transfer

Post by muggsey24 »

Well ladies I got a call this morning and I am scheduled for my transfer in the morning at 10:00. I am excited but nervous. They do not check the embryo on day 2 so I am praying it is still growing and dividing as it should. Praying this is a fighter and that everything will be okay!!! Look like several other ladies will be transferring tomorrow also. I told Dh that he would have to do the house work and cooking for the next two days =) He will be happy to do it if everything is okay=) Hope you ladies have a great weekend and I will post when I can.

My work is really pissing me off. They keep on blocking more and more stuff. I posted earlier today while at work and I had no problems. Then i tried to post later on today and I was denied. Now I have to wait till I get home to post anything. I know I really shouldn't be surfing the net while I am at work but I am addicted to surfing. At least I can still look at what is going on with everyone, I just can't reply.

Kas - I wouldn't worry about the 3 day transfer. My RE does 3 days if they don't have a lot of embies to choose from. If there are a lot of embies they let them go to 5 days to try and get the best embies. I am doing a 3 day transfer because I only have 3 and they will be transferring all 3 because of my age. There is no reason to let them go to 5 days and some experts believe that the best place for the embies is inside the womb. I have never heard of anyone doing AH the day of transfer but I really haven't seen a lot of ladies that have done AH. Sorry that they were not too clear on what was going on with your embies. Could they have possibly done AH when the eggs were fertilized?

Muggsey, Kas, and Turtles, wishing you all good luck on transfer tomorrow. Hope all your little embies are growing and dividing.

I didn't get a fert report today. The clinic doesn't check on the embies on day 2, they just leave them alone so the can divide without interuptions. I go in for my transfer at 9:30 CST tomorrow. I am praying that all my little guys are hanging on and want to come home to mommy.

Well I had my ET today and everything went great. We transferred 2 embies 1 is a 8 cell grade 2 the other is a 5 cell grade 2+. They go to 4 at our clinic. Out of the 9 we started with 7 fertilized, 1 didn't make it, 2 we transferred, and 4 they are going to keep watching and if they get to blasts they are going to freeze them. I am officially PUPO and very excited. Now I am just waiting until 9/3 for my beta.

Hello Ladies!

shellbell - Glad to hear you ET went well today. I will keep good thought for 9/3 and your first beta.

to_have_fun and muggsey24 - I will be thinking of you tomorrow for your transfer. It's "home sweet home" for the little guys

Kas101 - Glad you figured out your heartburn....that is definitely not fun! Only 2 more days!

toobee - It looks like a good fertility report to me!!

turtlesonastump - I laughed out loud at what your DH said to the embies!!

I had another U/S and BW today. It is my Stim Day 8. I had 9 follicles ranging from 10 to 14mm. My doctor is keeping me on the same doses of my meds and I go back on Sunday. He thinks I might do my ER on Wednesday. I am getting very excited and a bit nervous. They are good nerves though.

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone and their families. Have a wonderful weekend.

Hey ladies
Just a quick update I'm soooo sorry that I can't do personal right now I just got off of work  (hopinginpa I'm a fire/paramedic for philly fire dept.)

Ok I have been told by my RE first that I need to lower my already 200iu of follistim because my follicle were growing to fast :?
So I was placed on 100iu and started the garnirelix and my app. was pushed up to this morning...well the doctor saw me to measure and tells me "you are hypersensative to the medication". So what does that mean I TRIGGER ON SUNDAY AND MY ER IS ON TUESDAY......

Thank you god and thank you to you guys.....I will do my personals later gotta go eat.

Val Any news yet???? I saw on another thread you were getting concerned over stimming for so long and i wondered if there has been any progress??? Thinking about you so let us know how you are doing X X

Muggsey Good luck for ET tomorrow. I also transfer at 10.00am. Seems our cycles have been in sync from the start - lets hope we can get a BFP together as well!! :D

To have fun Good luck for you tomorrow as well and i think Turtles too !!!! Thanks for the input on the AH.... I dont really understand the timing either. I thought i read somewhere that AH makes a hole in the outer shell much the same as ICSI and if you have ICSI you dont need AH. BUT who knows??? ALL my trust is in the RE and all my faith is in God over this!!! I will also be transferring all 3 due to age so no frosties ( hopefully i wont need them anyway!)

Shellbell Congrats on the ET!!! I hope you get some great blasts from the remaining embies !!! Tomorrow lots of us will be joining you on the 2WW!!!

Toobee Sorry about the OHSS - sounds really miserable for you. Hope you fell better soon and keep us updated as and when you can manage it X X X

Horsegrl 9 follies is great !!!! Keep growing, sounds like you're doing a good job there and i'm happy you are excited.

JJJake Yay!! GLad you get to trigger - the end is in sight!!!

JJJake-Good news on your ER! I have an appt tomorrow morning, then they will decide if I have the ER on Monday or Tuesday. I am a firefighter/medic in Fairfax County, VA. When you get pregnant are you going on light duty right away or are you going to keep working? This has been on my mind, I've heard of women who have done both.

Good evening girls!!

Lots going on, I'm going to try and catch up :D

Kas, Turtles, Muggsey and Chris~ Wow, you are already transferring your little embies!
They are all singing Michael Buble's 'Home'

Let me go home
I’m just too far from where you are
I wanna come home....

I'm wishing you the best...ET is a piece of cake and you will all be happy to be PUPO!!! :D :D

Shellbell~ Congrats on ET and I'm crossing my fingers that all your other embies make it to blast so you can have frosties.

JJJake~ You stim too fast and I stim too slow...I must be thick skinned  . Sunday is already your trigger. Congrats !1 you must be really happy. I'm happy for you too! :D

horsegrl~ Good job on those follies. You've got good numbers!! Grow follies, grow.

Toobee~ I'm sorry you're dealing with OHSS, I was afraid that's what you had. Take good care of yourself. Sounds like you have fantastic embies there. You're in my thoughts!

Turtles~ I'm sorry that 2 of your embies are not as good quality as the others. But, keep the PMA going as I read on this thread that a girl got pregnant with a very poor quality embryo that her Re wouldn't transfer. She insisted and she's now pregnant. You've got one good little turtle going there. Remember...bring her back to your ocean..

Much Hope~ How are you doing sweetie? How many follies do you have? I hope your appointment went well today. Let us know how you're doing! I keep you in my thoughts!

Chris~ Sorry you can't post during work anymore. I don't post during work either but I don't have the possibility to post anyways. so I
have to wait until I get home too!

alimoyni~ Hope you get a fantastic third beta! I've got my fingers and toes crossed for you!

Well here is my report at last.
I had to do orchid deliveries to a couple people tonight and then I had to have dinner and at 9pm I finally triggered!!!! :D :D The follies look good. I have 5 of them with the smallest one around 14.5 mm and the biggest one around 22mm. Please pray that I have an egg in each one of them!
I'm still uncomfortable with the idea of ET because I'm afraid I will miss the endometrium receptivity window. My DH says to trust RE and go ahead with ET. He is now so anxious to find out my numbers every time we go for BW. My E2 numbers are really good @ 2,419.
I've got to keep my PMA up ...it hasn't been easy today, kind of feeling pessimistic. I don't like that. Tomorrow will be a better day.

Gathering all the baby dust and sending it to all of you.

Much love,

JJJake - Good news on your trigger...I'll keep you in my thoughts on Sunday for sure!

Val - YEAH!!! It looks like you have been stimming for awhile. Your follies look great! I will pray for an egg in them all. You are doing a great job keeping the PMA up. It is hard....like a roller coaster those darn PMA's are!! You are in my prayers!

Val~Five follies is TERRIFIC!! I have read that slow-stimming results in stronger eggs--so please do not despair. I betcha there is a strong, wonderful egg in each one. Let us know as soon as you go for retrieval. I am thinking of you!

more personals later--finally returned from holiday today and trying to get it together!

Muggsey, Kas, and Chris - Good luck tomorrow ladies. Let's get knocked up  I go in at 8:30 cst. I am finishing cleaning the house so it is a little easier on DH. He is clueless in the kitchen. Lots of canned soup for me. :)

Val
- Wow, I am so happy that you finally got to trigger. That is kinda cool that you cycle is matching the Olympics. Maybe you will have a future Olympian in there. Good luck tomorrow and keep that PMA up. I know I get down. I was more upset because I thought AP would have upped my egg quality yet this time is worse :( I got one great one though. Don't like that Fay is heading my way. Looks like a yucky weekend weatherwise for me. Having gone through Katrina and Ivan, I don't need anymore

JJJake- Yeah on triggering on Sunday!! Enjoy your shot free day.

toobee
- Sorry you are having OHSS problems. Take it easy and I hope things clear up for you soon.

shellbell - Glad transfer went well for you. Lots of sticky dust to you!!

Well, better get to bed. Need to be rested for 3 days of bed rest coming up

SueQiwi~ Welcome back from your holiday! Thanks for your encouraging words. I think that the eggs will be strong. But everything I thought would happen has not happened so far except that I would have liked 5 follies and I got that. But I thought I would stim for a shorter period, I thought my numbers would be close to last time and they were twice as much. Maybe I should stop thinking so much and let go some more. ( I'm watching the Olympics 10m dive and the commentator just said about a diver that I thinks too much and should let go more) ..just what I'm writing at the same time!
Remember when I was thinking that I had found how to let go, I have to go back to that place and really let nature do its own thing. Feel that wonderful feeling again...I felt so empowered!

Turtles~ I'm doing AP as well and I think it has helped me calm down a lot and that's very beneficial. The PMA is tough to keep up there but I never feel so anxious like I felt during the first cycle. My nerves feel totally in check. Poor DH caught all my PMS last time and wondered where his wife had gone! :D
You've got one good little fighter in there, so keep your PMA too girl!
