JDC: No worries. I was 5 weeks 6 days and ALL we saw where the sacs. NOTHING else at all. That's really early to have a scan and expect to see much so please try not to freak out. I know very much easier said than done but don't worry about anything till there SOMETHING to be worried about.

welcome Tris!

It's very normal to only see sacs at 5 weeks. It's so very early! We had our US at exactly 5 weeks 1 day and saw sac and a little hint of white on the screen for yolk sac. Our next one is Thursday. Can't wait!!!!! We need to see if all 3 are doing ok or what the deal will be. Trying not to think about it until then.

I have been very dizzy and tired. Sleeping for 12 hours!

Thanks to all your responses. I do feel better now because my nurse called and said my hcg and progesterone levels were fabulous, and she felt everything will be just fine. My progesterone was above 40 and hcg 3,000+ (can't remember exactly!) 8)

Elisabethski - I'm not on estrace now, but my clinic will keep me on progesterone until mid september ( I guess around 8wks) and they told me to schedule an appt with my obgyn the last week of Sept. (9-10wks).

Has anyone else had terrible gas pains? I get these terrible sharp pains that scare the heck out of me, then after awhile I realize it was gas! They are scary! :?

Anatoak: Welcome to the board and congrats on being pg!!!

As far as m/s...ugh.... nauseous is my new first name. The last 2 days have been horrible!
Does anyone have tips that make them feel better?
This is what I have been doing, but am looking for more ideas:
1. Eat small meals throughouth the day
2. Lemonade
3. Fruit
need more ideas,nothing is working...:)

I know someone asked early about estrace and progesterone, and that is also a question that I wanted to know. How much is everyone on (doses and when they get to d/c it)
For me:
Estrace: 2mg twice daily, at 8 weeks go to 1 pill and d/c at 10 weeks
Progesterone in Sesame Oil: 1cc twice per day (yes, two shots a day!) up until 12 weeks
I am going to ask my RE if I can't change this protocol...maybe switch to Crinone.
Have a great day!

Hi Ladies,

For those of you who have very little symptoms, like myself I spoke to my mom last night who asks how I’m feeling every time I talk to her. So, I finally told her I wish I had more symptoms just to put my mind at ease. She told me with all 3 of us she didn’t have any symptoms and felt great. She said with her first pregnancy she spotted when she did too much, so that told her to slow down. Just thought I’d share to put some minds at ease.

I have actually felt a little dizzy, but I think that my reminder to eat. I’m kind of small and have always only 2 meals a day, so I’ve had to spread that out the last few days.

Triss22: Welcome! You must have posted as I was typing yesterday. Congrats, as well!

JDC: Glad to hear your nurse called and put your mind at ease. They really should give us the odds of what we will see and won’t see so we don’t freak out. As for the gas pains, I’ve been constipated from the pio and that has caused some discomfort and possibly my spotting the last few days??? The things we endure and the twinges that stress us out.

Elisabeth: My clinic has said I will be on pio until my 9th week, Sept 11 to be exact. I’m not on estrace though.

Sweetmomi: I’m sure all 3 are doing great and I can only imagine how dizzy and tired having 3 growing in there can make you!

Kim14: Sorry you are having so much m/s … hopefully it doesn’t last too long.

Antoak: I’m glad you found us. Yes, I’ve had to spread out my meals so I don’t get dizzy as well.

Hommy: I’m with you on wishing I could scan earlier … as I’ve said before, this is like the 2ww all over again!

Kimmysq: Sorry about your m/s. Wow, 2 shots a day? My clinic only has me on 1cc once a day??? As for any remedies, I heard sucking on crushed ice between your front teeth and gums. I haven’t tried it, so not sure if it really works.

Sorry, I didn’t do a personal for everyone, tried to respond to questions/comments.

I hope everyone is enjoying your weekend and I’ll catch up with you later.

Kimmsq - I always find that ginger ale is the best for nausea. Hope it helps.

Just getting back in town so trying to catch up to the weekend posts...

silverangel - Thanks for you post. It is reassuring to know that you also only saw the sacs and your technician said this was normal as you went in essentially on day before me. Looks we are on the exact same schedule as I am due April 14th too!! Keeping my fingers crossed for out little beans! I go back in on Tuesday.

angel of wishes - congrats on seeing the HB. I know you and DH must be thrilled. I had pretty bad nauseous but it seemed to go away as today I am feeling perfect! I hope that is a good thing.

Elisabethski - Thanks so much for thinking of me. I have been all over the map with my feelings on how things are going to turn out but I just have to hope for the best. I will let you guys know on Tuesday after my appt. I am glad your little scare turned out to be just that, a scare. Take care of yourself.

Hopeful - please let us know how your U/S goes on Tuesday. I'm sure everything will be great!

kimmy - glad you are getting some relief from the vitamin sickness. If you can find and asian grocery store look for ginger candy. I met a lady a work who has family in China and she bought me five bags of ginger candy. I usually don't like ginger but I held onto them knowing I was trying to get pregnant. They have helped with the nauseous.

Tris - congrats on the BFP. Your betas look great and I wouldn't rule out twins just yet. People with twins seems to be all over the map with beta numbers.

JDC- silverangel and I are in the same boat as you but you had your ultrasound a lot earlier than we did so I think you have an excellent prognosis. I think you went in really early to see anything. When is your next U/S? hang in there.

ndgo - Orgasms! I wish. My dr told me absolutely no orgasms and made me sign something to that affect that I wouldnt even think about having one for the first 12 weeks. SUCKS!

Just a note on the big "O". My RE also has me on pelvic rest for the first 12 weeks. I also got the letter in writing. I never asked why...I guess normal pg woman would be having sex???

dcdiva: I will check on the ginger candy. I will try anything!

I am sorry I am not doing more personals, but I just don't feel well. Looking forward to the u/s this week.

Hi All,

I'll have to make this short as I'm heading back to work tomorrow after my 3 week summer vacation.

Dcdiva: So glad to see you are back on the thread and sound more upbeat. I'm sure we'll both have great u/s on Tuesday!

Kimmysq: Sorry you are feeling so bad, hope it improves soon.

I hope everyone has a good Monday and I'll check in again with you tomorrow afternoon/evening.

ndgo82 - I just had to respond to your question "do I need help" on the ivf forum! OMG, I am in such a similar situation. I've been ttc for over 4 years now and finally got my bfp. My sil (who has battled bulimia her whole life and just got married last month) also announced she is preganant (3 wks ahead of me) She is also an attention seeker and at first my DH thought she was making it up to compete with us! Craziness. I'm not going to lie, I wanted to be the only one!! Now both our due dates are in April. And I have more selfish insanity - I feel like my sister got so much excitement and attention when she became pregnant last year (she is 7 yrs younger). Everyone was soooo thrilled because it was the first baby in our family in so long. Now I hate it because I have been resenting her, but she doesn't even ask how I feel or anything. We are separated by the miles but talk on the phone daily.

Thank you for listening to me vent! I think these hormones are making me irrational at times! [/b][/i]

Ok ladies. I noticed that there is an "Orgasm" conversation going on....lol. I haven't had that conversation with my doctor but my husband and I have decided that we're too paronoid to do anything till the first trimester is over no matter if we get the ok or not. But unfortunatly as a result I have them in my sleep occasionally (sorry about the TMI....lol)
It's something I can't help and have no control over. Has anyone heard that this is dangerous? And why has the RE put some of you ladies on "No Orgasm" restrictions? I've heard that as long as the cramping is mild and doesn't last too long it's just fine.
I hardly cramp after and haven't had ANY spotting.

Good morning everyone:

Can everyone please let me know what type of progesterone they are taking and how much....
It would really help me out when I talk to my RE.
