Rosario- ((((HUGS)))) I am so sorry that this didn't work out for you. I hope you can figure out what you can do next. I know it is hard and even though you are young it doesn't make it any easier when it doesn't work for us. Good Luck to what ever you decide to do next. Please keep us updated.

JJJake~ OHSS is Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome.

http://www.ivf.com/ohss.html This link will best explain what it is. In most cases it doesn't get to be severe, but you should monitor what's going on. Let me know how you're doing. Best of luck, I hope you don't have that!
