Anyone starting October/November FET/IVF cycle?

Post by Thechosenone »

Hello everyone, I hope that i have some cycle buddies. I'm going through my third cycle with this whole IVF thing. I had 2 fresh and I will be having my FET in October/November. I will be transferring 3 embies in...prayerful that is all they have to thaw...I will have 7 left. I got pregnant w/ my 2nd IVF, but it ended in a blighted ovum. I've been pregnant 5 times and no baby, So this will be it, I know it will. I have no doubt. So anyone want to jump on board, let me know the situation. Oh my only IF problem were my tubes. key word, were. My right tube is surgically blocked due to a hydrosalpin ( didn't want them taking my tube out). I had 2 ectopics in my left tube, so that had to go.

I too will be going through a FET in October/November. September will actually be a mock cycle where my RE takes an endometrial biopsy to make sure we are timing the transplant with when my uterus is most receptive. Although I have had 2 prior FET that have resulted in chemicals, we have never tested my lining (we are at a new clinic this round). I am excited to try something new. I pray this is our time. It has to be :)
ME-29 (stage IV endometriosis; maybe poor egg quality) DH-28 (perfect)
IVF#1 & 2 - BFN
3 FETs - all chemicals
IVF#3 - 31 frozen day 1 embies
FET - 6/12/09- BFP
Beta #1-522 Beta #2 -1899 u/s shows twins!
3 blast frosties & 16 day 1 frosties

Hello,

I too fill be going through a FET in October/November. My first IVF procedure was in May which resulted in 8 embies, 2 were transferred and 6 were frozen. It did not result in a pregnancy. I am still learning all the lingo for these message boards :D Does anyone know where to find an on-line dictionary for all of these acronyms?

Anyway, on August 1st we thawed 3 and 2 survived. FET #1 resulted in a chemical pregnancy and we are planning to have FET #2 with the last 3 in Oct/Nov. I have been diagnosed with Endometriosis and a very mild case of PCOS, my husband is just fine.

wishing4baby & thechosenone, I will be praying for you that this is your time. I understand the pain and disappointment of not being able to get pregnant (my dh and I have been ttc for almost 4 years). I have decided that I am going to start thinking of this journey as my hobby. I may even go so far as to write "IVF" on forms when they ask for my interests.

When do you start stimming? (Hope that's the right word!)

Take Care!

I will be doing a donated FET but I will be having mine on Sept 10. This will be my 3rd round of IVF. The first one was last Aug and it was a fresh cycle with an egg donor. I got a BFP! Sadly I miscarried at 9 1/2 weeks. My 2nd round was a donated FET in May...it was a chemical pregnancy. So I am hoping its 3rd times the charm. I wish everyone nothing but the best of luck :)
