baby_crazy - GOOD LUCK ON YOUR BETA!!!!!

Val - Hoping you got your 5 good follies. YEAH you finally made it to ER.

soready73 - Looks like you get to start stims really soon. I know all the stims drive us batty but it is so good to start it because that is one step closer to being PG.

Much Hope - I am so glad that you get to go to ER and your cycle was not canceled. That is awesome that your daughter would be willing to donate eggs for you to have a child. Good luck with ER, make sure you keep us posted on your FERT report.

JJake and Toobee - both of you seem to be in limbo on when your next step will be. Good luck to both of you.

Misfixit03 - Welcome to the board. Hope your stay here is short and sweet.

Hope everyone has a good day, I am back to working on this stupid Java program. DH said that at least with me working on this stupid program I am doing with the RE said and staying off my feet. I told him that "yes" I am off my feet but the stress probably isn't good.

Oh and did I say "YEAH no more antibotic today"?

Thanks Chris for updating our list. It is looking nice. My beta is 9/5. I have tried to post a picture of my embie but I cant figure out how to do it. Oh Well, you all know what they look like.

Val - praying for you and your ER. Praying for mature eggs!!!!!!!!

Chris - hope your java class goes well. At least you can do that while you are on bed rest.

baby_crazy - WOW! your beta is tomorrow. Have you POAS? I am going to try and not do that.

Jenolina - I only had only little fighter also. But it only takes one =) One of my friends just found out she was pregnant and only transferred one. So it can happen!!

Looks like several of us will all have our betas on the same day. Are any of you planning on POAS. I am afraid to because of a false neg.

Babyloves - congrats on twins! I must of missed that somewhere.

Hopininpa and jharris - I am so sorry for your loss. Know that I am praying for you both!

Rosario and Biddy - I am sorry things didnt work out this time. Thinking of you!

Hi girls!!

For once I'll give my report first...just in case I fall asleep in the middle of this post :D !

ER went really well and they got 5 eggs out of my 5 follies!!! :D :D :D
I'm so happy and started to cry in the hen house when I found out!
I spoke to the embryologist to find out how they looked and she said it was too early to tell as they have to incubate them first. They are doing ICSI this afternoon, perhaps as we speak! I'll have a report on that tomorrow.
What a relief...I have 3 more then the last time.

You girls have been so encouraging and supportive and I just wanted to say how much it has meant to me. You are awesome!!!

Much Hope~ You're in my thoughts for your ER!!! you will have 3 beautiful eggs in there and one of them is your future baby! I feel that you or more of those eggs is my future baby(ies)! Congrats on triggering!

Muggsey~ I really hope you have a good little fighter in there and that you'll be a Mommy once more! Take it easy..

Chris~ Sorry about the stress from that Java program. Try and stay cool as it's not good for your embies! They come first
Thanks for my smiley next to ER! I love it. And soon, I'll be sliding down that list!

Amanda~ WOW for your 20 eggs!! That's too fantastic! I really hope that you have more quality eggs than before and that you get plenty to choose from. I will love to hear about your report! Tough situation you have there, I will keep you in my thoughts!

Kas~ You made me laugh with your valium story. I never take those except during ER and ET and it hits me like a ton of bricks too.
Congrats on being PUPO! Take it easy for a few days and let those beautiful embies snuggle in!

Msfixit~ Thank you ! You do an amazing job for keeping up with us and jumping in there like that. I know it's not easy and a bit overwhelming at first.
I'm sorry I didn't answer you sooner but I had company over yesterday and had to leave early for ER this morning.
Endometrium receptivity is the time window we have during which the embryos start implanting. That window lasts a few days each cycle. I was wondering if I would be out of that...kind of like the track and field relay where you are out of the race if the baton is not passed during that allotted space.
I was still under anesthesia when I asked my RE about that and he said that I can't look at it like a regular cycle because they manipulate the cycle. I felt better hearing that. Glad DH was there because he could remind me of what he said.

JJJake~ Any good news from you? Did you go back today? Still thinking about you

Babycrazy~ How are you? How's the PMA? Beta is tomorrow and I'm thinking about you! Have you caved in and POAS?
Good luck!

Many of you are having their beta on Sept.5 and that's my grandfather's birthday...He's watching over you

I'm sure I'm missing someone...I'll check again later and I might go take another nap.

Much love,

Much Hope~ Thank you! And I read what I wrote and what I meant to say was : I feel like you that , one or more of those eggs is my future baby(ies). I guess the valium is still active because what I wrote was incomprehensible.

On the way to ER, I was talking to DH about my job and how I would handle it once pregnant. For those who don't know, I take care of private orchid collections. A physical job to say the least., plus the heat to totally wear you down!
One place, I work 2 full days a week and the property is so large that they have golf carts. I was telling DH that I may not have a choice but to tell them from very early on so that I could ask for the golf cart. Right now, the other regular workers each use one. So, DH said that I would have to be very careful because the cart could tip over very easily. And I answered: I'm not going to get THAT BIG! We both laughed so much. He meant of course that there is a lot of uneven grounds there and to be careful.

On a more serious note, I don't really know how I'm going to manage work and pregnancy, still a dilemma for me and I spoke about it before. I can't be put on desk duty like JJJake. It's so hard to find the balance between working enough and too much.... and if I were to listen to my body, I'd probably would take the first 3 months off. :D
I'm taking at least a week off once I'm PUPO.
RE said we would do a 5 day transfer if at all possible. I had a 5 day transfer last time, so I believe I can do it again.

val - Congrats on your 5 eggs!!! That is awesome. I'll be praying for another awesome fert report. :)

Chris - Glad transfer went well. Sorry your Java class is causing you trouble. I am starting a web programming class next week. I am glad it didn't start last week. I wouldn't be able to concentrate at all which you need to be able to program. What do you do? Are you a college student or is it for your job? I am in graduate school, but taking it easy with one class at a time. Only two more to go. :) Hope you get your program figured out.

msfixit - One thing I have learned from this board is that every clinic is different regarding bed rest. Some have none to 4 or 5 days. They just want to be extra cautious about your embies implanting. I figure it can't hurt and considering I have fallen twice in the last couple of weeks, it is better if I am not moving around a lot. :)

kas - Valium can make you loopy. They have me take it 45 min. before and I was already at the hospital. Glad your transfer went well. I was also given Sept. 5th as my beta date, but I will be out of town so I will see if I can get it done a few days early. Makes the 2ww a little less if I do

muggsey - Alright on your little fighter there. That is great it is a 8 cell beautiful embie. Take it easy I will be praying for you.

amanda
- Woo Hoo on your 20 eggs. Hope they are all great quality for you.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Fay didn't give us the rain I thought it would. We did lose power for a while last night. Take care everyone and sticky dust to all us 2ww!!

Hey Guys,
Man I feel like I havnt posted in forever! So much is going on with this thread its both excting and craziness. I am posting some personals, I probably missed some , but please forgive me- My mind is slow these days.

Much Hope- I beleive you will have good eggs in those follies! Think positive thoughts, and believe with all your heart!

Muggsey- My ET is Tues, I am doing a day 5 transfer. Thanks for asking :) Believe Believe Beleive that the little one growing inside you will be yours!!!

Chris- Are you a web programmer??? I am an animator and worked with allot of pprogammers in my time for both film and video games- I hope your hours arent to long and the stress is not to much for you. Im sending good vibes your way- Our industry can be brutal on the body-

Amanda-Good lord thats allot of eggs- I think its a safe bet you got a good amount to work with and Im sure you have some great eggies!

Kas- Congrats on making it this far and now in your 2ww! I will be joinging you intwo days I hope. I belive in the power of thought- and visualization. Just imagine your embryo implanting into your warm scrumptious lining thats soft and thick with warmth and love- Ok that is a little graphic, but my mind is full of cartoons :)

Msfixit- Hey girl, Hows it going for you so far?? To answer a 2 day old question. Diuretics are differant than drinking allot fo water in my book. Coffee is a natural diuretic and has allot of chemical compunds for instance that strip things like calcium from your body unlike the cleaning effects of water. I am probaby not explaining it right because I dont know the ins and outs and I am not a scientist. I have just read allot of badness over the years that tell woman to stay away form caffeine just before and during pregnancy. But as a former huge coffee drinker, and chocolaholic, I have given it up. Some peope say you can have up to 300 milligrams a day safely. Other studies say to eliminate it completely. I dont know your age, But Im 38 going on 39 so I have enough to worry about :) I dont want to sound preachy, I just wanted to answer your questions as best as I could. Do your own research or talk to your RE- My RE said absolutely no coffee or caffeine at all especially in the 2ww and stimms.

Valerie- Hey Girl, how are you????? You must be stoked!!!! 5 eggs from one ovary??? you so rock. I am real confident you have 5 really high quality eggsn in there. Looks like we made it!!! Do you know when you'll transfer, or di you psot it and I missed it?? Ill keep the positive vibes flowing, When will you get a fert report soon??? Did i Miss that too??BTW what is PMA mean??? and what does CD9 mean, I know its cycle day 9 but when does a cycle start??? during stimms?? I m offically goober, but I really dont know :)

MY UPDATE: I went in for a sonogram today and the water in my abdomen is almost gone (mild OHSS). I didnt have allot to begin with, but good lord I was friggen uncomfortable and it really wore me out. I m feeling so much better and my stomach doesnt look like I ate a watermelon. My RE was concerned if we were looking at a day 3 transfer we may have to do FET cycle. It all worked out becuase our Fert Report said 5 day transfer. I currently have 8 strong embies working hard for me. I lost 3 from the 11 total eggs retrived but RE said that we had an eggsellent batch of embryos to work with. ( my husband took the call for our fert report, and I am a bit confused about some of the info so ill know more soon in a bit I hope, asking ghost) Also I did my first PIO shot. HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!! ladies, I think im going to be asking for suppositories. The shot itslef does not hurt at all- but my butt cheek afterwards feels like I excercised my butt off all day long- its actually sore and i did only one?????? I would like to think I am a trooperof sorts, but on this one I think I may be whimpy whimpy whimpy- Anyone have any suggestions???

Hppy Sunday,

Hello ladies!!

Boy...we really are all getting to very exciting times. So many of us are so close in cycles. I want to thank everybody for all of their posts as it has truly made this journey easier for me.

toobee_ I am so glad you are feeling better. Having a watermelon in your belly does not sound fun!! I think I would be a wimp too if my butt hurt that bad...my doctor gave me the vaginal suppositories. Good luck with that one!

val - your 5 eggs are great!!!! It is very hard to decide what to do about jobs while pregnant or trying to get pregnant. It sounds like you have a very physically active job. Orchids are beautiful but I have a hard time keeping mine alive!! I guess I am not very good with plants. I train and ride horses so I haven't been able to get on a horse since the stims started. They didn't want my ovaries to twist. I am not planning on riding while I am pregnant either. It is just not worth the chance. I know women can ride until 8 months pregnant but I have put so much time into this that it just doesn't seem worth it. I think my DH would be happier with me not on them too!

I just go back from the doctor and I have 15 follicles from 14mm to 22mm. I am ready to go!! I trigger tonight at 8:30 and my ER is on Tues at 8:30. I am so excited and I cried leaving the doctor. It is real and I can't wait!!!!

Thanks for everything...you guys are a rock!!

turtles - I'm glad Fay didn't give you too much rain. Sorry about the power outage...good excuse for relaxing candles.

Toobee~ It sounds like you have some terrific embies to work with...you can relax because you'll have enough blasts to transfer and have some more for frosties!! :D I wouldn't transfer 4 blasts but stay with 2. Blasts do have a better chance of implanting and you don't want to be carrying quads. It's dangerous for you and the babies. You're doing great...i'm truly happy for you!
Thanks for your reply, it makes me feel sooo good and you make me smile.
(you must have missed a few posts  ). Fert. report comes in tomorrow, I can't wait and yes, I'm so stoked. We'll try another blast transfer like last time. Can you believe that I had 2 eggs and that they waited for them to become blasts. Maybe they figured that if they didn't make it to blast that there would be no need to transfer. I'm feeling very confident! PMA= Positive Mental Attitude. I think CD( is for the 9th day of stims, but I could be wrong.
As for the PIO shots, I know ooohhh too well how bad they are. I was so allergic to them that my butt had swelled up to the point that I couldn't put my jeans on :? , I had hard lumps and patches 5in by 5in that were bright red and the pain was so intense I could hardly sit down or walk. I did that for nearly 2 weeks before I couldn't take it anymore. Make sure you massage the injection site immediately after you're done for 5 or 10 min and switch sides every day. Some recommend to ice the area before, which I tried but it doesn't make sense to me because oil that gets cold doesn't flow well at all. I'm starting suppositories tomorrow morning and they stay in place for me for about 7 1/2 hrs before they leak out. I'm really happy about that but they cost a fortune!

horsegrl~ YEAH for triggering already, you must be so happy. You've got lots of good follies that should give you beautiful eggs! :D
You do a job that I would have loved to do. I begged my Dad when I was young to go to a school in Genoa, Italy but that was out of the question. I rode horses a lot when I was young and lived in Belgium. I miss it so much! Better not ride the horses while pregnant, I can't see how that would be safe. I'd be so scared of losing the baby, way too much shaking around in there, no matter how good you are.

Turtles~ If you needed the rain, I'm sorry you didn't get it. We were drenched all week long with the feeder bands. That's ok, we need it.
Hope you're feeling good and letting DH pamper you.

We have an amazing thread going right here and I do believe in my heart that with all the support we give each other we are giving each other more than support, more than a smile, more than someone to listen to us, more than a shoulder to cry on....we are increasing each other's chances for getting pregnant. The power of positive thinking does more for us than we possibly can imagine.
I thank you all for being here, it warms my heart and soul and makes this journey absolutely beautiful...no matter the outcome. Just having you girls here makes it a very positive experience.
I wish that one day I could meet all of you...

kate~ You're probably having the time of your life in Sweden. We miss you and I can't wait to hear everything about your IVF experience over there. Perhaps you are already PUPO with beautiful embies! I don't doubt it one bit.

Have a great night and sticky baby dust.

Love and hugs to all!

Val-
did you see my fert report regarding my embies?? I made a post to Ghost regarding embryo report :) Check it out if you want :) Lemme know your thoughts

Ya know I cant believe they risked 5 day with you with two??? Where you nervous about that??? Did they tell you why?? Doesnt matter, it will work out, We all have some good mojo here. I am new to this as you know, and just figured out the 3 day transfer vs the 5 day transfer- Now I am trying to figure out what makes a good embryo to freeze??? Care to enlightne me??

Yes I have missed some posts- and to be quite franks I am a little lost on where everyone is at. Unfortunately I have allot of brain fog and get overwhelmed keeping up- I have had that it since I started with all the bad blaoting and stuff- And now the PIO is making me a little sleepy. I have been lucky, aside from my little bout wit OHSS, which was mild, I found this process a little easier then I thought. I had no mood swings except I am a bit flakey, no pain with the lupron or gonal. My biggest complaint has been the b/w, ohss of course, and now PIO. :)

But I hope to never hve to do this again!!!!!

PIO sucks  - but I am trying to think that no pain no gain, it makes me laugh :)

As far as work- thats a big decision huh?? UGG. I run my own shop, and have a partner who is handling all the big production stuff. So I have it allot easier then most. I planned for this for along time because its hard to gt away when people rely on you. Running my buisness is very stressful, So I decided to work part time and when I felt bad- I just dont work. But I dont get paid which is hard, but I felt I needed to give this my all. I believe it will all work out- :)
