So if I got this straight, JJake, Much Hope and horsegrl all have ER on Tuesday. YEY!!!! Good Luck to all of you, keep us updated. This is like a soap opera, you got to tune in all the time to find out what is going on.

misfixit - I also do all my own shots, even the PIO. The nurse at the RE's office gave me a weird look when I told her I did those in my behind. I have a really big behind by the way :D . She didn't think I could do them on my own. Yes, it is kind of hard to pull up to make sure I didn't hit a blood vessel but I rather do them on my own. Dh is quit happy with that.

Msfixit~ By increasing your meds, you can get more follies that will show up. I'm not sure where they all of sudden pop up from, but they do. Why weren't they there in the first place? 6 is a decent number to start with but I'm sure you're going to get more!
TCM= Traditional Chinese Medecine, usually referring to AP ( acupuncturist).
PGD= Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis. They check the embies for genetic defects. I would not do it unless it's absolutely necessary. My Re said that it takes some cells out of the embies and could damage them.

Don't you worry one bit, we'll all be there for you when your time comes!!
A blast is an embryo that has developed to day 5 (sometimes they take 6 days to get there). It's the stage right before they hatch. I like this webpage as you can see the embies at different stages. I found it very interesting!

http://www.advancedfertility.com/blastocy.htm

As for that trigger shot, I'm a wimp and won't do the injections myself. DH has done them all for me!! Hey, I've come a long way to conquer my needle/injection/bw phobia and I'm just happy that I LET DH inject me. :D  If I really, really had to do, I'd bite the bullet and do it. But I think it's nice to have the DHs participate in this process...they are involved at least.

Toobee~ Any news on your pretty embies?

Chris~ It is indeed like a soap opera. What a busy thread we have! It's wonderful!! :D

Hi everyone.

So my beta is in and it looks horrible. It's only 7. My nurse said there is a very little chance the numbers will rise. I'll go for another test on wednesday.

Sorry, no personals. Feel like crap. Still have 2 more hours at work, dont know how to pretend everything's fine.

GL to everyone!!!

baby crazy- so sorry to hear of youe low beta. I was in the same position last time. I am hopinf for a miracle for you.

msfixit - Valerie is right about now doing PGD unless it is very necessary. In our case it is. I have a genetic condition which in my case is a very mild form. However, my child could get it and have a lot more problems than I have. For that reason the DH and I decide to do it even though it lowers our odds of geting a BFP.

WOW Ladies what a busy busy weekend and week to come.

Baby-crazy- I am so sorry to hear about your BETA. I will be thinking of you and hoping for it to rise.

Val- I just knew you had 4-5 eggs inthere witht hat grat E2 and 3 fert that is so fantastic. Can't wait to hear if it will be twins or triplets in your future ))

Toobee- So glad to hear you are feeling better and 8 fertilized eggs is wonderful. How many are you thinking about transferring?

Misfixit- Welcome to such a great supportive place. What a wonderful group of ladies to have on our side. I do all my own shots as well except the PIO and I hate having DH do that one. I give my trigger subq in the thigh and I think some give it IM hence the need for DH's.

AManda- wow 15 fertilized eggies so great. Good luck witht he PGD.

TrueBeliever- I am so sorry to hear the OHSS isn't any better but WOW oh WOW TWINS!! No wonder you have all that extra fluid with 2 beanies contributing.

JJake- great number of follies and close in size.

Good luck on the ER's tomorrow JJake, Horsegrl and Muchhope.
Hope the 2WW'ers are holding in there.

As for me AF decided to show up this morning so time to get the show on the road finally. Will start Lupron either tomorrow on Wed.

Have a great day Ladies.

baby_crazy - (((HUGS)))I am so sorry that your number isn't higher. Good luck on your next beta, you could be one of those fluke cases and the beta will double. There is always a chance.

MizTia - Yey, you are finally back in the saddle. What will be your protocol?

Babycrazy~ I'm really sorry to hear the news. But, there is still hope to hang on to! You never know that it will start increasing from now on. I've been there and it's an awful feeling. Try to keep your PMA, as hard as it is...it might work out, we've seen it happen. {{{{{big hugs}}}}}.
You will be in my thoughts!

Mztia~ You're back in the saddle...hang on for your crazy ride. Wishing you the best for this coming cycle !! :D :D I see that you're doing Lupron, I have no idea how long a cycle that is as I've never done it that way. Let me know.

I was thinking that since I started the suppositories, I'm going to start monitoring my symptoms very closely, that way I can figure out what comes from pregnancy and what comes from progesterone. I'm monitoring my temps as well. So far I feel great except for some bloating that started today.

to_have_fun08 - too funny on the "big behind"! There's this song that goes like this "If you've got a big ole booty, say "uh-oh". It was a part of my music mix in my kickboxing class. I kept trying to get my girls to respond with "uh-oh", but mostly I was the only one doing it! I guess they all have skinny butts! Why do they even come to my class? ;)

Val - Yeah, from what you and Amanda say I definitely don't want to do PGD unless I have to. As for having DH give the shots, I guess I never thought that some people may really have a problem with needles. Don't get me wrong, it's not like I enjoy any of it. But I just kinda go "you gotta do it". I almost feel like I'm better at it than DH would be. I think he'd be afraid to hurt me and be too slow when he needs to be quick and vice versa. He does participate, though. He took care of ordering all the meds this cycle (we got stuff from UK actually, much cheaper!) and he mixes my doses every night. I do Menopur and Bravelle.
That's good to hear that with increased dosage I still have a chance of extra follies showing up. Not that 6 is bad. I'd settle for 6 if they all grow to be nice similar sized eggies.
Our problem is that we don't really know at what stage we're failing. RE thinks it's egg quality due to my PCOS. But it could be a combo of that with Endo. Endo affects fertility just by being in the system, even though it's not clear to doctors how yet. If nothing else, we should at least be able to see if I produce good eggs. With IUI, you just can't tell :(

When's your ET? You're doing 5 days?

Hello again I am off ot me dreaded AP in a minute. Well not totally dreaded but those suckers always hurt me to go in but after whoa how great do I feel.
To Have Fun- My protocol this time will be microdose flare lupron. All i really know is that i start lupron on CD2(cycle day of AF) I think I start regular stims the next day but I have no idea to be honest. And no ganirelix for me this time apparently the lupron takes its place. Hoping for more and slower growing follicles this time around.
Val- It is so great to hop on the ride again!!

Off to AP I go.

Val: I only get a Day 3 Fert Report, All they said is that we are going to day 5. My clinic doesnt like to check progress to much cause they think its not good the embryos. I wish I knew more, but they know best I guess. But I am going in @ 10 am tommorrow for ET!! WooHoo- I have no idea what I am working with, you know as much as I do. Heres hoping, and praying and wishing , and dreaming and of course Visualizing!
I want 6 blasts  yup Im greedy!

Jenolina: Your leaking, Oh no!!! hee hee. Sound likes a total pain in the arse. Well my 2nd PIO harpoon  was allot easier then the 1st. I think DH hit a nerve, cause that side is still sore, but lastnights was so much better and dont feel anything from that one at all. I cant imagine a cold PIO shot- HOLY OWWIE!

TrueBeliever: Look at you, two sacs! That is awesome- Congrats! OOF so sorry you have the OHSS freak on- UGH!! I had a mild case and it was so not fun. In fact It felt like I had way to many turkey dinners all at once. I was lucky to not have to be apsperated, when they said that to me as a possibility I kinda shut down. My clinic put me on high salt, high proetein and gatorade thinking that woud suck up the liquid I had, which did the trick and got under control- Sounds like you may have the full dealy-o. My heart goes out you-but TWINS OMG!!!! You go girl!

to_have_fun08 : Yes, your right MY RE was talking about converting me to an FET, I was lucky that the diet they gave really got things moving since mine was a mild case and also I got a few extra days since we are doing a 5 day transfer anyway. I feel like a totally differant person than I did the other day, so i was lucky and it surpised my RE as well. Oof, sorry about that wieght gain, I know thats hard. Ya know....walking is a totally great form of excercise if you can do it. Man your story of the NUNS WAS AWESOME!! I want PINK NUNS!! In fact Ill take them blue, purple, yellow, as long as the send lots of fertility goodness my way!!

JJJAKE: Congrats on triggering!!! Woo hoo. Your follies are great sizes, they will most likey grow more between now and ET- You should feel solid about those sizes. :D And yes the bloating sucks- I had a little bit worse than bloating but non the less this chronic bloating just is crap-ola, But we do what we have to do, dont wee :D

turtlesonastump: Thanks for the update- A belated congrats on ET, mine tomorrow at 10 AM- How are you feeling???

horsegrl & Much Hope: Sending lots of good eggie vibes your way for a painless, abundant ER!!!! :P Woo HOO!

msfixit03: Im so sorry if I scared you, read what I wrote to Jenolina, it was better lastnight!!! But HOLY BUTT CANOLIE  that first one was a bugger and still is! I know what you mean about being a board junkie. On top of that I am a research and information goober as well, cant get enough of it! Now , those follies sound just fine- Their are allot
of woman on here that had a little less then that and are doing great!!

Baby-Crazy- Im not sure what else to say except I am so incredibly sorry for you. Rest , regroup and I hope you will be ok. It is always possible that the beta is low because its just starting to rise and you had late implementation. Wahtever the case, please treat yourslef extra kind-

MzTia- Love that name! Congrats on AF, funny how it becomes out best freind when we want to cycle!! or get pregnant-

Well thats it for me - for now- tommorrow is ET! I am looking forward to getting my embryos back!!!! :P

GOOD EVENING LADIES,

TO HAVE, MZ TIA TURTLE AND EVERYONE Thanks for the encouragement.

MZTIA You are on your way....great!

HORSEGIRL We are on the same schedule...we have something else in common too I'm feeling my left side more for some reason. Thanks for your words and good luck to you tommorrow... let us know how ya did :)

MUCHHOPE Happy ya triggered too, you gave the shot in your arm? My site is also hurting I feel your pain.

VAL Hey val :D You know my doc told me Sun morning about eating 50grams of protein and drinking Propel instead of gatoraid (or dilute the aid to about half and half). So DH went straight to the market and purchased what I needed  I also read about your experience after ER and You reminded me to bring provisions. Thanks for everything Val :)

MISSFIX Your funny.......The thing about my DH is he hates to feel left out. I can do the injections on my own and had every intention to do so. But DH insisted.....and to leave him out....... VAL was also right sometimes more do show up but a good number nonetheless.

BABYCRAZY I'm so sorry but keeep your head up things can change....My prayers are with you and your DH.

TOOBEE you hit the nail on the head......."WE DO WHAT WE HAVE TOO" good luck tommorrow.

As for me I'ma watch T.V. and pray I will be able to fall asleep. Catch up with you guys tommorrow.

Please allow me to give a shout-out to my DH....He's allowed me to lye around all day today. He's made dinner, cleaned the house, did the laundry. Everything I normally do he has done on top of his own chores. Yes, maybe that's what he's suppose to do but I find it sweet. Even with the many mumbles under his breath  "luv u honey"

Good evening!

Toobee~ Good luck tomorrow on ET! I hope you get your 6 blasts too! Nothing wrong with being greedy. I want 3 blasts too. I hope I get them.

JJJake~ Good luck on ER!! Don't forget the supplies  . They have plenty at my RE's office but nobody offered and I was knocked out!

I hope I won't be dealing with OHSS either. I'm so bloated tonight I already look 3 months pregnant. Kind of fun to see but I feel like Toobee , having eaten way too much turkey! I sure feel stuffed. I guess I better start eating tons of protein and drink Gatorade! It just came on so suddenly....

Once again, good luck to all the girl retrieving tomorrow!!

Hi ladies:

Well horsegrl and JJake this time tomorrow I guess there will be new worries, will we have fertilization. Every step is a new adventure, but we keep the faith and forge ahead to motherhood :)

Yes, I thought I was sent the wrong size needle, since it was only 1 inch instead of the 1 1/2 for IM in the butu, Sher triggers in the arm now and let me tell you. I much rather it have been in my butt.

Toobee, good luck tomorrow on your ET, from our lips to gos ears, let those lil embies plant nice in deep for a 9 month nap :)

Val, I am so happy about your 3 embies. Are you going to transfer all 3 at blast or do a 3 day?

Chris: How in gods name do you give yourself the trigger shot? especially since you do it in your butt? I did all my own shots excpet my Del Estrogen, which is IM and the trigger, hubby was honored.lol well actually he was terrified at first but he did what he had too. He is so wondeful, I think Ill keep him lol

Well ladies I am off to bed, I need to be up at 4 so I can eat 6 hrs before ER since I am diabetic I need to have food to break down so my pump does not make me crash during the fasting hours before.

Please all say a prayer that my lonely 3 follies all are mature and have eggs in them and fertilize. Then I still have to worry about PGD report.
I think I found a few more grey hairs through this process. Thank god for hair foiling....

Until tomorrow
